Two in a half months not working. Blade would not work

I am not able to charge it. I want to actually use it to review.

The compact size, lightweight design and portability of the BLAST™ are quite good. 18OZ capacity and a carry handle along with the slim shape and durable construction make for a very convenient blender! - hand, bag or backpack friendly. With the Ninja stainless steel, but non removable, blender blades and a lot of motor power it can chew through tough items and ice like a knife going through warm butter. It has multiple use battery life on a single charge while charging itself is accomplished using the included USB cable. The Ninja Blast™ is easy to clean by adding water and a little soap and then running for about thirty seconds. I do recommend reading the instructions and that you pay attention to the minimum liquid fill line. It should be liquid (not mayonnaise like I tried :-)). It comes with a nice warranty and good instructions. Way to go Ninja!!

I have started trying to maintain a healthier diet and have been following a plan that does a morning smoothie every day. Since I commute to the office three days a week and also have to take my son to school, I often find myself in a rush and needing quick on the go methods. The Ninja portable blender is perfect if you live a busy life and need an option that you can use on the go! Instead of having to prepare my smoothies or shakes before I leave the house, I can bring everything with me or just add all of the items I need in my blender, then add liquid and blend once I get to the office. For a small portable blender, this one has a lot of power and will ensure everything is incorporated well even with frozen fruits or veggies. This blender has an 18 ounce capacity so it's the perfect size for a single serving smoothie. The bottle is detachable from the blender bottom and has a sip lid so you can drink straight from it and not have to transfer into a separate cup. It is rechargeable by USB-C and a cord is included with the blender. It recharges fully in about two hours but a single charge can last weeks for me with a single use per day. This blender is super convenient for on the go lifestyles!

This is a very simple, very easy to use smoothie maker. There are only three parts, the base, which contains the motor for the stirrer, the clear plastic container that attaches to the base and that holds the beverage, and the top. There is also, yes, a USB cable as this unit does not plug into a wall socket. Rather, it has to be charged like a cell phone, and the cable (but not an A/C wall adapter) is included in the box. The instructions say to charge it for two hours prior to use. Then it’s just attach the container to the base, add your ingredients, screw on the lid, press the power button, wait until the start button glows purple, and press it. It stirs for a pre-set 30 seconds, and you’re done. You can drink the beverage directly from the container, but you have to leave it attached to the base to do so. But the entire contraption is very light and is actually designed to be used this way. Or you can pour the beverage out into another container and drink it from that. All parts can be washed and rinsed in the sink. If you’re into smoothies or health drinks or whatever, you can’t go wrong with this mixer. It’s fast, easy to use, and easy to clean.

I love a good smoothie but I hate getting the heavy base down, finding the right size cup and lid, and then loud noise. Ug. In walks this little Ninja. I washed it, charged it, and loaded it up as directed. After a minute all I could think was it was not blended, but it was. This is an all-in-one unit. The very powerful base, the container, and the lid. The base is very light so using it as part of the drinking container is no problem. The lid had a locking top so no spills. Clean up is water with a drop of soap and turn it on. Quick rinse and done! Charged is easy as it uses a common charger. I have loaded this up and driven to work, thrown it in the refrigerator and an hour later mixed and drank. This little machine is so easy it is fun to experiment with. I use it not only for a frozen fruit smoothie, it is great for chocolate milk or chai. The only problem I have is it is only one size. It’s a perfect size, but again only one. Also only one speed-again a perfect speed but only one. I highly recommend this for anyone!!

I own numerous Ninja products and I love their ingenious creations which outshine similar products from their competitors. The Ninja Blast is a portable blender and is a product I hoped Ninja would develop. I’m a fan of smoothies and protein shakes so a small single serve blender is so much easier to use and clean than a full size blender. Plus the lithium ion rechargeable battery and wireless operation are great when you’re on the go. Just take it along with your ingredients ready to freshly blend at work or on the road. Plus you can drink right out of the blender with it’s easy to use sip spout. In the box you get the Blast, a usb C charging cable, a quick-start guide, and an instruction manual. Not included is a power adapter but just use your phone adapter. To use, you just add your ingredients in the suggested order from bottom to top. Liquid first to the minimum liquid line, then fresh fruit, leafy green next, then dry ingredients, lastly is ice or frozen ingredients. You then just press the power button until the LED turns on, and then you press the start/stop button and the Ninja Blast will blend for 30 seconds. I was eager to try it out so I charged it fully for 2 hours as suggested and then grabbed some ingredients I had on hand to improvise a smoothie/protein shake of my own creation. I used almond milk, a 5 ounce yogurt, 2 tablespoons of protein powder, and then frozen strawberries and a few ice cubes. 30 seconds later I had a thoroughly blended, delicious and healthy shake. It’s really that simple and cleanup is a breeze. I’ve tried similar products from other manufacturers and the Ninja Blast out-blends the competition with this high quality product.

