It works ok. The range is ok, but it needs to stay in line of sight

The wireless shutter release works great. It requires no setup except to change the shooting type on the camera. Point click and shoot, it's as easy as that. You will not be disappointed.

Have a new Nikon d5100 still trying to figure the camera out, bought the remote, becasue the 4th was coming up after figuring out how the camera worked off the remote, shot two different fire works shows the remote was great, to reduce camera shake and to use on bulb setting

i use this remote to take family pictures. it's a better option than the self timer that the camera includes. the price is low enough to make it a worth addition to my camera equipment.

Took it out of the box and started using it within seconds. Wife wanted me to get one for family portraits and I wanted it for long exposures. My only problem is that I waited so long to finally order it.

It's a simple device yet very useful. It beats setting the timer on the camera then running back.

Ok so was reading reviews and some say that is not a good remote. Well what I found out is RocketFish sells this remote for about 1/2 of the price but it DONT work right. So buy this one. It is made for the camera. Also make sure that your camera number is listed for use of this remote. For example mine is a D40x and is listed. It is a great remote. If you can find it for less money then buy for less money or expect to spend 30.00. Mine was only 5.25 but I had reward zone certificates that totaled 25.00. Also there is no pairing to worry about. Just take it out of the box set your camera for remote shooting and works like a charm.

I was very surprised how easy this was to "set up." I simply took the remote out of the box, selected the appropraite options on my Nikon D5100 (remote shutter release option), then the remote synced up on its own. I did not have to do any sycing myself, which was great. Extremely user-friendly and easy to use. Great product!

Overall good product. I would have paid a few bucks more for a more sure shutter response....bigger battery or better IR lens.

I was skeptical that this remote would work because it was so cheap. I really wanted a wired remote but they don't make one compatible with my camera (Nikon D50). This remote worked great. I put my camera on a tri-pod and was shooting from approximately 3 ft away. I was not always pointing the remote directly at the camera and was afraid the wireless would not work, but it did.

I love this item. I just wish they had sold it in the store. I had to order it online. Works great.:)

Bought this for my D3300 over the weekend for some astrophotography and it worked great.

I can now get in the shot and take a picture that I want. It was very easy to use and I would recommend it to anyone.
