Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the exceptional camera quality, ease of use, and high resolution of the D850 DSLR. Many also praise its impressive low-light performance and long battery life, while noting its extensive features. However, some find the camera's weight and size to be substantial, and the price point relatively high. A learning curve is also mentioned by a few users.

I’m a wedding photographer and this baby is amazing! I used to use the d750 and this is 1,000x better (which is saying a lot because I loved my 750). I love the toggle button for the focus and the ISO button makes it super easy to change settings fast.

The Nikon 850 is an excellent DSLR camera. I say this because it can be used in so many different ways and with so many different types of photography. I would recomment this camera any professional or hobbyist.

Not many shots so far. It's very fast (focus, writing to SDXC card). Lots to learn. (very familiar ergonomics for me, just way more menu options) Cool that the ISO button is so close to shutter release. (one hand ISO changes!) SnapBridge support to iOS via Bluetooth and WiFi support.

Great professional camera! Love the full frame capabilities. Even though I have owned & used Nikon for years, there is a big learning curve to become familiar with all of its functions

I've only had it a short while to be honest, but so far, love it. It is perfect for what I needed. I needed a good still and video and it is great so far. I'm moving from Canon to Nikon so things are in different places but I really love the touch led screen for menus and stuff.

I have a Nikon D850 already, but my shooting partner has been using it more than I, so I decided to get my own and let her have the other. Camera works fantastic, just as the other. Fast shutter speed and the cache doesn't fill up. Love it!

Amazing camera! While I miss my built in flash, the sensitivity of this camera limits the number of times that I would have used a flash.

The Nikon D850 is possibly the best camera available for pros or amateurs wanting the larger file size as well as the lower cost compared to the D5.

The Nikon D850 is the upgrade to the D810 which I have used before. Most of the upgrades are good so far, but the reason I made this purchase was due to my last D850 having a shutter issue in cold weather... so it's mostly positive, but not sure how well it does in freezing temperatures.

I’ve had this camera for about 3 weeks and realized there’s a lot of information I’m going to have learn. I was lucky enough to already have a collection of lenses so I invested in this body. But I didn’t realize how complex the camera really is. That shouldn’t discourage you from buying one, just be willing to commit to learning about the camera.

Still learning how to get the best out of this beast but it is awesome. The pixel count lets you crop a very long way. Get quality glass and this will serve you for a decade.
