It’ll darken the food and it’ll “look” burnt. Overall quiet and don’t really heat up the area. Got it on sale for $99 too!!!

Good fryer but not practical

Food comes out crispy but dry unless you use some oil or cooking spray. The cooking times are recommended but you still need to watch the food and taste it as it nears completion. I have tried cooking frozen foods and they come out very dry unless I use oil or spray the foods.
