Awesome the guys at the Lakewood store in Belmar treating me good and I think I’ll make this my store, a Littleton not into keeping their word. And I pride myself on loyalty. And sometimes we make mistakes, but we gotta own them. I can’t get my stuff covered under warranty when I purchased a warranty and I am a total tech member so that’s like being Superman and somebody giving you a protein shake

The best handy blender. The best feature is the charged battery last longer and can blend frozen fruits! The price is just right

I had high hopes for this portable blender. I was even more encouraged after the first time I received the product, charged the battery and tested it out. Unfortunately, when I was traveling, I was never able to use it even once. I noticed before I left that when I had charged it after the initial use, that it didn’t hold the charge. Then I charged it after arriving at my first destination and it would not stop flashing green and wouldn’t work. So, I had to spend money while traveling on food because I couldn’t make my smoothies.
Interesting…when I went to snap a pic for this review it is showing solid purple. Somehow it’s still turning on now. Nevertheless, I’m not risking it again. It’s going back. If it had a decent battery, it would be one of the best because it is a powerful blender.

Have the blendjet but wasn't blending frozen fruit with milk. Bought this belnder since it's advertised of being superior and "Blast through frozen ingredients" but it still stalled after blending for a split second.

This portable blender is great for making smoothies and other blended drinks on-the-go. Whether you’re at the office, the gym, on a boat or anywhere in between, you can blend up your favorite drinks on demand for the ultimate in freshness. A quick and quiet 30-second blend is all it takes. The built-in rechargeable battery should last through several day’s worth of uses and its compact design is not a ton bigger than a regular tumbler. Cleanup is super easy, too.
Pros:
* Works really well.
* Is relatively quiet.
* Easy to clean with or without disassembly.
* Entire base is safe to be rinsed for deep cleaning.
* USB-C charging.
* Great battery life at up to 15 blends (30-sec each) per charge.
Cons:
* A bit awkward to drink with the weight of the attached base.
* Spring-loaded lid stays open until the last sip when it taps you on the head ;-)
* Not insulated, so chilled/frozen drinks start warming up and condensation starts soon.
* No travel lock - can trigger a blend accidentally.
* Not really 18oz - more like 14oz at most.
Sometimes you want to have a fresh blended smoothie or frozen drink when you’re not near your full-size blender at home. Perhaps you just crushed that workout at a park or gym, or need a break while working at an office… This Ninja Blast portable blender has you covered! The built-in battery powers through up to 15 blends (at 30-seconds each) and is easily recharged by USB-C. It’s relatively quiet and completely stable while blending.
Setup is super easy. There were a ton of informational stickers on the various parts, but they all had pull tabs and peeled off cleanly and easily. Charge it up with the provided USB-C cable and any suitable USB power adapter (not included). The light ring on the Start/Stop button indicates when charging is complete. There are really only 3 parts; the motor base, the blend vessel and the sip lid. Screw them together and you’re ready to blend up something tasty.
The instructions recommend a specific order of adding ingredients for the best results; liquids first and ice and frozen stuff last with everything else in the middle. The advertising says it’s an 18oz blender, but at least according to the measurements on the side of the vessel, the max fill line is 16oz and once all blended up, is a bit less than that. There is an optional 18oz vessel available separately, at least.
Turn it on and wait for it to verify that the vessel is screwed on properly. Then just tap the Start/Stop button to run a 30-second blend. Tap it again mid-blend to stop it early. If necessary, you can pick the whole thing up and shake or swirl it if anything isn’t blending well, but I never had a problem that needed to do this.
When the blending is done, just press the release button on the lid to sip away. You can even slide a straw (not provided) into the sip lid if you’d prefer. Keep in mind that the vessel is not insulated, so your cold or frozen concoction will start warming up and/or melting right away and if you’re outside on a warm day, don’t expect it to stay cold or frozen for long. While not necessarily intended, you can always unscrew the sip lid and pour your drink out into an insulated tumbler or glass for a longer-lasting chill.
The lid’s cover is spring loaded and mostly works fine. The shape of the sip opening is oval so the lid springs open away from you (not to the side). When you get to the last drops of goodness and the vessel is tipped to get the last few drops out, the lid’s spring just isn’t strong enough and the protective lid taps you on the head. Just be aware of this when finishing your drink and hold the lid open with your other hand and you’ll be fine.
After enjoying your smoothie, cleanup is really easy. The fast way to clean it is just to rinse out the vessel with the base still attached, then fill the vessel with fresh water to the “Min Liquid” line, add a drop of dish soap, and run a blend cycle (with the lid screwed on and closed of course). Rinse the soap out and you’re ready for another blend.
For a deeper clean, just unscrew the vessel and the lid and then either hand wash them or put them in the dishwasher (no heated dry cycle). The base can safely be rinsed under a faucet but be careful around the blades as they are really sharp. Best to use a bottle brush or other similar washing tool and not a simple sponge for safety. The entire base is splash resistant including the USB port. Don’t submerge it and definitely don’t put it in the dishwasher, but hand washing and getting the whole base wet is OK.
This blender is slim and relatively lightweight for carrying around in a gym bag, a backpack or really large cargo short pockets ;-). Regardless of how you pack it, something to be careful of is accidentally triggering a blend. The power button is a simple tap to turn on or off (not a press and hold). And when on, the blend starts with a single tap of the “start/stop” button.
Overall, this portable blender works great and is easy to use and clean while away from home. A few small improvements would upgrade it from great to amazing, though… A stronger spring on the lid so it stays open to the last drop. A travel lock on the power button to prevent accident blending. An optional insulated vessel for longer-lasting chill. None of these detract from what this blender does well.

