Customers are enthusiastic about the 12-Cup Coffee Maker's coffee quality and ease of use. Many appreciate the removable water reservoir and overall performance. While the design and timer are liked by some, a few customers find the price and size to be a drawback, and have noted the noise level and filter performance.

My dad loved it, great quality and easy to use and store.

I’ve been using a percolator for years, and I’ve had several different brewing methods for a long time.. I thought a “standard” drip brewer wouldn’t make “good tasting” coffee… I was wrong!! My brother has a Bona Vita and this makes a better tasting cup of coffee.

I've recently purchased this to replace an old Cuisinart coffee maker. So far it seems to make a consistent good cup of coffee -- my typical use is around 6-7 cups, and usually set it up in the evening to automatically start the brew the next morning.
I do like the removable water fill container/reseveroir -- similar to some of the Keurig machines; it no longer need to find a separate jug to fill the reservoir.
Also, this built-in measuring spoon is a nice touch, very handy.
The unit seems quite solidly built.
With several weeks of use, here are some quirks--
1. Depending on how you fill the reservoir, it may be off by 1/2 a cup. When you take the reservoir out to fill and place it back in the maker, you'll notice that the water level will drop 1/2 cup as it dispenses inside the maker ; so if you fill the reservoir while it is on the machine, you might end up putting more water in that what is indicated by the lines on the container.
2. Strangely the glass carafe doesn't clean as easily as my other coffee maker -- needs extra scrubbing to get the stains out. Not sure why.
3. The carafe top doesn't snap on like most makers -- in order to close the top, you need to offset it, push down and rotate it (think bayonet mounts). My wife and mother-in-law can not get this closed correctly half of the time.
4. More of a note, the coffee basket is accessed via a flip top. So if you've got this maker on the counter under some cabinets, you may need to always pull this unit out to put in the filter & coffee as it needs at least another 7" of height to flip it open.
5. The smallish power button is a bit stiff, you'll need one hand to hold the maker in place while pushing the button.

We bought this to replace a pot that was on its last legs. It has exceeded our expectations. Functions are easy to see and use. Side water holder is great, and beats having to lift pot lid to pour water in back. No spills now. Highly recommend.

This is my second Ninja Coffemaker. First one lasted 4 years. This makes a great coffee. I like that it can schedule turn on time and has automatic shut off (different from my previous one). The flavor is always good and doesn't compare to some other well known coffee makers.

Really great coffee maker. I use a regular sized cermaic mug, I can get around 4 cups per serving with the water tank just short of full. Thats perfect for what I wanted to use it for. The settings and features are good. I bought it with average expectations and no experience with other pot coffee makers. However, I think this is better valued at $70. Maybe $80.

We had a cheap coffee machine after coming back from Germany and we were always disappointed with the taste. It is amazing how good the coffee tastes and you can also choose between classic brew and rich brew. Really loving the rich brew, although the classic is great too, but loving the rich better for my family.

had a cusinart coffee maker that finally went out on us. went to best buy website to check-out what was available. after checking available items for what we needed we chose the ninja 12 cup. since receiving and using the ninja 12 cup, we have no feeback as our coffee tastes great and is our preferred hotness.
