This has become the PERFECT blender for our small appliance heavy counter. We are not overly crammed for space, but the counter is getting filled: Air Fryer, Pressure Cooker, Coffee Pot, and full sized BLENDER. This Portable Blender is great for multiple reasons, first the important ones. It makes pre-made smoothies and even custom smoothies easily, quick simple push button, right into a usable cup. Easy. Small nock on the placement of the latch, but overall not an issue. There are times I wish there was more than one cup for it, so we can blend and drink... and then blend another for someone else. (instead of blending, pouring into another cup, washing, then the next one). We have used it multiple times, while not plugged in, and well the battery life is good, but we haven't pushed it, and it still retains all it's power, as compared to when it is plugged in. The fact that the adapter fits IN the cup, makes this really easy to store and put away, and travel with when necessary. The slim design also is GREAT on the counter, as I mentioned earlier. it is 1/3rd the size of a traditional Ninja blender, and takes up little space (it even tucks behind the curves of the pressure pot, taking up even less space.

Rechargeable blenders are fairly limited at the moment in what is available on the market and known name brands. Ninja did great with the limited amount of packaging used; it’s easy to open and recycle when done. Out of the box, there’s the main cup, rechargeable base, power pack, quick drink recipes and instructions. Prior to first use of the blender, it will need to be charged fully to ensure the initial charge on the product has been met. Charging is noted as complete when the light is a solid green. Design. The blades are tied to the main cup for the unit, leaving the base behind when done using this for your pre/post workout drinks and other quick blend items. Most other portable blender brands leave you with having to carry the entire unit together as an assembly or leaving you with the need to find a power source to use it. Because the base is rechargeable, this means you can use it anywhere and anytime. The separable base is great as it removes the everyday challenge when cleaning the cup and blades by removing the possible water exposure to the electrical components leading to main unit damage and increasing overall longevity of the product. One additional advantage to this is the blend cup is dishwasher safe. One good use example is as follows: After gym workout, blend before leaving the gym or in the car by leaving the base in your cup holder, drink your smoothie on the way home, and place the blend cup directly into the dishwasher. Blend Options. Blend, Crush, and Smoothie. All of these options work well. The blend option worked well with making a quick small batch of salsa as a take along for my weekly meal plan. The Crush option worked well with crushing the regular sized ice cubes (4-6 pieces) into smaller pieces prior to using the smoothie option. The Smoothie option works really well without the need to crush the ice prior actually making your smoothie. Whether using ice, a combination of frozen fruits, or even ice and protein powder. With the blend cup being ~22oz, it has plenty of room for a single drink or a drink for two. Run-times. Run times on a full charge will vary depending on how “hard” you are pushing this blender. During my uses and taking this to the primary levels for the gym, I am able to get drinks almost a full 7-days, with around a half to 1 cup of smaller ice from the ice machines. Highly recommend for anyone that likes to take drinks on the go and need a quick use blender.

This is my first portable blender so I didn't know what to expect. I thought they wouldn't be strong enough to crush ice or handle frozen fruit chunks when blending. It is strong enough to handle most of what I've thrown at it. I did add too much frozen fruit and cream to one smoothie and it did freeze up that time. It ended up being an extra thick ice cream shake essentially. Once it froze up, it took a conciderable amount of time to cool down to be used again. The other times I used it, it handled everything including ice without issue. I'm still learning the best recipes with proper quantities so that I'm not overloading the unit. I love that there's a QR code on the blender for more recipes. It's most definitely portable and easy to clean. It would have been nice if it had a USB-C charging port rather than a proprietary port/cable. For my first portable blender, I'm pretty happy with it. It has 3 different blend options, blend, crush and smoothie and after running about 30 seconds, it pauses then runs again. I believe this prevents it from getting overheated, but it also allows the heavier large chunks to lower and get to the blades for the next run. I've learned my favorite to make so far is the iced frozen coffee drinks. I've made about 10 smoothie or coffee drinks and I've not yet had to charge the unit a 2nd time so that battery life is better than I expected as well. I love with this portable blender, I can have coffee drinks better than I can get from Starbucks with exactly what I want in it. I can control the amount of sugar in each drink making them much healthier and better for me and my husband. I'm very happy to have this blender!