The Ninja Blast Portable Blender is a cordless rechargeable personal-size blender with leak proof sipper that you can take on the go. It's perfect for making smoothies, protein shakes and much more. When we Start the blender, the blender runs for 30 seconds.
Order of adding the ingredients:
Liquid, Fruits, leafy greens, Nut butter, Powder and then ice.
Note - If you see the Orange light on the Start/Stop button make sure to shake the blender and then press the Start/Stop button once again. If you still see the Orange light make sure to add some liquid, shake well and then press the Start/Stop button once again.
Pros:
1. Performance - This blender is so powerful for its size and battery power. It simply crushed the ice cubes with such an ease. I never thought this blender will be so powerful.
2. Price - At 60$ this is really a steal for the power it delivers. You will certainly not repent buying one of these ever. Period.
3. Size and convenience - This is a portable blender that can be taken anywhere on the go with a carrying handle. This blender is really small. This blender has a capacity of 18 oz and it can be used anywhere without a need to connect to the power socket. Also this blender is so sleek that it fits inside the car cup holder.
4. Rechargable - The blender is rechargeable. So there is no need to connect to the wall socket ever. Regardless of where you go, you can use this blender on the go or while camping or in the office or wherever you want. Recharging takes about 2 hours from 0 to full charge. After recharging the blender will last upto 15 blending cycles which is upto 1 week (if used daily) or 2 work weeks (5 working days) which includes the rinsing/cleaning cycle. This is a lot of battery power considering the power Ninja Blast delivers.
5. USB C charging - Ninja has done a great job in making sure they are no longer providing an outdated Micro USB charging anymore. USB C is nowadays the standard used in most of the gadgets and this is the most welcoming thing. Also the charging port is water resistant.
6. Container - The sipping lid and blending container are BPA free as well as Dishwasher safe. The motor base is not and it should not be submerged in water.
7. Cleaning - It is very easy to clean. Just add some soap liquid and run the blender for one cycle and then wash it with water. Its as simple as that.
Cons:
Almost nothing

