Software Problems?

I see a lot of complaints about that online, and it might just be that Nikon hasn't devoted a lot of time fixing the software to maintain a connection. I actually try not to use this because of the connectivity issues. It's too bad because the concept is a great idea, execution however is not.

Try to download pictures off my camera to my phone and all it does is kill my galaxy s8 battery life and then tells me camera disconnected. I have my phone on top of the camera why can this thing not stay connected?????? Wish i still had the packaging to return this piece of junk.
