Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the exceptional camera quality, ease of use, and high resolution of the D850 DSLR. Many also praise its impressive low-light performance and long battery life, while noting its extensive features. However, some find the camera's weight and size to be substantial, and the price point relatively high. A learning curve is also mentioned by a few users.

I am in love with my new D850. I owned the 810 before purchasing this and it handles amazing. The only thing I have noticed is the shutter is a little louder than the 810 or 750. Being a wedding photographer, that could matter a little to you. The pictures are top of the line!

I wasn't thrilled that there was no flash, but it is forcing me to learn how to get out of Auto mode. When I get it right, the pictures look professional! I just need more practice! The menus and dials are super easy to use which makes me able to make quick changes during my learning process! To the hubs: Thanks for the amazing present!

DSLR’s are not dead. This is an amazing camera still today. Legendary! I have the Nikon D500 and Z6. I haven’t used either one since purchasing this camera. The details from this camera is extraordinary. You can’t go wrong with this camera.

This is what the 800 series should have been for years. As much as I loved my other Nikon's, it took backlit buttons, and a big viewfinder to make this work for me. For night street scenes the d750 seems to have the edge for noise, but it's very much a solvable problem with nearly 50 megapixels.

I've been a Canon user for the past 30 years but purchased the Nikon D850 due to the advances Nikon has made with the Autofocus, extremely important for the sports and wildlife photography I do. The learning curve to Nikon was not that difficult although there are a few features that are not as user-friendly as my Canon equipment.

I graduated from a Nikon D800 to the newer Nikon D850 and am not a bit disappointed in the quality and capability of this professional camera body. It is not for the novice but can be used by anyone with a thorough reading of the manual. I am very pleased with the quality of the images and videos from this camera.

I have used Nikon for years, but I made the switch to the d850 and the image quality couldn't be better. I shoot nature photography and this has taken my game up a bit. I used to have to do a ton of editing just to get the colors right, now I can quickly change settings in camera and get the shot I want with little to no fixes in Photoshop.

Upgraded from a d5500. Was skeptical initially because of the money spent for this body and lenses. As soon as I took pictures hiking and uploaded them I knew it was a keeper. Compared it to my dx format d5500 and the d850 feels like a real camera. Well worth it and can’t wait to learn more about photography with it.

My wife is a photographer and she was using the Nikon D5500. The image quality is beyond fantastic. If you're passionate about photography, this is the one (especially if you're sticking with Nikon). The results of her photos are amazing! Can't recommend this enough

Excellent camera. This was an upgrade from my Nikon D7000 which I’ve had since 2006 or somewhere there abouts. I was able to use all of my Nikon lenses and flash and everything worked flawlessly. Looking forward to more adventures and shooting with this camera.
