This was another freebie with the package. In reading through the instructions it doesn't appear to work with apple products.

I have not had any problems with this wireless adapter, but I've only used a few times. When I have used it I noticed it is just a little bit slow (but not to bad).

I ended up having to return the item unopened because I could not verify that it was appropriate for my Nikon camera. The packaging indicated that the Nikon website would have an updated list of cameras that use this item. I found that difficult to use and unclear as to whether my camera (D3X) would accept this device. Would have appreciated more help from salesperson and/or Nikon. I am sure the device itself is a quality product as I only use Nikon equipment which I consider superb.

It was a little hard for me to figure out how to get the phone and camera connected. Once I figured that out, it was nice to have photos put right on my phone.

It was always a pain to share pictures from my D7100. Need to pull the SD cards out and then transfer the devices to my laptop to share with family. I am so glad I bought this device. The camera is now connected to wifi and can download images on my android phone and share them instantly.

This is a great little gadget to use when out with friends, I don't have to go home & upload my photos and remember who to send them to once I get home. The connection gets loose once in a while and if you are uploading photos to your smart phone you will have to start over if connection was lost, but for the most part, it's a great little bonus. I'm sure one day SOON Nikon will just integrate this into their camera.

The adapter works but the software is horrible and it won't connect to the wifi on my computer. You have to use the stupid app from Nikon that works with your phone. I don't really see how this helps at all unless you just really have to upload a picture to twitter or Facebook this second. Wait until you get home and use the cable. If it wasn't free I'd have returned it. Almost useless.

This is a convenient addition to your DSLR kit that allows you to share pictures quickly and use your phone as a remote shutter release with live view.

I bought this to compliment my D5200 on our Hawaiian vacation. I figured it would allow me to shoot both my wife and I in pictures together. It worked pretty good, the app was easy enough to figure out. My only issues were that for some reason it would not pair up all the time or drop the connection from time to time.

I am a Nikon D3200 owner. I have 4 different lens packages, tripods, monopod, stands, back drops, multiple SB 710 and SB 900 flashes but this little guy stoled the show last week at a Westcott lighting class I was taking. It seems the D3200 developers kit was never released by Nikon so their are no teathering options for the camera. When I saw this little thing I thought why not. Some of the shots I take are static portraits or wild life so I used some BestBuy dollars to help with the cost. Boy did I make the smart decision. During my class the instructor had a Cannon 5D Mk II teathered to a mac book and Lightroom. I was taking the same photos with my WU-1A and they were on my iPad before his first one was showing up on his mac. All the Nikon users in the room gathered around to see how it worked. And it did! They were quite impressed and asked where I purchased it. Of course I said BestBuy (even though I was in a camera store in Westwood). If you have a D3200 this is your only option for teathering or remote live view unless Nikon parts with the SDK. So if your on the fence, don;t be. Buy it. You'll like it!

The Nikon - Wu-1a does what it is expected to do. I bought it for smartphone control of the camera and am not as interested in moving photos to the smartphone. It is a little cumbersome. I have it on the camera strap and have to open the control cover and plug it in to use. It juts out of the control area and the control cover is jammed open.

I used to use my phone and camera both to take pictures of every event, etc. since it was easier to share on Facebook, send to others through email or text pics using the camera on my phone. Now, I can take great pictures on my new, high quality camera, then easily download to my phone. Incidentally, they then sync through photo stream to my ipad too! You can pick and choose what you want to download, AND you can use it as a remote control for the camera to take pics as well. No more setting up the timer and running to my spot! You don't need wifi either, which I love. This is a great product!

This little thing is amazingly fast! Plug it in and send, share and upload photos on the go. Sent the gf a pic of a Sundew that I came across in a Boreal bog and she got it in a matter of moments. This will see much use in the years to come!