This is a fantastic little blender but won't be for everyone. It's really only meant for one person as you can tell by the size. You won't be making a picture of margaritas at your next house party with it for example, or smoothies for the entire family.. But for someone drinks their meals frequently, or even infrequently, this is a nice little option - especially when on the go. It's extremely portable and user friendly and the motor works well for the most part. There are a few little quirks, but nothing that would stop me from recommending it.
WHAT YOU GET AND GETTING STARTED
The blender comes in a little cardboard package in the shape of a big tube. There's not much in there, it's just the blender and inside of it you'll find an instruction manual and an extremely short USB C cable for charging. All in all everything you would need. Setup is pretty straightforward, one of the stickers on the blender itself tells you to charge it for at least two hours before the first use. But unlike other Ninja blenders, there's not 6 different types of preset blending options (like ice crush, smoothie, pulse etc.). There's a button to turn it on and off, and there's a button to start and stop the blending. Frankly, it’s all I ever want in a blender.
DESIGN
The blender is solid and well designed. It comes apart in three pieces. There’s the lid, which is both the lid of the blender (to prevent everything from shooting out) and has a flip top so you can drink from it, there’s the clear plastic container, and the motor base. The lid screws into the clear plastic body, which then screws into the motor base. The blender will not turn on unless the arrows on the clear plastic body and motor base are aligned (which requires you to twist/tighten them to a certain point). Again, it all fits well together and feels solid. I can’t speak to its durability if it’s, for example, dropped, but it at least feels like it should take a little beating. Especially since it’s meant to be portable, so drops are bound to happen.
The bottom of the motor base has a thick and sturdy rubber seal. This minimizes slipping and prevents the blender from dancing around on the table while in operation.
OPERATION
There’s no LCD screen or the like. There’s just a color ring around the power button. These lights can be thought of as error messages. If it’s white, that means the clear plastic body isn’t properly aligned with the motor base, so it won’t work. Orange means that the blades are blocked (this happened frequently to me). Solid red means it needs to be charged. There’s a handy sticker that you can remove from the motor base telling you what these colors mean, but I keep it attached so I can quickly reference it.
When you first use it, you’ll notice inside the clear plastic body a picture that shows you how to properly load the blender. 6 ounces of liquid are required, they go in first, then it’s recommended to add fresh fruit, maybe greens, then nuts/seeds/butter, and then finally ice or frozen fruit. This is an easily formula to follow but it took me a few tries to get the right amount of ingredients in there. I’m used to a larger blender and tended to overload it. I started to cut up some of my veggies (i.e. carrots) and fruits (i.e. apples) so I could fit more food in the body.
After it was loaded and the top was screwed on, it was time to turn it on. I kept getting the orange light, meaning the blades were stuck. But I learned to turn the blender upside down (leaving the blades untouched) and then when the motor started running I started to shake the blender (shaking it while in operation is actually recommended). The motor will run for 30 seconds before turning off automatically. All in all, I didn't have any complaints about its capabilities. So long as you don't jam it full with nuts, vegetables or firm fruits, it works just fine. No concerns there.
WHO'S THIS FOR?
The biggest question you have to ask yourself is who is this blender for? While you can blend on the go, do you really need that? You can't, for example, get your ingredients ready the night before, put it in the blender and then put the blender in the fridge (you're warned against putting the motor in the fridge). So it's not as if you save time. If you make a smoothie as a part of your morning routine, it's the same process. I guess the difference is, do you blend it right then, or do you take it on your morning commute?
If you make multiple smoothies in a day, I guess this makes sense, you can use it multiple times no matter where you are.
To me, the biggest benefit to having this blender is the small size. In my household, we have a giant blender. We barely use it and it takes up a ton of space. And when I did use it, it was for single person smoothies. So for me, this is a nice blender, it's small and doesn't take up a lot of space.
CONCLUSION
In sum, the blender works well for single person shakes - putting aside its portability. But the utility of having the ability to blend things on the go is a little hit and miss. All depends on your use case. It works well, so that shouldn't be your concern, the biggest question to ask is whether you can get by with a single person blender, which would save lots of space versus large blender.

