The experience of shooting with this camera is amazing. If you are someone who enjoys shooting manual mode and really taking control of your camera, this is an excellent choice. If you are possibly interested in Fujifilm, this provides a full frame alternative that is worth checking out.

I returned this camera and bought a different camera. The store employee made the whole process real easy.

Camera ships without a charger. The new USB-C protocol requires the use of a newer PD type charger. If you use an older USB-C port, it won’t communicate and won’t charge the battery via the only way it ships to you, via the camera. I had to ask online in the forums and then order a USB-C PD block so was able to use it after a few days. Meanwhile it was just a fancy brick on my desk.

The nikon zf is the best thing that happened to a mirrorless digital retro camera look that became so popular that it was out of stock anywhere, until I found out best buy had stocks of the camera and quickly got it in a matter of days! Love how great this camera is

Exactly what I was looking for, to get started with photography

First, I'll begin with the dislikes. The grip on this camera is very small and it's difficult to hold. Small Grip, the company, sells the added grip for better handling, but not as deep as the Z5, Z6II or Z7II. The second is the weight. It's not a light camera. It doesn't bother me, but for anyone that may be "weaklings" may have a hard time using this camera throughout the day. The third is no LCD display on top of the camera to view camera settings like the Z6/Z7/Z8/Z9. What I like about this camera is the articulating screen, the 24MP full frame sensor, the build quality (it's solid) , the retro look, the brass dials to manually change the settings, the two card slots, the high ISO performance, the fast Expeed 7 processor in this camera (same is used in the Z8 and Z9), and of course, the autofocus system. The autofocus system is outstanding for this camera, especially the 3D tracking that's useful for both still shots and video. The autofocus system performs better than the Z6II and Z7II, and very close to the autofocus system of the Z8 and Z9, the flagship cameras. It is fun to use and image quality is fantastic. All of this for $2,000? That's a great price for so many features. I highly recommend this camera.

Absolutely in Love with this Camera. I have been waiting for Nikon to release something like this for so long. I you are coming from Fujifilm, this one could be for you. In love with the speed and high tech inside this beauty. Great for my personal work, and yet more than capable of producing professional work. Paired with the wonderful Nikon S line lenses, this camera becomes a trade master. Need I say anything more about its looks!?

The zf has changed the way I approach photography. The ability to use “dumb” lenses while enjoying modern focusing features is amazing. Due to this, I am using adapted lenses only on this camera, Leica M and Nikon F to be specific.

Absolultely love this camera and am so grateful that Best Buy delivered it within a week since a lot of people are waiting over a month to get it. Can't recommend the camera and Best Buy enough!

I am thrilled with the Nikon F. I've shot Nikon for over 25 years and this beautiful camera didn't disappoint. If a camera could be a BFF, this is for sure it!

Bought and returned. Here’s why. For anyone that is used to a traditional Nikon body, with a substantial grip, and using substantial lenses, you are going to find that this camera is much smaller than the lenses that are available for it. The effect is that the camera is unbalanced in your hand, and aesthetically bizarre. I have no doubt that for the street photographer, using the SE lenses (28 mm or 40 mm), and replacing their Fuji, this will be a dream. But the moment that you put a Z mount S or Plena lens on this camera you are going to wish you had a different body! I bought a Z# body instead.

I paid full price for this brand new camera less than 5 months ago and already the shutter has stopped working multiple times and the camers has froze. I contacted Nikon and they said i have to pay for the repair!!! I will never buy a nikon again!! Buy canon!! I never had any trouble with any canon camera and the first nikon i buy and this happens!
