Excellent camera. This was an upgrade from my Nikon D7000 which I’ve had since 2006 or somewhere there abouts. I was able to use all of my Nikon lenses and flash and everything worked flawlessly. Looking forward to more adventures and shooting with this camera.

    The Best of the Best

Even though Mirrorless is the future.. there are definitely tons of shortcomings of that format. It feels great to have a standard DSLR to cover moments at a wedding that the mirrorless struggles with (really low light). Simply put. This is the best of the best.

It is early in my experience with the D850 and currently reading a book on its full potential. I had good results with my D750. Upgraded to have two cameras for concert photography.

Great camera but Nikon charges for 9fps capability

Want 9 FPS? Price first. Consider Battery grip, specific battery and Nikon charger. If you don’t have fx lenses.... $. Picture quality? Excellent. Love ability to choose various size and formats while shooting the sport. Shooting with Dx lenses and crop has great low light res. So camera is great but consider what you need and price extras.

After extensive research, reading and watching reviews and renting a Nikon D850 I decided that this camera is the best DSLR available and I purchased it from Best Buy using the price matching and getting rewards points. It is not a stock item at any Best Buy buy availability in shipping is quite fast.

Love the camera. I upgraded from a D7500, which I really liked, looking for a little more of an edge. Was it worth it, absolutely. Love the view finder, rear focus button, joy stick, and auto focus. I‘m not a photographer of people: animals, landscapes, and macros are my focus areas. The D7500 had more capability than I, the D850 even more so; but trying to understand it, is making me a better photographer and I never have the excuse, “if I had a better camera”.

This is one beast of a camera. Between flexibility and functionality it has literally everything. Studio and print photographers you have 45mp to work with and the clarity is second to none. Definitely would recommend this camera to any Ameritrust photographer to start expanding their profession

Focuses faster than the D800 and seems to hold onto the subject better and be less affected by the background. Outstanding resolution. I do miss the built in flash the D800 had, came in handy sometimes, don't always have time to dig out a flash from camera case.

Great camera and the best available Nikon SLR for the nonprofessional photographer. The price at Best Price was in line with that from other reputable dealers. It was delivered very promptly and in excellent condition.

I absolutely love this camera. Everything from the low light capability to the faster autofocus, to the sharper images, everything just works right. The button placement is better than on my D750 and it feels better in my hands than the 810. Paired with the 70-200, it's perfect for weddings.

It’s a great camera but it’s heavy when using with all the gear and more cameras when you are in a wedding. I wish it was a bit lighter. Great quality, I decided to keep it cause it’s a great DSLR. I only use it for portraits for now. Battery last long and I like that a lot.

This camera is an upgrade from my 750, the littlest features make you feel so spoiled when going back to the 750. From the touch screen to the focus point toggle. It’s is a bit heavier especially when using a 200mm, but you won’t be disappointed!

Solid camera. A full frame camera with plenty of megapixels. Upgrading from a D7500 I do miss the internal flash for on the go. But my use was for indoor portrait photo.

I just upgraded from my Nikon D7000. I’ve had my 7000 for 10+ years and used it faithfully. The minute I picked up the 850... it was like a whole new world. This camera is breathtaking. I just purchased a Tamron 35mm to go with it and I’m in love. Best purchase ever.
