    Stepping it Up a Notch

You can definately feel the difference in weight, especially with an FX lens attached. Remember, full-framed lens are heavier and more $$$ than cropped lens. If you plan on getting a certain lens for the camera, I suggest purchasing it with the body as a set. It will be sooooo much cheaper than purchasing it separately later on down the road.

I debated whether to upgrade from the D600, but I decided to spoil myself and I'm glad I did. The low light performance and focusing on the D750 are fantastic. The articulating screen is nice for video, and is helpful when taking photos from a very low or very high position. 24 megapixels is right in my sweet spot. I've never owned a D4, but this camera is as professional as I think I'll ever need. I have to admit I'm still getting used to the new Info button and screen, but overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

It's early on for the review as I've only had the camera a few weeks but the initial impression is very good. Coming from the d7100 which I like very much I like how many features are the same or similar so the learning curve is easier. Size and weight are pretty comparable. Looking forward to getting more acquainted and many shots to follow

I'm extremely happy with my purchase of this camera. I moved up from a D7000 since I wanted a full-frame and this did not disappoint - especially for the price. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

I am new to photography, I don't plan to try to support myself with this art. I do like to experiment with the settings, and this camera will keep me busy for a long time. It seems well built and has worked well. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Owning 6 Nikon bodies, this has been a wonderful addition to my collection. The video is excellent, and the stills seem to be better than our stills from the D800. We've only used it for about a month, but so far I would say it's my favorite Nikon body that I own (I don't have a D4s).

I took several hundred photos since I purchased this camera and have not encountered any flare banding problem yet. The auto focus is swift and precised, the dynamic range and color are just excellent. Nikon has hit a sweet spot with this camera.

I purchased the D750 because it was similar in body style, weight and buttons to the D7100 I already had. In my opinion, they are a great compliment to each other. However, the D750 is great by itself, especially in low light situations. The image sizes are bigger on the D750 since it's FX format so be prepared for that, and if you're concerned about missing that extra reach you get from a DX camera, you can crop in more in post without loss of quality with the D750. Nikon did a great job with this camera and t's easy to see why this was chosen camera of the year.

Overall, the D750 is the sweet spot for hobbyist photographers and professionals alike. Price range is within what is attainable by the average consumer; camera is easy to use (make take a little time to learn for newbies) but definitely easy to figure out for experienced photographers coming from an entry level camera. Great Nikon quality, and image quality (both in good light and low-light) is excellent. Does pretty much the same things and provides the same quality as the more expensive D810. If you don't need 1/8000s shutter and 36MP (which only matters for printing really) then get the D750 and save the extra $1000 for better lenses.

Bought this as a backup and for some portrait work. I shoot mostly wildlife and sports/action so I use the D500 more. Since an updated model is due out shortly the price for the D750 is hard to pass up as it is capable of handling most any situation. The only reason to spend more (D850) is if extremely high resolution is required or for even better high ISO performance.
