NEVER GOING BACK!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just upgraded from my Nikon D7000. I’ve had my 7000 for 10+ years and used it faithfully. The minute I picked up the 850... it was like a whole new world. This camera is breathtaking. I just purchased a Tamron 35mm to go with it and I’m in love. Best purchase ever.

Worth upgrading
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera has a better shutter release feel and picture is superior to my D800. To fully utilize the data capture upgrade your most used lenses. Miss the buit-in flash though. Weight is comfortable. Menu controls are easier to navigate too.

Awesome machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A purchase I had been waiting to make, totally worth it. A take-it-to-the-next-level machine, for sure. Perfect for the shooting I do- nature photography- with a lot of birding. Fast. Awesome crop-factor. Thrilled with this camera.

Love this professional camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing camera! Nikon filled it with versatility. I shot with a D750 which is also an excellent camera but wow, I love the D850! I am a versatile shooter and this camera rocks. I shoot realty, sports, landscapes, and portraits here and there. Price is a bit high but not over priced.

Great camera but you need time time time to learn
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not a geek so I needed help to program this beast. But it is a great camera. Great dynamic range. Fast shooting. You need to choose right focusing. I didn’t so some grab shots out of focus. Watch teaching videos. Battery good for 1900 shots. File size bigger than 47 megapixels advertised

Staying with the DSLR over converting to mirrorles
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent DSLR camera, and a perfect step up from the D750. Controls very similar, easy learning curve. The value of this camera is that all my FX Nikon G lenses fit perfectly and interface seamlessly. The choice was this camera or a mirrorless to get the 45Megapixel sensor. The deciding factor was that all my lenses fit and work as intended. With a mirrorless, I'd lose some functional easy with an adapter, or have to buy all new lenses. This made it an easy choice to stay with the DSLR.

Love this camera
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The detail on my photos is amazing. I found the autofocus is better than my D810. I like that I can use my smartphone as a remote.

Love !
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this camera. I had been researching and window shopping for 3 years to get a new camera. This does not disappoint. The images are crystal clear and the color is amazing.

Best DSLR at the moment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best DSLR on the market at the moment. Don't hesitate, get one if you're interested. Just make sure you use quality glass. You'll love the images you get from this new sensor. Just make sure your technique is good as the high MP sensor will show all flaws. Buffer is something that I'm not too happy about. Shooting in 14 bits uncompressed RAW will give u about 20-30 images, nowhere near the # Nikon showed. Change it to 12bits, this # will jump to 40-50. If you dont mind then its the only way to go. Make sure you use an XQD card and a fast SD. It worth it.

Best decision
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my nikon d750 for this great camera and so far i love it! Best decision... but if you are looking to use it for remote pictures or want to download the pics at moment for social media the new snapbridge is terrible! But i do not used often so it does not affect my workflow!

Great camera!!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Actually amazing! It is heavy, especially with the lens on. One thing I missed on this is the built in flash.... Not understanding why they did not add it onto this model or the new D780.... That looks like an amazing camera as well.

Just amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to admit I am not a professional photographer so I’m still learning the ropes of the camera. However, the little that I have learned and seen the results of the photography, this camera is the best I have ever owned. I love the seven FPS shooting speed. The auto focus is amazing and accurate. And the colors are breathtaking. I love the dynamic reach that I get in the photograph and I can recover a lot using the raw photographs that I take. Plus full frame gives me a really good coverage. And the optical viewfinder is the biggest that I’ve ever seen. Finally, but not the least, the camera is very ergonomically designed and I’m able to access most of the options from the device body itself without going through menu. All in all. Superb camera.

Not ready to go mirrorless yet...
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best DSLR camera made! Not an entry level camera but excellent pro level camera. There is a learning curve but once mastered, the D850 will be your favorite camera too.

Yes, it was finally time to upgrade.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My last Nikon was an F2. This one does incredibly well. A cmos sensor of this size can render amazing resolution. From Astrophotography to landscapes and wildlife, it will do it all, I think.
