Glad Nikon is given this adapter free since they haven't introduced very many lenses for the Z6. Easy to use.

Great to use existing lenses, but focus is manual in the lenses I have.

This adaptor makes all my older Nikon lenses compatible with the Z7. No loss of of prior lens investments. The price was reduced significantly with a Nikon rebate. I don't leave home without FTZ Mount Adaptor.

This adapter exceeded my expectations. I knew it would work like Nikon year typically does but what I didn’t plan on is how seamless the transition in lens performance is between a native lens and a legacy lens with this adapter!

This is a must have for any Nikon Z owners. AF-S lenses work perfectly. AF-D lenses do not have auto-focus, but the Z's rangefinder works great, plus exposure is automatic.

I got my FTZ for free with my Z6 so it was a no brainer. My father who shot Nikon for years gave me some nice AF lenses from the 1980’s to try out on it. The image quality is great but it’s really a bummer these don’t support auto focus with older lenses... Very useful if your a Nikon shooter with lots of glass who’s looking to transition to mirrorless.

i'm g lol ad Nikon elected to make an adapter to provide for using DX lens on Z6 as it makes migration from DX to FX less painful but beware you don't get full frame resolution advantage with DX lenses

Works as expected. Good idea to purchase this, when you buy the camera, so the price is more reasonable. It will give you more flexibility, in terms of buying lenses.

Use all your Nikon lenses with this adapter. I Had great time using all my lenses. I can see some differences between using this adapter and the z6 and running on my other Nikon digital body’s.

Very interesting device to utilise the classic lenses, although a little bulky to use.

Now I can use all my lenses!!! I understand this is a veeeery expensive item, to a mechanical one. But just to be sure I bought it. It’s work very fine!!!

I got this mount for my new mirrorless camera so I could continue to use my older lenses and so far it has been great. Very solid fit and would highly recommend.

This lens adapter makes it possible to use your older lenses with the new larger mount of the Z series cameras. Auto focus seems to only work with AFS lenses however.

My only complaint so far is that there is no autofocus motor built into the mount adapter. What that means is that my D series Nikon lenses lost their auto focus capability. So now I have to work on my focusing skills, which is a challenge with my old eyes. So if you have D series or older lenses with no autofocus motor in the lens, you will have to manually focus with those lenses.

Nothing much to say here other than you'll need this if you have older Nikkor lenses you want to use on the Z7. All my existing lenses performed as expected

It opens up the opportunity to use a large variety of different "F" lenses on my Z50 which at this time still has a limited number of lenses available.

The smartest thing Nikon did was to provide this adapter to allow user to use their old lenses on their new cameras. Works great with no noticeable downside.

it's handy when you have a lot of DX lense with D mount.

Its better than dropping a ton of money on all new lenses. I still plan on getting Z mount lenses in the future, but this is great!