This is a very nice little personal portable blender. Makes smoothies in a jiffy on the go. I really like the portability of this unit and how easy it is to maintain and keep clean. I can store it in my desk at work and pull it out when needed, I can even charge it from my computer. Pros: Small, Compact 18oz unit. Easy to charge with usb c. Easy to use. Quick to clean. Very nice cordless design, the power button is very bright and the indication lights are very easy to understand. It's just the right size for a quick smoothie or powder drink. The blades appear to be very sturdy and the actual design/layout of the blades maximize the efficiency of the unit. Cons: Nothing I can think of, so far this unit is pretty good. The blades provide good mixing power but there has been a couple times I had to take the lid off and stir the fruit around so it could get better blended, but honestly i can't think of a blender i have ever used that didn't require a little manipulation at one point or another, it probably doesn't help that i like thick smoothies so it makes any blender a little more difficult to process everything in there. Overall: I am really enjoying this blender, the portability of it to take on the go, it's pretty quick to charge (about 2hrs, but gives you multiple uses) and is nice to be able to take to work so i can make a drink during my lunch hour. I would recommend this blender to anyone looking for a small portable personal blender.

Ninja Blast is another great product from Ninja – big fan of their products! This didn’t disappoint for a smaller size blender/smoothie maker. It is packaged really well in a hard-shell tube! Minimal paperwork to explain what you are getting. Quick assembly guide, charging instructions, cleaning instructions, and a few nice recipes! Out of the box I put it on the charger, which means finding a charger pod and plugging in the 16” USB-C charging cord directly into the base and letting it charge for about 2 hours. Meanwhile I hand washed the blending vessel and carefully washed the blade area. After fully charged, I put in my milk, fruit, oats, yogurt and protein powder – just to the max fill line. I hit the power button and then the start button which ran for 30 seconds – I did run it twice, probably needed a little more liquid. It turned out just as good as when I use my other larger blender. I love the handle on the lid but the weight of the base takes some getting used to. Doesn’t fit in my cup holder in my car but that’s ok. I would recommend this to a person on the go!

So far so good. The standard USB-C charging is great allowing the ability to charge it quickly and take it anywhere needed without having to use any proprietary cables. It has better bending power than I expected for a portable device making my protein shakes and fruit smoothie combinations without issue. It seems easy thus far to clean but be careful as the blades are sharp obviously. The base seems durable. It does have some weight to it but I suppose that is unavoidable with a larger battery needed for power and longevity. It’s my only blender at the moment and practical for any uses I have needed one for thus far. It’s functional, powerful, and seems as though it will last a long time as all their small appliances do. I would suggest reading the directions on how to clean it and to get an understanding of the suggested fill lines and sequences of adding ingredients. I also suggest looking up some recipes online as there are many of them. I would definitely recommend this to anyone active or who wants to blend ingredients quickly and on the go.

Since I travel I needed a portable blender for smoothies and energy drinks, and this unit lives up to expectations. It charges via an included USB-C cord (no charging block included) in about 2 hours, and has a stated life of about 15 uses. I tend to blend a lot of ice drinks longer than most, so I average about 12. It's portable and fits in most car cup holders, and has a carrying handle. It includes an 18 oz blending jar that is dishwasher safe. The included sipping lid is leak proof so you don't have to worry about spills. Like most blenders it can also self-clean by just running a 30-second cycle. There a separate power and blending buttons to minimize the chance of turning it on accidently. There's also the option to purchase additional 18 oz or 16 oz jars for sharing. So far everything I've made has come out just as if it was made in a full size blender. It's great for bringing ingredients to work or school to blend at some point during the day, or to make at home and take with you without having to drag out the big blender!

I really wanted to like this Ninja portable blender. I have a full size Ninja blender that I'm a big fan of and hoped for the same here. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I like making shakes and smoothies as meal replacements or snacks sometimes and it’s a pain to get out (and clean) the full size blender all the time for that, so this seemed perfect, and in theory it is. The problem is execution. The size is great and it takes up hardly any space. I also like that it is portable (battery powered, no plug). But as convenient as that could be, I don’t feel like the blender holds up. First of all, I had to blend for several minutes to try to get rid of all of the chunks for fruit and ice. Even after several minutes, I was disappointed to find that I still had ice chunks in my smoothie. That’s a huge mark down for me. Plus, Ninja says you’re supposed to get 15 blends on a single charge. Maybe that’s true if you only use it for 30 seconds or so at a time. But because of all the extra blending time I needed, it doesn’t get anywhere near that much use on one charge (maybe half that). There are a lot of options for smaller/individual use blenders and the Ninja sadly missed the mark for me and the main reasons that I wanted it.

Excellent item works very well. I can put all types of fruits and vegetables in the blender and it comes out very smooth. Wonderful item, I think my mom wants one too lol.
