I’ve never gotten this to work. Now, of course it’s too late to return. Maybe it’s not even supposed to work on my camera?

Salesman assured us that it would work with our newly purchased Nikon DSLR camera but it did not. We depended on the salesman to know the products and the compatability, but that didn't happen.

I thought this would work with the D5600 since it works with the D5500 but does not. You can use the snapbridge app as a remote with the D5600

I recently returned this item because it's not compatible with my camera. So I've been using the self timer which works perfectly fine.

Will not work with my Nikon P900 but stated it would. Tried all the solutions with no luck.

Two words: No sirve.. I even test it in another D3400, nothing.

This is a must for any camera that has the ability for wireless operation

This Nikon wireless remote was purchased for use with my Nikon D3100 digital SLR camera. The wireless remote makes all those shots that are timed and that you want to be in so much easier to take. No cables to hassle with or trip over. Just set up the camera and with a push of the button the picture is taken. Much more secure than using a remote with wires. If you pull to hard or to far you might knock the whole camera over. A great item to add to your camera bag!

The only downside is you have to point it at the front of the camera. So, if you don't want to be in the picture you need to stand so you can still have the IR sensor in its sight which can be slightly annoying for some situations. Otherwise, this is a cheap remote. You can always buy the wifi adapter which is a little more pricey but that has its issues as well.

This is the first time I've used a remote with my camera. It works, but I have found it pretty limited. The 16' range seemed like it would be enough but it isn't. That's my problem though, not the remote's, so I didn't remove stars for that. My two major complaints are the speed and responsiveness. It is horrible with autofocus and impossible to use while trying to do kids portraits. If you want an immediate shot you're going to have to focus manually. And it has to be pointed directly at the camera, like even when it's 2 inches away from the camera it still has to be pointed directly at the camera from just the right angle. It makes it kind of hard to do self-portraits with those problems so the only thing I've really been able to use it for so far is close-up studio work with jewelry to eliminate camera shake.

This is very useful especially when you absolutely need to minimize the even the smallest bit of shake from clicking the shutter.

I love this! When I found out that this product I wanted to make sure when I purchase a new Nikon I would get this, to make sure when taking a picture everyone is included. Also, I leave my camera on connected to the tripod, and at times I would take a picture by using this remote control without anyone seeing, great way to capture everyone at their best... and worst.

Purchased this for my Nikon D7000. No instructions needed, it's that easy to use. Just switch your dial to remote mode and done! It's compact and will be perfect to use when shooting children portraits! I will be testing it this weekend with my DIY photobooth setup. Do not hesitate to buy this product, it's worth every penny!

Amazing how easy it is to set up. Just go to shooting mode and select the remote. Now that I have one, I don't know how I got on without it. And for under $20? Are you kidding? Great deal.

I purchased this remote for my Nikon D3200 and found it to work well. The remote was easy enough to set up with the on-camera menus. It seems to have a slight delay or no reaction if the remote is used exactly in line with the camera. Otherwise I would have given it a 5 star review.

I purchased this remote too little too late after I tried using the self timer at a party I was hosting. Needless to say I should have purchased this remote BEFORE the party but now I can use it in the future. One note to future buyers with a D750 is that you have to enable the remote in the menu settings each time you turn the camera on and off. Other than that it works out the box.

This is a useful accessory for someone who takes a lot of group photos.

Best Buy was very helpful with this product. When I originally discovered it my camera model was not listed. After calling support they confirmed it would work. Once I received it, I love it. It works great for family pics when everyone is setting their timers I just keep hitting the remote button. It's also great for taking pics when the camera needs to be perfectly still. Enjoy.
