I’m not sure why this is considered a budget camera when it punches way above its weight class!

Ive shot aps-c (nikon z50) for years and wanted to break into full frame finally. I couldnt be happier with the z5ii. Paired with solid glass, the performance is incredible. Nikons late to the game but the auto focus is finally on par with comparable models from canon and sony. Highly recommend

Looked at a lot of different mirrorless cameras for under $2,000 and this is by far the best deal. It's essentially a Nikon Z f but with better ergonomics for a few hundred less. Not as cool looking though.

Love the camera. Its so versatile and makes the most amazing photos - it left my other digital cameras in the dust. I personally could use a hard copy user manual for when I'm off in areas without cell coverage.

This is a great intuitive camera and, an excellent entry into full frame options. I don't think you can go wrong with it considering what this has to offer.

This is my first Z series camera. After watching and reading a number of reviews, I was hoping this would provide the auto focus and higher ISO sensitivity I desired. So far it has lived up to its advertised quality for still photography. I've used FT3, FM2, D70, D700 and D810. And this is a marvelous camera.

Very good camera with Z6III, Z8 level autofocus on an entry level camera body. What more do you want!!!!

Honestly this was a great starter camera with so many features. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

I bought the Z5ii for a smaller travel camera to go along with my Z8/Z9 and am continually impressed by the performance in this camera. It offers most of the functionality and features of the Z8/Z9 bodies. It is way more capable than the price suggests. I use it for so much more than I originally intended.

Was hesitant to buy but so glad I did, it is so much better than theD90

Coming from a Nikon DSLR, I’ve been impressed with the Z5ii image quality, light weight, and focus speed. Very glad I’ve gone mirrorless!!

The Z5II is a great improvement over the Z6II and Z5. The autofocus speed and accuracy is much better and there are so many more improvements they are too numerous to list. I highly recommend this camera for it’s entry level price but high end features and performance.

The uptick in dynamic range capture capabilites is very apparent when editing improperly exposed photos. I was awed that even with that plus, the photos didn't take on an odd tint which is typical with some other Nikons.