This Ninja portable blender is simply amazing. Whether you’re travelling or want a quick smoothie, this blender will make your life easy. Want to get your kids to eat their fruits and veggies, this portable blender will easily blend everything you put into it, and the kids won’t even know what hit them. In this review, I will explain my thoughts on this portable Ninja blender.
To start, I thought Ninja did a great job with the “box” and overall presentation. Well, it’s more of a cylinder but it is made with some strong and durable cardboard that can be reused for storage of items or art projects.
The blender is rechargeable and a USB-A to USB-C cable is included. There is no charging brick, but I was able to charge the blender with my phone charger. The blender comes in three parts: a lid with a spring release button, a hollow blending vessel (note that there is no bottom), and the motor base. The blending vessel will always need to be connected to the motor base since the vessel is hollow all the way through. It does feel a bit awkward at first when drinking out of it since the weight of the bass acts like a counterweight anytime you drink. Fortunately, I eventually did get used to it.
The blender is straightforward and easy to use too but Ninja does recommend you place ingredients into the blender in a certain order for the best results. I followed through with this and 100% confirm that your drinks will come out a lot smoother. I attached an image of the recommended way to place ingredients into the blender.
Also, if you dislike the loud sounds from a typical blender, you will enjoy this one since this is undoubtedly the quietest blender I have ever used. I was able to have a normal conversation with my family while this was running in the background, if that tells you anything.
If you have kids or adults with intrusive thoughts, there is no need to worry about them turning the motor base on without the vessel. Ninja built a safety feature into the motor base where it will not turn on if the base isn’t flush with the vessel. The light indicator on the base will also flash white. This blender is easy to clean too, so your kids will be able to help with the dishes if needed. ;)
Overall, this is an excellent portable blender. Ninja always delivers with their kitchen products and this one is no different. The blender does everything you need it to do and best of all, it is easy to use, convenient, and portable! If you are in search of a portable blender that will get the job done, I wholeheartedly recommend you give this one a shot!

I’m often in a rush during the morning to make tea, make breakfast, eat breakfast, and get to work. Ninja’s Blast portable blender has a single purpose, but meets that purpose well. I’ve made several smoothies since I got it and each was easy to make, delicious to drink, and easy to clean up from. Even though I have a full size blender, I like that I don’t have to dirty a separate container, plus its easier to clean.
The Blast, as a portable blender, is rechargeable. You don’t use it plugged into the wall. It charges from a USB-C plug, which most modern cell phones and laptops use now. There’s a short cord that comes with the blender if you have a USB AC plug. Despite the fact that it’s “battery” powered, it’s not lacking in power.
Each of the smoothies I made contained a fair amount of frozen fruit (strawberries, pineapple, and blueberries are my favorites). The only time I had trouble was when I put the fruit in first. That time, the blades got stuck. Every other time, I put the yogurt and juice in first, then put the fruit in last. The Blast chopped the fruit and blended it into the mixture for a satisfying smoothie. It’s recommended that you shake the blender as it’s blending to help ensure an even distribution. While this wasn’t always needed, it helped a little bit.
The blender container ships with a pop top lid which lets you drink straight from the blender. The blade are far away from the opening, so there’s no worries about getting hurt on them. The top can be easily closed to transport your drink without spilling. Cleaning is a snap! I put a little bit of soap and water in the blender once I’m done, then turn on the blender for a minute. That cleans it out. A second ½ fill with water rinses the machine. It fully comes apart so the remaining parts can be wiped down if needed. The cup and lid are both dishwasher safe.
The blender has an automatic “off” timer which keeps you from over blending the smoothie or whatever else you’ve put into the container. As a test, I tried to crush some ice for a cocktail. The blades would barely move before it automatically shut off. The big blender’s job is safe for now!

This blender is perfect for most everyday needs, and is a great travel buddy! From making my daily smoothie, to blending up perfect pesto and salad dressings, the Ninja Blast couldn't make my life any easier. No cords necessary; just throw in all the ingredients, push the button, and off it goes. My first use was a coffee smoothie from a recipe that the manual had. Cold coffee, frozen banana, ice, almond milk, agave, and a little chocolate. It was perfect for a hot day buzz, and I've had one almost every day since. Very little mess and easy to clean, and I don't have to move a bunch of other appliances in the cabinet to get the huge regular blender out. My family and I have a camper van that we take out frequently, so this will be perfect for blending up smoothies and whipping up dressings while on the road, and can recharge via USB-C. The blender vessel also has a drink spout so you can drink right out of the blender. It's light so it works, but it feels a little awkward having to lift the whole base up to drink (the vessel doesn't have a bottom of its own). It's convenient, but probably a feature I won't utilize very often.
All in all, the Ninja Blast makes life pretty convenient for me. No more lugging out a huge blender just to make a little smoothie or salad dressing, or having to pre-make dressings while heading out on the road. Highly recommend.
