I bought this camera for office use. I attached a macro lens and it works great. I am not sure the extra lenses are worth the extra costs.

The software does not work with the current Mac OS and I was unable to get any help from Nikon. The telephoto lens took blurry pictures even with a tripod no matter the subject distance. And I was still charged a restocking fee when the camera failed to perform as advertised. Not good !

This is my second nikon camera and im totally dissapointed on how this camera turned out to be. Ive only had my camera 3 months, and where my memory card goes, one of the slots doesnt hold it down and my lens doesnt click in anymore. Ive contacted nikon and they refused to help. I will never buy another nikon again.

    A winner for Nikon

I come from a long line of Nikon cameras starting with the Nikon FG. My first Nikon DSLR was the Nikon D70, then many upgrades through the years. This D7200 is by far the best Nikon DSLR I've ever used. This is not for the beginner, I'd recommend starting out with one of the D3xxx or D5xxx cameras to get started and work up to the D7200. The first thing I did after getting this camera was to get Nikon's Nifty Fifty and the Nikon 35MM prime lens. The 35mm is a fairly fast lens and is a good walk around normal lens on a DX body. I use this camera for Landscape, night sky, and family photography. It has been a workhorse and an excellent performer. I shoot mostly RAW format and have really been able to produce some excellent images especially at high ISO's in low light. Although this camera is a few years old, it will outperform most if not all consumer level cameras. This is a very capable DSLR and will give many years of reliable performance. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a DX format pro level DSLR.