The Ninja Blast Max is a really cool mixer, blender, smoothie maker. My version of the Ninja Blast is the Max 22 oz portable version. I am not sure what other versions are out there, but this one is just about the perfect size for making blended drinks on the go. The only issue I seem to have is keeping by teenage daughters from hogging the unit to the point I can't use it. The blender is compact, battery powered and easy to use and clean. All the things that are important. On top of all of that, it does a great job performing what it is supposed to do, mix and blend. The unit comes with a base, charging cable and a 22 oz container that houses the blades. The container has a removable lid with a drink spout that easily twists off of the motor base so that you can take it with you on the go. The 22 oz container fits easily into almost any car cup holder making it the perfect travel companion. It also comes with a handy wrist strap that makes it even easier to carry. It has three of what Ninja calls IQ settings. Blend, crush and smoothie (which is probably the one that gets used the most). The auto IQ is designed to give you the perfect results and so far, I have been impressed. The power button has the battery indicator so you can easily tell when the blender needs a recharged. So far, the battery life has been great for me. If you like blended drinks and smoothies and are a person that is always on the go, this is the perfect combination unit for you and the 22 oz size means your not gonna run out of your favorite drink anytime soon.

It seemed to me a couple of years ago, portable blenders became a rage. A lot of companies seemed to come out in this market pushing a portable smoothie maker. I even had a couple of different ones, but none really did what I wanted. What I wanted was a blender that could do what a big blender did without taking up all the space of a big blender. With the Ninja BlastMax 22oz Portabloe Blender, I finally have what I am looking for. For starters, this is easy to set up. You pull out the rechargeable base and set it up. The amount of space it takes up is about a quarter of a usual Ninja blender. Then you fill the vessel with whatever you want to blend, and then you are ready. Twist the vessel onto the base and hit go. It really is that easy. You actually have three different settings to blend with. You can select Smoothie, Crush, or Blend. This is way better than the other portable blenders that I have tried. The “crush” setting works well on ice and can make a nice juicy slush. “Smoothie” works great with frozen fruit. And with blend, I even liked to make milkshakes. This has actually now replaced my big Ninja blender. A lot of times, I am not blending huge amount of stuff. This is the perfect size for me. My daughter has even used it to blend up a pancake mix using just eggs and banana. It works great for that. The nice thing is that once the ingredients are blended, you don’t need to get another glass. You can drink it straight from the vessel. There is a pop open top which allows you to drink straight from the container. There is even a small little carrying tab which allows you to take it on the go. The container even fit in my car’s drink holder. It was perfect. Everything about this blender is great. It has a small footprint which makes storing it very easy. Also, it really is excellent to take on the go. It is perfect to take to a hotel and blend up your own smoothies or drinks when you are away on the road. Cleaning is also easy. The container is dishwasher safe and also easily washed by hand. In the end, I really love the Ninja BlastMax Portable Blender. And even though it is marketed as a portable blender, it still can handle 95 percent of what I need a blender for. With its small size, it is perfect for dorms or other small kitchens. I could see this being perfect for a college student as well. They could mix up a drink in the morning and then take it with them to class. I recommend this blender to anyone.

I love my Ninja Blast Max 22oz Portable Blender, especially the cool grey color. I have been looking for the perfect small portable blender and the Ninja Blast Max came along just in time. The Fill Order line design and features in making the Smoothie for beginners so easy. The cord free Ninja Blast Max makes it very convenient to use and take your drink anywhere. It has line indicator levels from 1 to 5 in blending and preparing your Smoothie. 1. Adding liquid 2. Fresh fruits 3.Leafy greens 4.Dry ingredients 5.Finish with ice or frozen ingredients. The Control Panel offers Programs to avoid any mishaps and to make sure you get the best speed whether you Blend, Crush, Smoothie when using the Ninja Blast Max. The One-touch Auto IQ programs easily in crushing ice and blending Smoothies for the best taste. I purchased a frozen bag of frozen fruit along with almond milk and made made delicious Smoothie. With a 20 percent larger capacity you can create frozen drinks, protein shakes that the former series can't duplicate. My Ninja Blast Max came as solid green for fully charged but also has real time reading when a charge is needed. The clean up is so much better compared to a full size blender and dishwasher safe. Ninja-Blast Max is the best quick and easy way enjoy a Smootjie on the go.

very difficult to clean the blades are in the container!?!?

