Nuisance Arc Fault Breaker Tripping

This device is not compatible with Arc Fault Breakers (AFCI's). This does work with GFCI breakers, but newer standards are requiring the Arc Fault Breakers. Do not buy if you have AFCI's in your kitchen or plan on updating your kitchen to use them. I tested this device on both breaker types (20A breakers with only this device on the circuit) and had to return the unit. My electrician stated that it was not tripping because of the amps, but due to a nuisance arc fault. Unable to get through a full bake cycle when on AFCI. Buy at your own risk.
