I am big fan of Ninja products, however the Ninja Blast portable blender does not hold a charge OR blend anything but pure liquid very well. You put in any frozen fruit and it immediately gives a jam error. When you clear the jam, it keeps saying it's jammed. You can only run it few time, before it says it out of battery. There is no way this would blend what is pictured in the photo on BBY.com without jamming.

Blends everything I throw at it. Super great for my morning breaky

Is not good when I used the first time no work not more. I’ll go to return the next week, because I’m on vacation in Dominica Republic

I bought this product and was excited about it. All of a sudden it stopped working. Purple solid light is on and it won't blend. When I go to return it it says the return period has expired. Now I am stuck with a charge and a product that doesn't work. #INFURIATED

The Ninja Blast is a powerful portable blender perfectly capable of quick & easy on-the-go smoothies or protein shakes via a USB-C rechargeable base. The slim design makes the device easy to throw in a bag for the gym or work, and drinks are ready in 30 seconds with the preset blend mode (no settings to choose or time to set), though I did find I had to run the device twice when I used it with the larger ice from my automatic ice maker on my freezer to fully blend the ice down. The lid securely locks down and seals around the drinking spout with a rubber gasket, ensuring no leakage when you’re carrying it around, but easily pops open with a simply push of a button. The drink vessel is marked to a “max fill” of 18 ounces, but you MUST allow for expansion of contents, especially protein powders. For me, 8 ounces of milk, a scoop of protein powder, a half banana, and a couple ice cubes maxes the container out, so make sure you under-estimate your contents when blending so you don’t overfill. The device does a very good job of fully blending protein powder, leaving very little powder on the sides of the drink container like a lot of other blenders do. Smoothies are also excellent, whether made with fresh or frozen fruits. If you’re using multiple solid/semi-solid/liquid ingredients, make sure you follow Ninja’s recommended order for placing ingredients for best results (liquids on bottom, fresh fruits next, frozen items on top, etc.). Specifics are listed in the instructions. Cleaning is a breeze. When I get to where I’m going, I throw some water & soap in the vessel, run a single blend mode (30 seconds), empty it and it’s good to go. The drink container is also dishwasher safe, though the motor base is NOT – get yourself a brush for this (be careful hand-washing it, the blades are VERY sharp, trust me on this one). My only complaint comes down to the awkwardness of drinking with the heavy base attached. Once you’ve blended your drink, you’ll be drinking with the full motor and battery until still attached to the base, which makes it somewhat heavy and tall (though it’s still narrow enough to fit in your vehicle’s drink holders). And no, you can’t unscrew the drink container from the base as a way around that (like you might a full-sized blender), as the drink container is open at the bottom for the blades to pass through, so the only option is to leave it attached to the base. Pros: - Recharges in 2 hours - Get around 12 blends before you’ll notice any slowing of the motor - Blends extremely well (larger ice may take a couple of cycles), no matter contents being blended - Narrow to fit in most car drink holders - Clean-up is a cinch - Cannot start blend mode without the drink container attached for safety reasons Cons: - Base is tall and heavier, making drinking a little awkward, especially when driving Summary: I’m very, very happy with this blender, despite the heavier base. I love throwing a quick shake in the car on the way to work or blend a banana into my protein shake after working out at the gym. Ninja has once again hit a home run.

After 3 weeks of usage, the battery wouldn't charge.

Only got this cause blendjet recall. It is not powerful and feels like the battery drains fast.

It’s ok but not the best with Ninja I have a lot of there products so when I purchase this one I felt ok this should be good but it’s not need so fixing on

I purchased this about a month ago. The battery doesn’t hold any charge. I’m lucky if I get two 30 second blends out of it. I’m outside the return window now so I’m stuck with it for now, but I will be looking for something else to replace it.

Not the NINJA I have used in the past. This product is only ok for liquid and soft items. It cannot handle ice very well which is a shame because I need to put ice in when making smoothies. This is disappointing. I constantly have to shake it to dislodge ice cubes. I gave up and just started using my blender.

Should've returned it when I had the chance. This not the typical quality tthat the well known Ninja brand is suppose to have. I bought two for my husband and myself and my sister bought one as well. Hers stopped working within a week and the blender itself doesn't blend ice when making smoothies. Learned the hard way when I was trying to have much lunch at work. Needless to say, very disappointing. The blender times out or over heats after a few blends. This reminds me to not purchase items that need a trial period from Best Buy since they have a 14 day return policy versus other retailers have 30 or 90 days. I ended up getting an off brand from Amazon for 20 bucks and works just fine. Shame on Ninja for their over priced low powered personal blender. You've been warned. Don't let the name brand fool you.

nice personal blender but you will need to crush the ice or freeze your fruits otherwise it will be hard to or wont blend...

This is piece of junk. After only three months of very little use the battery won't hold a charge. I have to go through some big ordeal at Best Buy to try and get it fixed which seems like a lot for a $55 product. I think I should be able to exchange it for a new one. Don't buy this product!!!

My blender is not working after one year and i dont know where i may be ble to repair or fix it

I really wanted to love the blender. I must admit that I am a disappointment in this product. All of my other Ninja products , Foodi, Wood Fire Grille, are the best but this is not. I added ice, almond milk, almond butter, protein powder and frozen strawberries. It took forever to blend. I finally gave it. The berries were still chunky

Would not stay charged even after an overnight charge

Between my sister, husband and me, we purchased 3 of these blenders. It holds charge but doesn't have enough power to really blend ice. Who wants a hot smoothie?? My sister's stop working after 6 days. My husband and I use it occasionally so it wasn't until after the "return window" we discovered how weak it was and overheats after short blending. You're better off buying a $20 portable blender from Amazon, which we all did. Those off brand blenders proved to be more powerful. Do not recommend for the price. Shame on Ninja! I use to believe in their products and took the chance and kept ours after my sister was smart enough to return hers and get her $50 back after a week.