Ninja is such a staple in my household that I don't have any doubts whenever it comes to their products. This blender is no different. The battery lasts me days at least 4 days in my experience. I do only use it once or twice a day. The size is fantastic. 22oz is just a little bit more from a grande from Starbucks or medium sized drink and it's just below a venti or a large. I find that to be a sweet spot for me because I find 16oz to be too little since I love to drink a lot. I can fit in ice, fruit, milk, whatever all together in this blender and it creates a nice, great smoothie for me. The container works as well as a cup so no need to transfer the drink and make things more messy. I find that it keeps my drink cool for just a little longer but it's not as well insulated as more proper containers. The blender itself is strong enough for my needs which I listed earlier. There are different modes that you can get with this blender and I personally just use smoothie and blend mode for the most part.

I was super excited to try this Ninja Blast Max out. I recently started doing protein powder shakes and was really wanting to move into smoothies as a different avenue to incorporate more protein into my daily diet while taking some of the "edge" off the taste/consistency/after taste of protein powders which truly never go away. After unboxing this, I was a little nervous. It looked a little bit on the short side. I let it charge for about 3 hours and at that point, showed it was at a full charge, so I got to work making a smoothie with fresh fruits and veggies. I added a few splashes of coconut water, 2 scoops of bananas, ~10 sliced strawberries and pineapples and I tried to cram some spinach in there too but I was already at the fill line. So I hit the "Smoothie" button and nothing happened and a quick trip to the Quick Start guide let me know I needed to check the attachment of the Vessel to the Motor Base and sure enough after un-securing and re-securing the lock mechanism, I was blending. The Smoothie button did 4 separate start and stop blends of the ingredients and once that was completed I added a handful more of spinach and a couple of scoops of sugar-free ice cream and to my surprise, even though these were added to the top - after I hit "Smoothie" you could hear the exact moment during the second blend cycle when that ice cream and spinach made its way down to the blades and it ended up being blended in so well, you couldn't even tell it had been added after the fact. You really don't even need to add ice, which usually waters the smoothie down anyways. The vessel has a lot of really-well thought out features too. The lid clicks and locks into place when it closes and it's leak-proof due to a rubber seal in the lid. A press of the button releases the lid and if you push the lid back from being angled to being flat and flush it locks into place so when you're sipping it's not pressing against your face. There's also a little air hole which prevents you from creating a vacuum when you're drinking from the spout. It also has a built-in rubber carrying handle. The vessel feels very sturdy in terms of build quality. Cleaning literally only took a couple of minutes. I recommend hand washing - the instructions suggest soap and water into the vessel and putting it on the base and running the "Blend" cycle. After doing this I hand washed it and set it out to dry. I'd be curious to use the "Crush" feature to make slushy drinks with the crushed ice. All-in-all I think Shark-Ninja hit this out of the park. It's very easy to use and it comes with easy to follow fill order instructions and a Quick Start guide that guides you thru all the functions -- i.e. what all different colors and indicators on the control panel do -- blending instructions and cleaning instructions. It also comes with a regular wall outlet connector. For individual usage, this is literally the perfect portable blender - another innovative product from Shark-Ninja that I can't recommend enough!

I was super excited to get my hands on this NINJA Blast Max Portable Blender! While I already own several full-sized blenders from a variety of brands, I'd yet to find a smaller, more portable model which fit my needs. Until now. This Ninja personal blender is built exceptionally well! The blending vessel is made of really thick plastic, as is the sip lid with flip-up push button cap (which snaps closed with a nice tight seal). The carry strap is made of a nice thick rubber. There are two overlapping blades (be very careful when cleaning, they are sharp!) for the built-in "CrushBlade Assembly" which does a fantastic job of crushing ice and slicing thru frozen fruit. Aesthetically, the surface of the motorized base is done in a stylish gradation of color, from silver to gunmetal black. And the rubberized bottom of the motor base ensures the blender will securely stay put on your countertop when in use. While operating, the blender isn't overly loud, either. Even though the blending vessel and sip lid are dishwasher safe (top rack, no heat drying), I prefer to clean them as suggested in the Owner's Guide - with a small squirt of dish detergent and 6 oz. water for a short 'blending' cycle. *Caution: Since the motor base of this Ninja Portable Blender is a rechargeable rather than a plug-in corded model, be aware of this when you handle the base or for storing when not in use, as it's easy to inadvertently press the power-on button. Also, read over the Owner's Guide and pay attention to the safety instructions, as well as, the proper way to put ingredients into the blending vessel for best results. Some of my favorite drinks to create with these types of personal style blenders, is shakes and smoothies. Partly, in my efforts to recreate my preferred beverages from those "places" we all know. Although I've yet to master this, I'll keep trying, experimenting, and have much delicious fun doing so. Overall, this NINJA Blast Max Portable Blender is pretty sweet! The price is just right, too. Plus, the blender's build quality matches its performance. Recommend.

