Nikon's greatest consumer level DX DSLR. I have been using Nikon Cameras since film days and I own to many lenses to change to mirrorless. (not all SLR lenses are compatible with mirrorless bodies) This Camera has many similarities to Nikon's Pro D500 but for less money, it shoots fast, has a fair buffer, very good AF system for viewfinder. AF for Live View is only fair, not as good as the new Mirrorless Cameras. I have been using this Camera for over a year and still like it a lot. It only has one SD Card Slot but has never been a problem for me I use good quality cards. I feel like this Camera is a good value for the money.

Love this camera. Thought I would get automatic image previews with the tilt up window but as far as I can tell you still have to use the preview button. I miss the second card slot which saved me several times in the past when I neglected to return the card to slot one.

I am really happy with my camera purchase, it is compatible with all the lens from my previous camera. It takes fast photos and has many features. The best feature is the wireless/blue tooth connection to my phone so I can easily view, edit, and use the high quality photos I have just taken. I gave it 4 stars because I am having difficulty utilizing all the features of the autofocus which are many.

I upgraded from my old D200. This camera is great, I've only had it for about a month but so far I love it. The low light ISO sensitivity compared to my old D200 is a huge improvement. Im not a pro so I dont really miss any of the extra features the D200 had. This camera is a great high end camera for just about anyone unless you are a paid professional photographer and need the features of the D500 or full frame cameras.

I had D 7100 before I purchased this camera. I must say it was a huge step forward. Every picture is more detailed and sharper + the colors are more real.

I bought this camera to complete my “D7500 kit”which is a D7500 body with the 200-500 mm lens and a D7500 body with the 105 mm macro lens. With this kit I can shoot both wildlife far away and small subjects up close. Because of the size of both lenses the D7500 body provides a better balance than a smaller body would. And the results are excellent!

I only got this camera a few days ago, and I am already SO impressed by it! I was concerned about the mega pixels only being 20.9, but I can't even notice the difference. The rapid fire is absolutely brilliant! The fastest is 8 frames per second and seems to be even better when set on "sport".

I have gotten into photography as a hobby and upgraded from the D3400 to the D5600 and now to the D7500. I love Nikon cameras and each camera has taught me more about my new hobby.

I bought this a week or two after it was released as an upgrade to my D7100. While the D7100 has been great, the D7500 is a very worthy upgrade. I considered the D500, the D750, and waiting for Nikon's new full frame releases but ultimately decided crop frame is still right for me at this point. The D7500 is basically the little brother of the D500, which (from what I've read) is incredible and bumped the D7200 as Nikon's new top crop frame camera. However for me, the D500 was too big, lacked a pop up flash, and was almost the same cost as some of their FF cameras. Pros: 1. New sensor (same as the D500). The colors and sharpness are excellent...noticeably better than my D7100. The noise and autofocus are considerably better too. There's also a new group focus point option and auto fine tune that I'm still experimenting with. 2. Lighter and slightly smaller than the D7100. Much easier to carry around. 3. It's FAST!....much faster than my D7100. 4. Rear touch screen that also tilts...comes in handy. Had that in my first DSLR (D5100) and it's nice having it back, especially for video. 5. 4K video and wi-fi/bluetooth. Haven't taken full advantage of 4K video yet but even the 1080 looks better than my D7100. I can now upload pics if I want on the fly (takes a few steps but great option to have). To save battery I leave it on airplane mode until I want to upload. Cons: The main con for me is that the D7500 only has one SD slot. I loved having an extra slot in the D7100...mostly only as a back up when I left my main one in my computer. I only used the 2nd slot during a shoot a few times in 3 years. So, now I have to be more aware of where my card is or keep extras in my bag or vehicle. I've seen complaints about this but many countered (and I agree) saying that 2nd slot rarely, if ever, "saved" a shoot when the first card went bad. Others have complained that you cannot put a battery grip on it. This was not a big deal for me. Nikon also dropped the total megapixels and reduced the monitor resolution from the D7200 and D500. These changes will not even be noticeable to most users. The last thing to consider is some editing programs (Lightroom and Photoshop in particular) have not added this camera profile to their software yet. Therefore, they will not recognize the NEF's or JPG's from this camera. This has been an inconvenience for me b/c to view and edit my photos, I've had to open the RAW files in Nikon Capture NXD (which is free), convert them to TIFFs, and then import into Lightroom where I can then work on the files. It usually takes Adobe some time (a month or two) to do this so I expect an update to be coming soon.

It’s not giving me a clear photo even though I’m using it on ever mode and changing settings I did so much YouTube to get it right and I did all the right things but still isn’t giving me anything where close to what I need even when I changed lenses
