Bought this camera for personal use. I love the quality of photos that it produces.

For me, this is a great step up from my old D300S. This is full frame vs DX with greater resolution, speed (focus, processing and fps), interfaces directly with mobile devices and is a joy to use with very similar controls I’m used to. Plus, this takes advantage of the numerous lenses I already own. Maybe in the future I will upgrade my whole kit to mirrorless, but for now I will definitely enjoy this awesome camera and my beloved Nikon glass.

I used a D7000 purchased 11 years ago & it still works, but I wanted to upgrade. The D850 is a beast with regards to build quality, incredible. I cannot & don’t need to go through all the features as they are far too numerous & there are a ton of reviews on YouTube. This said, for the price it’s an incredible value. I have DX lenses & this is an FX but you can program it to know the difference automatically so all your DX f-mount will seamlessly work on it, but naturally being this is a full frame camera, from here on out, get DX lens. If you’ve been on the fence, go for it, you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve slowly but steadily climbed the ladder of Nikon DSLRs, now arriving at the D850. The D850 is a significant upgrade from the D5600 or D7500. And while I considered myself to be close to an expert at using those cheaper cameras, I’ve struggled in the first few weeks with the D850. Take some time to practice with the settings, particularly autofocus, and it will make a world of difference. In other words, be patient. Right out of the box, you’ll need to fine tune it to your liking. But once you get it squared away, you will love it.

This is my first major buy in BB and I'm really impressed by the speed of availability and pickup. The camera itself is a dream buy, I have waited a couple years. No issues with the camera or packaging. Happily taking pictures for the past week. BB discounts, member benefits and service options is the standout.

This is my fourth Nikon DSLR and it is the best one by far. Over the last few years I have had the chance to work with one of Canons DSLR’s along with a Fijifilm X-Pro and even Nikon’s Z6, and I can say that this camera offers the best combination of features, performance, and image quality for the price. Plus if you started working in the photography field prior to digital, this camera makes will make the move to digital easy.

I have shot with Nikon DSLR cameras for years. My most recent camera was a Nikon D700. I shot with that camera for years and finally decided to upgrade to a D850. I was not disappointed. The Nikon D850 is a beast!!!. It is way faster than my D700 and the picture quality is much better. Since it is a 45 Megapixel camera, is captures more picture information in the shot. That means that I can crop out some of the picture and still have a high quality shot. The bonus for me is that I can also capture high quality video. If you are on the fence about buying this camera, just do it... You will not regret your purchase,

After some research and finding this on sale, determined this is the camera for me. Pricey for not coming with a lens, but has been amazing. I’d am a beginner but with some self learning, picked up the ins and out easily.

I was a Nikon professional for over 25 years and I've had a number of Nikon film and digital cameras. I'm getting back into photography and waited months to get my hands on the D850 -- it was well worth the wait. This is an amazing camera. I'm blown away by the image quality and the camera's functionality. I'm a pro and it's still going to take me awhile to figure out everything this camera is capable of doing.

This is a fantastic camera. I had the D800 which is still a great camera. But the D850 is an amazing step up from the D800. I did not get the D810 since the D800 met my needs well enough. But this D850 is absolutely amazing in the quality of the pictures it takes. This is not a beginners camera. It is highly recommended that you get a less expensive camera and work on your photography skills with it. Then, when you have learned about ISO, Depth of Field, Dynamic Range, etc, this is a great camera to step up to. I highly recommend this camera to anyone interested in one of the best cameras on the market today.

I bought this D850 to replace my old D600. You can feel the big difference in many ways. It is expensive but worth it especially you use it indoor or at night often.

This Nikon DLSR model is now a couple years old and is still holding its own for picture quality. Paired with a solid prime lens it sets a standard that is hard to beat. I've owned perhaps 5 or 6 previous models of Nikon SLR and DSLR cameras. This was a purchase i'm not likely to regret and will keep for several years to come. I would highly recommend it for an advanced hobbyist or professional if you have good glass to take advantage of the image quality. I also would point out the ability to take multiple focal point images of a subject and combine them to yield a substantial depth of field macro photo - simply awesome results.

Amazing piece of equipment for any real estate, portrait or recreational photographer. Super high resolution for high quality photos. Highly recommend if you’re looking to upgrade your equipment.

Beautiful pictures! Like the lay out and access on the front and back of the camera to be able to change my settings and modes.

This camera produces amazing photos. If you are familiar with the Nikon menu, setting up the camera is very easy.
