It doesn’t work. Have to return and get a new one.

I don't use my oven anymore accept for baking roasts. This air fryer is the best invention ever! I highly suggest buying one. they are all simple to use, all have the same concept. this one has preset temperatures for what type of cooking you're doing and i thought that was a great touch. Its great for making chicken fingers and fries or small portions.

Ninja - 4 qt. Air Fryer - Black The Ninja Air Fryer is basically a convection oven built into a deep fryer shape. The cooking “pan” is not big enough to cook anything of any real size. The cooking area is a little over 8” around and about 3-1/2” deep. However the unit is about the size of a large Keurig coffee maker. There is no automatic shutoff when you remove the cooking pan. It continues to blow hot air and leaves the heating element exposed. Someone could accidently pick it up and get their hand inside. The first thing they’ll touch is the hot heating element. IMHO this unit is poorly designed. It takes up too much counter space to leave out all the time. It has a small cooking area. It could be dangerous to someone not paying attention when moving it to soon after using it. I think this is designed for single people who only need small cooking areas and don’t want to heat an entire oven. There is no window to view the progress of what’s being cooked, you know, like a toaster oven. You have to open it, it stays on, unless you press the pause button, if you’re cooking fries you need to turn them so they cook evenly. OK so enough with what I don’t like. I like Ninja equipment. Most of it is well thought out and functions really well. The Air fryer does function as it’s supposed to, but its size for what it cooks leaves a lot of room for improvement. I have used it several times and it has done its job as expected. My only benefit from it has been not having to heat the oven for something smaller. Fries are best, cook them half the time and then mix them up and let them finish. Other items have been a challenge. This is where the window would come in handy. It has several preset buttons on the control panel as well as time and temperature adjustments. It is not overly loud, but it is louder and a convection toaster oven. I’ll let you look at the specs to see what the button do. I expect they will probably change as the design continues to improve. The bottom line is look at this closely in the store before purchase. See if you have the space to either leave it out if you’re going to be using it all the time, or a place to store it when you don’t.

Excellent air fryer! Gives the taste of fried food without all the calories and fat. Easy to use and plenty of room. Great purchase!

We are new to air fryers so we experimented a few times. All the foods came out very good. Just check often as the foods can be overcooked if not.

Easy to use and made well…very easy to clean and the price was excellent

Having not had much (any) experience with air fryers, I was a little wary about getting this. However, once received, I found it simple to setup and an ease of use acceptable to first time friers. It seems like french fries are the to go item for a product such as this (at least for the first time), and the Ninja did not disappoint. Whether you're an experienced user or a novice, I think the Ninja is a great place to start (and finish!).

We love our new air fryer. We don't make big meals, and this is the perfect way to make delicious food easily and quickly. Clean up is a cinch, and it is so much more energy efficient. I'm not s super techie person, but this was easy to learn how to use. it's my new favorite toy!
