Awesome starter camera!

The swivel screen is very helpful for shots from tight spaces and the live screen is fantastic. The ISO goes very high and the only real downside is that the lenses don't have a very wide aperture setting so low light shots are almost impossible without getting a better lens (which I did), however daylight shots come out beautifully with both kit lenses.

Perfect camera for beginners

It was finally time to upgrade to something like this DSLR camera. I have had no issues with this camera so far, and it has really opened up my opportunities for taking more pictures.

I bought it as a Chritmas gift to myself because I wanted some great quality shots of family and friends during the holidays. It is a point and shoot camera, but has so many more features to create those special photos. Great clarity! I would recommend buying this camera well ahead of an event so you can become more familiar with all the features your Nikon has available to create beautiful pictures and lasting memories.

I’m a bit old-fashioned so I prefer using the eye piece rather then the screen. However, the screen can be rotated with can be helpful. Setup was easy. I like the “lock lens” but tend to forget it has to be unlocked before a picture can be taken. Also like Mikon Snap Bridge - makes it easy to transfer pictures to my iPad without having to attach the camera to my MacBook first.

Good Camera for Personal Use
