Do Not Buy the Ninja Blast Portable I strongly recommend avoiding this product. I purchased it on sale (around $25 off), and it only lasted about a month before completely failing. Despite being fully charged, it would only show an error light and refuse to operate. To make matters worse, Ninja’s customer service was frustrating. Since my 30-day Best Buy warranty had expired, I contacted Ninja directly. Initially, they told me I could replace the unit, but I would have to pay nearly $25 for shipping—essentially wiping out the discount I received. After pushing back and pointing out that many customers have reported the same issue, I was finally offered free shipping “as a one-time courtesy.” Even then, the process was complicated, and I was told to call back again just to finalize it. As for performance, even when it worked, it struggled. The blender could barely handle frozen fruit, even with added liquid, and often stalled or required multiple attempts. In my opinion, this product is poorly designed and unreliable. The fact that so many customers report the same problem but no recall has been issued is concerning. Save your money, there are far better portable blenders out there.

Bought several of these as office christmas gift and everybody absolutely loved it. Good quality, good size and not noisy at all.

We’ve had this for about a year now, and it’s starting to not want to blend. We only make smoothies bananas peanut butter smoothie and blueberry smoothies with yogurt and milk. These are all the toppings we have put in the blender. Blueberries have been frozen m, but other items not. I would get the signal there is something stuck in the blade but there wouldn’t be. Also you can’t really use it wind it’s plugged in and charging, which is a bummer.

No Stars!!! I have never been so angry about a purchase made at Best Buy. I purchased this item to make lunch easier while at work. However, I never had the chance to experience the product's function. When I returned to work in the office after being a remote worker; 3 weeks had passed since my purchase. I charged the unit and its light NEVER turned purple for me to blend. While it gave a full green charged lighted indication... no blend! When I attempted to exchange it for a working model at the same Best Buy location it was purchased from - I was denied!!! I was instructed to speak with the manufacturer because 2 weeks time had passed and I had not purchased a membership to allow me more time for returns. I am furious and will no longer make purchases at Best Buy. By the way I am a Best Buy Visa cardholder... well I have decided to end that relationship as well

The Ninja Blast 18 oz Portable Blender is a great portable blender for use at home or on the go! Following are my pros and cons after using it several times: PROS: - It came packaged neatly and efficiently in a tube-shaped container, which I can also use to store it in, along with the instructions and charging cord to keep it all together. In addition to the unit and a USB-C charging cord, it also came with a "Tips & Tricks" instructions, Quick Assembly Guide and Safety instructions. - The Tips & Tricks instructions gives steps 1 - 5 to help with best results. Both the Quick Assembly guide and Safety Instructions give good diagrams and illustrations of parts and assembly and there is also a helpful Troubleshooting Guide. - It is easy to assemble the blending container onto the base by lining up the arrows and also the lid. - Measuring is made easy with minimum and maximum fill lines and Ounces shown on the side of the blending container. - It is rechargeable and cordless. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the unit, and then it gives approximately 15 blending cycles before it needs to be recharged. - Provides for easy cleanup. It can be easily hand washed, or put on the top shelf of the dishwasher, with no heat drying, or it can self-clean by filling with warm water and a few drops of soap and then running a 30 second blend cycle. - It is very easy to use and operate, with only a power button and start/stop button. When the start button is pushed it runs for 30 seconds, but can be pushed again for additional 30 second blending increments, or shut off during the blending cycle by pushing the start/stop button again. - There are LED colored lights around the stop/start button, which will help with troubleshooting, if necessary, based on the color of the lights. - The unit also comes with 5 recipes to help get you started. - This blender is relatively quiet; not near as loud as other blenders. - I've made several smoothies using frozen fruit and ice. One 30 second blend and it easily blends all ingredients well and provides for a very smooth drink. It has no problem blasting through the frozen ingredients. CONS: - The only possible con I can share is that it is designed so you can drink right out of the blending container with the base still attached. However, with the base still attached, it is about 1.74 pounds, so I feel like it is a bit heavy and awkward to drink right out of the unit. It's certainly able to be used in that fashion, like if I was tailgating or camping and wanted less mess and cleanup that would go with drinking right out of the unit. However, when I am at home, I simply pour the drink into a separate cup that's a little lighter and easier to drink out of. I would have preferred if the blending container could have been detached from the base and a lid added to make the container easier to drink out of directly, without the base attached. While this is not something I consider a con, something to be aware of is while this blender is great for making single serve smoothies, protein shakes, or blended margaritas, with it only having an 18 oz capacity, you'll need to make multiple batches for more than one person. While this is required to make it a reasonable sized portable blender, it's just something to be aware of if you are wanting to use it for larger capacity blending for multiple people each day. While I've only made smoothies so far, which have been very good, I'm also looking forward to using this while tailgating and camping. Having a portable, chargeable blender will be very convenient for those types of activities. I am very impressed with the overall performance and also the compact size for storage. I highly recommend the Ninja Blast Portable Blender!

Works fine for liquid, soft fruit, and powders. Not strong enough for frozen ingredients and small ice. Used for about 3 months and it indicates the blade is jammed even when I just have water in it. The blade turns freely by hand. IT DIED

I love this so much I bought another one for my son. This is a great "on the go" little blender that I use for making my protein smoothies in the morning, before the gym, or a late night healthy snack. Ninja does it again.