I've been using the Ninja Blast for a week now, and I have to say, it’s become a staple in my daily routine. I primarily use it to make single-portion protein shakes, and it’s perfect for that. The 22oz size is just right for my needs, and it's incredibly convenient to have a portable blender that can handle everything from smoothies to more substantial shakes. What really stands out to me is how well it blends, especially considering it's battery-powered. Despite not being plugged into the wall, it chops up ice and frozen fruit as well as my corded blender does. This makes it ideal for making icy drinks without any fuss. I was worried a cordless blender wouldn’t be as powerful, but that hasn’t been the case at all. It’s perfect for keeping my counters clutter-free too, as I don’t need to leave a bulky blender sitting out when I’m done. Cleanup is also a breeze, which is a big plus for me. The parts come apart easily, and it only takes a quick rinse to get it ready for the next use. I love that I don’t have to spend extra time scrubbing, especially when I’m in a hurry. One minor downside is the charging situation. The blender doesn’t use a USB charger, which would have been much more convenient. Instead, it comes with a proprietary cord, so I have to make sure I always keep track of that. If I lose the charger, the blender would essentially become a paperweight, and that’s a bit of a hassle, especially if you plan to take it with you while traveling. I haven’t had the chance to travel with it yet, but I do intend to. Its compact size and cordless design seem perfect for tossing in a bag, so I’m optimistic that it’ll be as convenient on the go as it is at home. All in all, the Ninja Blast Max Portable Blender is a fantastic addition to my kitchen. The power, portability, and easy cleanup make it well worth the investment. Just be mindful of that charger!

This is my first portable blender, so I had to alter my expectations coming from a standard blender. Additionally, I had only used friends' blenders from different companies that I did not own myself. I made summer frozen adult beverages, smoothies, and sauces (just to compare to my normal blender). I am the type of person that reads the manuals, which I believe many people often overlook. I think it is especially important in products like these, to review the manual and follow their guidelines. I typically made about 4 frozen drinks without any issue and 2 smoothies. With the sauces I created, I definitely felt a difference in consistency and texture but I was overall surprised in the power of a battery powered device. Battery: Recharges from empty to full within a few hours, I typically would leave it charging overnight. Blending: It has 3 modes, I still can't really figure out how best to pick the right mode since I feel like I need a mix of 2 or all 3. However, I am happy with being able to achieve a smooth slush, chunky smoothie, or everything in between. Cleaning: I felt it quite easy to clean. Nothing special here. The lid seals nicely and you can drink directly from it. Portability: It's on the larger size and heavier than I'd like but also just as expected. It fits in my backpack well and I typically emptied the contents into another container. Overall: I would recommend this. It allows for all the benefits of the blender and on the go.

This charger works well and is easy to use. It does not come with a charge out of the box so you will need to charge it first. It comes with the blender, a mixing cordless-rechargeable base, charging cable. and sipping lid. It is dishwasher safe and comes with an instruction/inspiration book, but does not include any recipes like the book implies. The blender with base is a little bulky for real portable use. After my first charge the mixer was easy to use and I got a few mixes out before needing a recharge. This worked well for me to keep at work and mix a smoothie up, or I can fill it in the morning and store until lunch. I had to look up additional recipes and mixing suggestions. It recommends you put liquids in first and ice and solids last to keep from jamming up the blades. This worked well for me the few times I used it. I also ran it through the dishwasher and it seemed to be fine with no damage - the dishwasher safe is a big plus for me. In all, I would recommend this blender. It comes with everything you need except recipes and mixing suggestions. It carries a good charge for use after you fully charge it once out of the box. It is easy to drink right from the mix bottle and it's dishwasher safe.
