The battery works fine but later I learned that if I got the battery grip I could upgrade batteries to EL18 which I did. I can still use the EL15 batteries though in the camera for backup power.

I was able to purchase these Genuine Nikon Batteries at a great price as a result of Best Buy's price match policy. The Genuine Nikon Batteries are definitely the way to go. I've tried several generic brand batteries and have always had problems with them. Not a single problem with any of my Genuine Nikon Batteries.

Too soon to tell how well the battery will perform, I always buy a backup for shooting while traveling. I was disappointed in having to buy a different charger and was not advised to do when buying the camera body.

I've purchased generic versions of these batteries before, but they never fail to meet up to the brand name version. They either don't last as long as they claim nor carry as many charges. This is one product that I'll stick with the Nikon version of.

I used only original Nikon product for my DSLR camera. I put it to a test, With charge after charge from 3 batterys for 6hrs of Video & Photo.

Always need an extra battery for my camera. It was unfortunate that I had to tell the associate that they had the battery in stock and it would work with a D800. Anyway, all is well.

if you do photography on the go there is nothing like being prepared this spare battery allows you do that. keeps a charge and stay ready.

Battery works well on my D500. No issues. It's a little expensive but from what I heard clone batteries don't work on the Nikon D500.

This is a genuine Nikon battery. I've used generic Nikon battery replacement batteries and all I can say is that the "real" Nikon battery holds a longer charge than a fake, knock off. Spend the extra $10 to $15 for the real deal!

This is the only battery the Nikon D800 takes .. Best buy has it for 69.99 but other retails have it for 59.99. Got Best Buy to price match it.
