We purchased this as one of a few cameras to use for video streaming and podcasting. Unfortunately it didn't have enough features so we are only using Nikon Z5 cameras.

I LOVE IT!!! One of my best investments. 4K,touch screen, mirrorless. And that’s just some of the features.

It is a start-up mirror-less video camera that is a little difficult for beginners to handle at first.

Love it... Although base... Using a ftz adapter can help utilize older f mount lenses

It is a very good camera. It replaced an older Nikon and seems to be as reliable as the first one I had for years.

I am a long time Nikon guy and bought into the Z system early on. I bought the Z50 to complement my Z6. I found it slow and clunky and it sometimes freezes up. It is great for video and low light. Now that the z5 is out go for full frame. I know lots of folks love this camera, Just not me. Maybe the z6 spoiled me. Sold it on line because I wouldn't recommend to a friend

I had to exchange because the lens would not link with the camera. The focus is very mediocre at best. In fact my Pixel 5 takes a better picture, yes you read that right. I had to return it. Not happy at all with this Nikon.

This is a great camera. You can add batteries for a low cost if you need them. There are endless accessories you can purchase with this camera but I would highly suggest adding a bag to carry this around.

I bought the Z50 with the two lens kit. I had trouble loading the photos onto my iMac, and learned that first I had to update my software to OS 10.13 High Sierra. I then had to update my Nikon View NX-i software. Despite these two updates, files from my Z50 may or may not load onto my iMac. Worse still, files from my D500 exhibit the same problem, especially with my RAW files. Both RAW and JPEG files from my D750 are not affected, however. While the Z50 and two lens kit makes a great walk-around camera, the software difficulties are exasperating. This is a work in progress.....

Love this camera and its quality but its battery life is sub par at best.
