This is a second battery I bought as a backup for my D7100. I have been pleasantly surprised by the length of time it holds a charge - much better than the prior Nikon DSLR I owned.

Holds a good charge. Perfect for having a charged back up battery when out shooting and your battery dies with no electric plug to recharge. Perfect!

An extra battery is a must have when shooting photos. You never want to run out of power while on a photo shoot and this battery is the way to go.

As noted, I'm disappointed that the battery can not be interchanged with previous design. Battery has good charge length and moderately fast charge rate.

The battery is reliable and powerful. I never have to worry about recharging on a long days shooting. It costs a bit more, but it is worth every cent.

I only use Nikon batteries in all my Nikon cameras. They are heavy duty and I find them to be very reliable. And fast to recharge.

If you require a dependable battery, always go with OEM. I shoot weddings and it's crucial to not have any hiccups with batteries.

got a couple of extra batteries for my Nikon d500 which is highly recommended anyway to go for unlimited hours of shooting in a day.
