Nikon D5600 for Beginners to Intermdiates even Exp
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this camera for car photography and it is an excellent camera for crop-sensor cameras. This camera is great for outdoor photography, and for people who don't need full-frame digital cameras. I would recommend the D5600 any day over the D7500 DSLR crop sensor camera.

Former Pro Photog loves this camera
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is written from my standpoint as a stills photographer. I have no interest in video. For 5 years I worked as a photographer shooting weddings, portraits and selling an occasional fine art print. For that work I used Canon gear to include the 5D3, 5D2, 6D and L lenses. Due to a personal issue that arose I sold all of my Canon gear in 2015. I am thus purchasing camera gear with a clean slate without being locked into any manufacturer. I owned Olympus mirrorless E-M5 and E-PM2 for the past year but did not feel that they offered an upgrade path that would support low light photography should I choose to photograph weddings again in the future. The new E-M1 II does not appear to offer an improvement to ISO that I would personally consider useable beyond ISO 1600. I chose Best Buy so that I could compare 5 camera bodies in person: Canon SL2, T7i and 80D. Nikon D5600 and D7200. Ultimately I chose the D5600 due to size, features and build quality. I have found ISO 3200 to be very good and also believe ISO 6400 can be very good IF the picture is properly exposed. I have not attempted ISO values beyond that. I did successfully use SnapBridge this morning to connect and transfer images to my IPhone 6+. I certainly would like to see the app improved and made more streamlined and easier but it is useable with my phone. I transfered images, edited them in PhotoShop Express and used the phone as a remote to the camera. I am looking forward to learning all of the features this camera offers and acquiring some high quality prime lenses to use with it. Highly recommended!

Awesome camera...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my camera for about a week now. I have owned Nikon film cameras before this ( favorite being a black body FM), but this is my first experience with a dslr. This camera is very easy to get started with, using the auto settings, but it has the capability to be used in the fully manual mode, allowing you to experiment with different settings. I have seen comments saying the Snapbridge was inconsistent, but this has not been my experience. I bought a 64 gb memory card for it, but with the Snapbridge I have another 256 gb available in my phone. It transfers the image files flawlessly. I highly recommend this camera to anyone that wants a great experience with your photography.

First DSLR Camera
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I plan on updating this review for some time until I'm done with it. First off shipping was on point, like usual from Best Buy. So this is my first DSLR and was debating on the 3300, but decided to get this one instead. I just wanted something a little more for the money I was dishing out. Couldn't play with it on day one because the battery didn't come fully charged, but that's understandable. Gripping the camera felt pretty natural when I was taking some pictures around the house. I most definitely like the snap bridge app. It's a great option that this camera has and works on point with my GS7. More to come...
