I like to have fresh coffee first thing when I wake up. To get around this, I just set the delay brew 10-15 minutes earlier than I have may actual alarm set.

Great all around coffee maker!

Looks and works incredibly well, but is by all means simple to work. Programming is simple, and the machine will not let you turn it off when it has a programmed time, which is awesome for some of us who might do that. I love the idea of being able to make richer, stronger coffee, as well as other options for anything other than 12 cups at a time. The removable water reservoir is also a huge plus; no more spilling water EVERYWHERE while trying to brew coffee half-asleep.
