The perfect unit to provide improved lighting as a stand alone attached strobe. Its compact size allows it to be easily included in the camera bag.

I am okay with this flash, it isn't very powerful. You cannot balance out with the sun for example. However it does get the job done for events and two of them are sufficient enough to light a group of 12 for some commerical/event shots. It is however VERY delicate. I have over heated this flash on more than one occasion and have had it get stuck with an over heat warning light on and had to submit it in for repair. I am more of the mindset of forgetting flashes these days and grabbing some profotos.

Worked great and my kids loved it. The charge works great and it is small enough to keep in my bag.

Love this flash -- need a battery pack for faster recycling, but overall I'm very happy with it!!!

I was ready for SB-910 over the 700 at a $200 higher price. A sales associate made me realize the extra mont was essentially 20 ft more of brightness. I bought the SB-700 and have not looked back. Im very happy with my purchase.

This is a great flash for the price. It comes with the diffuser and filters, all stored in a handy case. Instructions are good, though could be better for novice flash users. Sturdy construction for the flash, but save the packing inside the case to keep the filters from scratching each other.

Good product for beginners. Ample power for taking good photos, i am using this flash with my d700.

In using the nikon sb 700 flash, it has made an immense difference in the photos I take. I'm in love! Prior to this purchase I was board with my camera and just plain disappointed! Now I'm back at it, really loving the outcome!

This is a great flash - I use mostly the bounce-flash at home, and this flash has a rotating flash so I can get the right angle when i am shooting pointing down. Beautiful results - a good strong flash makes all the difference in your indoor photos.

Got this for my black Friday D750. A good compliment that can also be used off camera.

Using at a small newspaper for indoor basketball shots and late night football. Works great!

This is first external flash. So I'm still learning how to use it. But so far I love the way some pictures come out. especially indoor with low light. I like that you can rotate the flash to bounce of the ceiling.

Overall great speedlight, that's doesn't consume batteries constantly. I love the quality of my pictures even more now. I would definitely purchase another. Great for beginners. You will not be disappointed in this investment.

I had my doubts about this model coming from the SB-900, but this flash delivers. Exposures are great right out of the box & wow, the TTL is perfect every time. Close or far, the flash knows how much power to apply.

BOUGHT ONE A FEW YEARS AGO AND LOVED IT. NOW I HAVE ANOTHER AND USE AS OFF CAMERA SPEEDLIGHT WITH PHOTTIX RADIO TRIGGERS...MENU IS MORE INTUITIVE AND EASY TO SET UP THAN OLDER SB-600 FLASHES...JUST FEELS RIGHT ON CAMERA BODY..NOT TOO HEAVY...GOOD JOB NIKON!

I like the flash, It's a step up from my SB-600 and has many more features. Hopefully some day I will learn how to use all of them.
