This teleconverter seamlessly and instantly doubles the reach of Zlenses (e.g., 200mm becomes 400mm) while increasing the f stop by 2 (e.g., f/2.8 becomes f/5.6).
It weighs a little bit (about 9.6oz/270g) so the weight does not bother me.
I use this with Z6III + 70mm-200mm f/2.8 S, and I love the extra reach this teleconverter provides. With only 2 stops of light loss from f/2.8, the aperture is wide enough that I can take photos in a relatively low light condition with faster shutter speed.
It is compatible with only certain Z lenses (I think S-line Z lenses), so the product is not for everybody, but if you have a 70mm-200m f/2.8 S and are interested in reaching further subjects, this one is for you.

Absolutely love the teleconverter. The drop in speed is worth the extra reach. We actually like it so much, we bought a second one so we didn't have to switch it out while we were both out on the water shooting.

This teleconverter works great for my Nikon 70-180mm f2.8 lens. Since it's a x2 teleconverter, it turns my lens to a 140-360mm. Be advised that the largest aperture for this lens is F5.6 when using the teleconverter. It may not be best used in low light. Also, before considering this teleconverter, make sure the lens or lenses you have are compatible to attach to it. There's a small handful of lenses that can be used with this teleconverter. The list of compatible lenses can be found at the Nikon USA website.

I've owned teleconverters before and have never been happy with them.... until now! I read the reviews and decided it was time to try again! So glad I did! Love the added reach it gives me! Sharp images. The only downfall is you lose 2 stops of light. Because of the design, this will only work on limited number of lenses.

Purchased this for a Nikon z50 to add extra range to a Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2.8 S. This will not work with Nikon mirrorless DX lens it only fits s line. It is really impressive clarity and zoom. Will be using this for high school outdoor sports photography.

This teleconverter was purchased to extend the range for our Nikkor Z70-200mm S and Z100-400mm S lenses on our Z9 and Z8 cameras. We use it to capture birds in flight. The quality of the images is striking.

Exactly what I needed for a trip out west. Teleconverter helped with the reach I needed for wildlife and landscape pictures. Small and compact, and easily connected to Nikon Z6II. Loss of clarity in quality of pictures (some have reported) is very hard to notice. Highly recommended.

Excellent purchase. Use with Z6 ii and Nikon 70-180
2.8 to photograph night high school football. Like the additional reach and camera handles the 2 stop loss very well.

Losses two stop of aperture. Still waiting on the Z 100-400 to become available. I believe the Z 70-200 f2.8 is the only released lens that can use this. As I have not been able to use it, I cannot comment on the quality. But it was on sale and I jumped on it, cause these things basically never go on sale.

Feels sturdy, well built. I have never been a 2.0xTC fan but picked this up due to peoples love for this new Z architecture. Can't wait to get this on the 100-400 S and see if peoples reactions for this TC are warranted. (I'll update this review later if the the TC doesn't perform as expected)

Great addition to my Nikon mirrorless camera. Essentially doubles the focal length of my 70-200mm telephoto lens up to 400mm for great wildlife close-ups. Focus is very sharp.

Super sharp and perfect upgrade to my 70-200 z lens. BestBuy is the only place I have seen these in stock and is becoming my goto for camera equipment. When buying from Amazon you have no idea who is actually selling the item or where it’s coming from. I trust Bestbuy.

I use this on my Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 amd notice zero image degradation. Crazy sharp with decent light because it does add 2 stops of light to the f/2.8 making it f/5.6z

This is an amazing teleconverter for use with my Nikon Z 70-200 2.8!!!
Image quality is better than expected, almost as good as a non-converter added lense!
