It is an amazing camera, I use it for astro photography, but be aware that it is heavier than its predecessors.

The 850 is most likely Nikon’s last DSLR camera. It is very fast, easy to use if you’ve owned Nikon cameras in the past.

Used a lot of Nikon cameras and have plenty of lenses. I shot sports from high school to D1 Football this is great camera upgrade from my D750. Had a bit of await but got one now. Shooting D1 Basketball tonight and can't wait to test the ISO performance.

I just love this camera, I was told there is a learning curve and that I might have a hard time using it. This camera is perfect. I haven't found it to be any difficult to use. Very happy with the purchase.

The resolution on this camera and all the features make it a hands down winner..Just remember with all the resolution your technique must be excellent or the camera will show it and make sure you get some high quality lens.

This has been and still is the VERY best DSLR put out for photographers. I still pick this one up over my mirrorless.

I really like my new D850, I upgraded from a d750 and much enjoy the quicker focusing as well as increased resolution, especially in low light!

Truly a marvel of engineering. probably Nikon’s best effort when it comes to a DSLR. Maybe the only one (slightly) better is the D5. BB was price competitive and delivered on time. No complaints here.

What can I say.... As known this is considered one of the best DSLR cameras of all time and I would agree. I got this camera in perfect condition and Bestbuy delivered flawlessly.

Purchased as a second body for an upcoming wedding. Put it through some tests with landscapes and so far it has blown me away. Great dynamic range. Easy to use. Fits nicely in my hand. Would highly recommend.

I love this camera. But I am not comparing it to any of the Z models or more expensive models, just on it's own merits. Do yourself a favor and watch some youtube videos to learn all the functions well as well as some of the things that may not be clear in the manual. I only gave it 3 stars for ease of use, not because there are any issues, only because there is SO MUCH to this camera and it's extensive menus, you really have to take the time to learn it, although it may not be a big deal coming from another Nikon in recent years.

I bought this for my son who is a real enthusiast. The shots I've seen are remarkably clear and I'm told is a standout in low light conditions. It requires a different lens than the older D7000 which add quality to the shots.
