Easy set-up and I like the touch screen option (user friendly). It has standard features that come with most coffee makers. I like the option that the water tank is easily accessible and you can take it off to fill it with water. Also I like the custom brew technology that lets you choose between mild to strong-something that is not in many coffee makers. I tried different options and did see a big difference on the coffee strength. You can choose small batches (1-4 cups) or full carafe. I was concerned that this will make noise if I have to use it at work, but was surprised how silent it was compared to my old one. Found something interesting on this coffeemaker that is not there on any other machine - it drips into the top and goes down a straw (like device) & out into the bottom of the pot. I did see a big difference- helps keep every cup hot and flavor is evenly distributed in the carafe which is good when you make a full carafe. This is definitely a neat technology to keep every cup flavorful. Also, the coffee is pretty hot, so let it cool a bit before you take your first sip- guessing its common as the heater element is new. Most important of all - use high grade coffee beans to really see the difference. I grind my coffee every week to keep it fresh and flavorful

I love the features however while the hot plate is on the machine makes a loud clicking noise every few minutes.

Broke within half a year. Bottom seal began leaking, simple design flaw, bad outcome.

I got last years model of this and loved it so much for my home, I got this one for our cabin. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and makes a great tasting cup of coffee every time. You can even set a time for it to brew. I chucked my single serve plastic tasting coffee machine in favor of two of these. I like simple and this coffee maker is that. Simple great tasting coffee from a reliable company.

Product was broken inside the packaging. Returning after curbside pickup was a hassle. For some reason I had to stand around the store for a while until the system would allow the return. What was suppose to be a quick pick up ended up taking over 2 hours between having to return to the store and then waiting for the return to be processed.

Worked fine for 18 months then suddenly decide to quit working. First it. Wouldn’t power off. Luckily I was home and noticed. When I plugged it in the following day the only functioning keys were for the clock. Would not recommend buying this. My last coffee brewer was a cuisinart that lasted 10 years.

Based on the reviews I was convinced to try a glass carafe. I should have stuck to my gut. After 2 pots, 2 different days, the coffee tasted burnt with the stay warm feature. I'm going back to the old brand, with a thermal carafe. It was worth the try.

I only drink coffee for a nice shot, if your a bif coffee person skip iver this. Burns the coffee

When it worked I absolutely loved this coffee maker and have had great luck with the Ninja brand in the past. I don’t even use it every day but today I noticed the coffee maker has no power - it’s completely dead - and it’s only 9 months old. Yes the outlet is working. I’m really disappointed!

It’s an okay coffee maker. I would suggest using a paper filter.

We have another Ninja coffeemaker (The hot & cold maker w/ insulated carafe) and have absolutely loved it. This is a perfect compliment for that one to use when traveling or for guests to have in their room when staying over. It's simple and dead easy to use. There are some key differences between the more expensive machine, so if you're coming from that one be careful. This one will use however much water you put in the reservoir, so make sure you fill it according to your needs (and the line markers on the carafe don't necessarily coordinate to the number of cups you'll make). The scoop included with this also only provides one measurement as opposed to two with the more expensive upgrade. But at the end of the day, it makes good coffee, it's easy to use, it's easy to clean, and I trust this brand to be reliable and last. If that suits your needs then it's an easy purchase. If you're looking to do more, the hot and cold maker is a really awesome alternative for $100 more.

Ninja Coffee Maker I have been using a Kurig for the past few years and I am not a coffee snob. I am as simple as instant coffee, though I can appreciate a good cup of coffee. The Ninja is a nice unit and seems to be well built. Simple to setup and use. Got everything up and running without opening the manual. I like that metal filter is reusable and I don't have to buy disposables. BUT I have to empty and clean that filter. If I want to have a cup of coffee ready for me in the AM as I'm running out the door, I set the timer and have everything ready to pour by the time I get to the kitchen. But then I either have to dump the grinds and leave the filter in the sink to soak OR I end up leaving the wet grinds in the machine all day until I get home in the evening. Since you can still use paper filters in lieu of the metal filter that kinda negates the above benefit. The Ninja is a bit slow to get a full pot ready. I believe that is party due to the soaking procedure for the grinds and the showerhead drip which seems like a good idea to get water across the the majority of the grinds. Then it gets poured into a spout into the pot. It does seem to take a bit more time. Not a problem when I am using the timer function but if I'm making a pot during the day it gets annoying to wait on it. Overall, the coffee this machine brews tastes great and it has replaced my Kurig.

Loved it at first, used a few times until COVID-19 had me working from home. After about 6 pots of coffee the water reservoir started leaking when I fill it in the sink. This has the detachable reservoir and was the main reason I chose this.

It lasted 4 months to the day. What a total waste of money. I really liked the way the machine worked, it made pretty decent coffee. But 4 months in and completely dead.

I saw "reservoir", and I thought, "great. I can fill it up once a week and use it a little at a time. But it doesn't work that way. Everything you put in is immediately used. Not a "reservoir" at all. Just a water receptacle.

I bought this coffeemaker exactly one year ago and up until today- I have been very pleased with it. It is only used once a day to make a small pot of coffee. It sits on a counter and is not moved around. Unfortunately today it would no longer work due to the "brew" button being broken. Other cycles will operate but not the brew cycle. It's a simple button that is pushed and there is absolutely no reason for it to break. Ninja will replace the unit but I had to pay $20 in shipping. Terrible quality - definitely not worth the price. I will not purchase this brand again.
