Great camera for beginner that wants to learn more.

Great camera with many settings and functions, but extremely easy to use. We took this particular camera out west and got some great shots!

Camera is excellent and the additional lens is great

I have been long time user of Nikon I began with manual SLR and developing black and white photos at home and school when technology came around and I wasn’t into developing I still did lot photos so started out with 60 as they got better I wanted in the middle but not full blown professional model. This one has it great package deal AF. Flip out screen. Videos and affordable without going full blown. Snap bridge is awesome pics straight to phone and share with family and friends that couldn’t come to games or see the band performing . Try it out

What an awesome camera, great price for an great product. In comparison with my mirrorless camera the quality of the images is amazing. User friendly, and easy to figure out.

Like I said, it's a great camera. Super user friendly but with enough customization it's good for someone looking to get a little more serious. It's low low light performance is frustrating, escpecially with back lighting. Will need to buy a better lens, but camera itself it good

Love this camera. Easy to use, great shots. Don't need to be an expert but it allows you to play around with the settings as well.

Bought this camera for a trip back in december and it was definitely one if the best purchases I ever made. Easy to use and very handy. A big plus was having two lenses to switch between.

This is my first camera and I wanted something that wasn’t a beginner camera but also wasn’t so high tech. This camera is easy to use and takes great pictures.

Some people are turned off by hearing that a product is “perfect for a newbie” or “entry level stuff.” Aversion to that language is understandable. So instead, let me say it like this: this camera is easy enough to figure out for someone who is brand new to photography, and it still has a high enough resolution to make killer/professional looking photos. It has features in it that will help you grow and learn such as bracketing, back button focusing, exposure compensation/exposure editing, and it shoots raw files which you can edit in camera. If none of those words meant anything to you, that’s okay. You can still pick this up, set it to auto, hit the button, and get awesome photos without learning any of it. However, if you want to learn it all and make photography a hobby or even become a beginning pro, this camera can do the job.

This is my first DSLR camera and I’m really enjoying it. It’s been pretty easy to learn and the pictures are great! Having the two lenses to start with is helpful.

I love this camera! I have little to no experience with cameras but was wanting to dive into a hobby. I have always been interested in photography and did some research online before buying. I think this is a great camera for beginners. It is easy to use and features a touch screen that I didn't realize would be such a useful tool

The camera has helped me create beautiful photoshoots. This is great for people who are a little past the beginner phase. I plan on using this camera until it dies on me.

Love it. Take very nice quality pictures. Easy to use. Would have been nice to have a second battery. Order another battery online, got the next day.

After much research I decided to get the D5600 and I am very happy I did. It has all the bells and whistles I could need at the intermediate level of photography I am at.

Great clarity, light weight. Auto for great beginner photos, manual adjustments for those who wish to get into the depth of it

It was really good for event shooting in semi low light. The 70-300mm lens is very useful to shoot at distance. It was very easy to configure. I highly recommend it

It’s easy to learn the features of this camera using the manual and experimenting with different options. The pictures are great!
