Only shooting this camera for a few weeks. Paired with a Nikkor 70-200mm lens the photos are terrific. Loaded with features and easy to use. Other camera is a Nikon D500 so the transition was easy.

I have used Nikon cameras for over 40years and enjoy the quality. I purchased this 850 at the Best Buy in San Bernardino which in my opinion has the best selection and the people working the camera section really know photography. This is a FX (full frame) body and the quality of the photos are amazing. I had been using the Nikon 7500 which is a crop sensor body and thought the photos were outstanding until I got this 850 for my Birthday I am very pleased with this camera and Best Buy for carrying all the accessories to make a great combination

Since I had upgraded to the enthusiasts camera I always wanted to upgrade to the professional level camera. My budget wasn't letting me get it. Got chance to get it when Best Buy allowed me the line of credit. Enjoying the D850.

I purchased this as a pro camera. Learning curve not bad if you are familiar with Nikon digital cameras. Feature-laden and excellent for all types of pro images.

I have been using Nikon cameras for more than 20 years. This is the best camera I have ever used. I was very happy with the DX cameras earlier and then D750; but this camera has changed everything. It gives the total freedom to experiment with all the controls, and gives outstanding results. I experimented with both extremes of ISO and pleased to see the results. Great camera!

I had a Nikon D5100 for 7 years. This was a huge upgrade for me, I saved up for a couple of years to get the D810 then the D850 came out so I had to save longer... I am extremely happy with it. It is amazing. I am now saving for a telephoto lens.. I had to upgrade my computer to handle the files as well as upgrade lightroom to support the files. My computer was 8 years old though. Best Buy was able to get me the camera fast. Purchased in Oregon so no sales tax !!! Super cool touch screen on back display works great. Battery is pretty good if you are not doing video. Can't afford the grip but maybe someday.

Having used several Nikon SLRE/DLSR over the years the D850 has been on my radar since it was released. The sensor, design, handling are all on a level above the enthusiast/prosumer/etc. Nikon DLSRs and was well worth the wait ; when the price recently came down to @2200 I jumped and will gladly buy again for a backup with the price hits the $1800 neighborhood. There's nothing to be said here about the technical side of the camera others haven't said better and in more detail, likewise handling, usability, and, of course output. Don't let those who say DSLRs are obsolete and so on sway you, you definitely owe it to yourself to try out a D850 especially if you're looking the Z8.

I was debating between going mirrorless or staying with Dslrs. I upgraded from a d3500 and decided after 2 mths of reviews to get this D850. Im still learning the button placement for what you choose to set them as. But the shutter button is so much quicker than what Im used to! I do wildlife photography and do print a lot of prints, so having the extra MP is great. There isnt much weight difference for me with the 200-500 attached, although many stated its heavier. I do mostly handheld and have had no issues thus far, even with BIF. I am happy with my purchase so far, seeing its only been since Xmas. I got it on sale for $350 less than regular price. It does need a XQD (CF express) card, which is pricey. But... this camera can work with just the SD card alone.

This camera is full of options to assist any level of photographer, it's weatherproof so you can shoot during inclement weather without worrying, the tile screen is extremely helpful for low angle shots, the ease of use to customize buttons that reflect your shooting style is welcomed and it's ability to capture stunning, quality images is amazing.

This is my 2nd d850 camera body I have purchased. Easy to use. Sharp images. Use it majority for sports photography.

I decided to grab a spare d850, given the price has fallen. While it isn't being made anymore (afaik), it is still an incredible camera. It has great autofocus, incredible low-light sensitivity, and excellent dynamic range. Someday, I'll jump to mirrorless, but for the price point, this pro-level camera cannot be beat.

This is a great camera, that has a lot of features, There are still plenty of options I have not used yet, but look forward to taking more great pictures.

This camera is amazing. So many features, amazing sharp photo quality. Still learning how to use everything. wish it wasnt as expensive as it was.
