    Simplistic Coffee Brewing Perfection

After struggling w/ our 3rd K-Cup machine, we decided to finally go back to conventional brewing and are so glad we found this Ninja! Perfect brew temp and warmer plate temp make your pots of coffee aromatic, and long lasting - while not getting that bitter/burnt flavor after hours. While my preferred coffee is a short espresso, most guests we entertain are not as acclimated to the high potency of espresso and we are happy to serve our company a perfect pot of coffee from the Ninja. We really like the build quality of the reusable filter. The coffee carafe has a solid feel to it as well. Dishwasher safe too. Might be the best consumer coffeemaker under $100!

This is by far one of the best products I have ever had the pleasure of testing out! It is sleek and stylish and will immediately add a touch of class to any counter top. The water fill bin is different than a traditional coffee maker because the bin removes allowing you to fill it directly each time. Do note that you will need to make sure and rinse the pot thoroughly because this becomes easily forgotten, when you are not handling it between each use. The device has the option to select a brewing style, which will make even cheap coffee make you say Mr. Who… Wonderful product that adds a touch of splendid to every one of my mornings

Who would have ever thought coffee would taste this good! Prior to getting my hands on the Ninja 12 cup coffee maker, I had a cheap unit that I had been using for over three years. Coffee was good, but not the greatest. Once I got my hands on this Ninja coffee maker, I immediately notice a much smoother and rich tasting flavor in my coffee. No more bitter tasting coffee here. One thing that I really like about the Ninja coffee maker is that it comes with a reusable filter. No more buying paper filters. It also feels like a quality product and looks great. I would highly recommend this Ninja coffee maker.

I've tried many coffee makers in the past but , when i opened this box, i knew this was something special. I love the fact that the water reserve can be taken off to fill. Love that the timer to keep the marker on is 2 to 4 hours (some only have 2 hours). This keeps the coffee nice and hot. My wife and I both love it.

Love this coffee maker. Has a time setting so you can set up and it will make coffee at that time. You can set it to brew normal or stronger. Can also set to do a half pot or full pot without having to worry about filling pot halfway with water. Just easy to use and nice futures compared to your basic makers. No filter required.

Without all the bells and whistles of other more expensive Ninja coffee makers, this little wonder still holds its own in the most important aspect: making a great cup of coffee. The small batch function along with the cup by cup scoop allows one to make a few cups for a quick couple cups without suffering the awkward “how much is too much” trial and error coffee making.

Maybe I have not played enough with it, but it is a coffee pot with a timer. One thing I do like is the coffee stay hot on the "burner" and never tasted burnt. But it does as it says.. a fancy coffee pot with a fancy timer. Oh, and I recommend a paper filter as the permanent filter allows sludge through...just like all permanent filters.

Bought this for my girlfriend as an early Christmas gift. We wanted something with a timer, but I love the Ninja brand and absolutely love this coffee maker! I only wish I got the one with the attached frother. I love the fact you don’t need to purchase filters because it has one built in already (reusable/ rinseable) and there’s never any grounds in it. 10/10 recommend!

This is a really nice coffee maker - there's really no bells or whistles to it, but there are some nice features that help make it stand out from the pack. First, the carafe is a standard 12-cup size, but what sets this apart is the carafe has a locking lid. Meaning, you can pour without worry of the lid popping off or flipping up. You have to turn it to unlock and remove it - great feature to ensure the coffee brewed stays in the carafe. Another nice feature is the water tank, it's in front of the machine and easily accessible. We replaced another coffee machine who's water tank was in the back. Additionally, there's a place for your coffee scoop on the side, so you don't have to leave the scoop in the coffee grounds. Might seem like nothing, but if you've ever had to dig for your coffee scoop in the grounds, you know how much fun that can be. We didn't notice anything special about the flavor - it tasted like regular coffee. It comes with the basic settings, normal and strong brew options available.

I was worried about overflowing grounds when I saw this machine had a permanent filter but I've made 2 full pots already with no issues. Holds a ton of water in the removable reservoir, an enormous plus, easily fits under my cabinets unlike my previous coffee maker. Using the RICH setting makes the machine pause to brew a little longer, makes a great cup of coffee. Very well built and sturdy, definitely a recommend!

Always had a different brand through the years (Mr.Coffee) but never kept the coffee very warm.. This is a STar maker so easy to use, brews quick an coffee is hot all the way to last cup! We LOVE this coffee maker so much will be the one we would buy again!! Big difference in this unit, as no sloppy water spilling either.. You won't be sorry... worth the price!!! Highly recommended!!!

Glass pot leaks between the plastic rim and glass

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The overall machine works great. The only issue is the design of the glass pot, with incorporates a plastic rim to secure the lid. Basically, when we go to pour a cup of coffee, we end up with spilled coffee all over the countertop. It leaks between the glass pot and that plastic rim. This has also became a problem if we clean and scrub out the pot, soap can get up and in-between the glass and top plastic rim. It is hard to rinse out that soap and it ends up in our drinking coffee. I'm searching for a new coffee maker to purchase with a glass pot that doesnt have a top plastic ring. I will not purchase this model again nor recommend it.

It just makes hot coffee that tastes great. Our old coffeemaker just wasn't putting out a really hot product. This one is great. Love the detachable water reservoir & cone filter rather than a basket type. Only my 2nd Ninja product but they really seem to know what they're doing!!

I have been using a Ninja Coffee Brewer for more than a year and have been very satisfied with it. Recently, I got the new Ninja 12 cup coffee maker from Ninja again, and I had a lot of expectations from it. But frankly, it was a real let down. First of all, though the coffee maker has a “small batch” selector so you can apparently make 1/ cups of coffee instead of a full carafe, it can’t control the amount of water needed automatically (unlike the Auto iQ system of it’s big brother) - you have to make sure you put in the correct amount of water. There’s a “Clean” button on the front panel too. Previous Ninja brewer would prompt you when it’s time to clean the system, whereas in this one you have to figure it out yourself - the “Clean” button only helps you perform the clean cycle. Otherwise, the coffee maker is just like all other 12 cup coffee maker out there. The metal touches and the carafe is well made, and the styling is quite good. The goldtone permanent cone filter is also a nice feature to have - no need to get disposable paper filters anymore. The measuring scoop can be stowed away nicely, but I wish the scoop was a bit more sturdy. The carafe cover has a straw-like system that’s supposed to make coffee flavor better when you’re making a large batch, but I haven’t tasted any difference from conventional units. All in all, this is a decent coffee maker from Ninja that looks cool, and has all the features you need from a standard coffee maker. However, it doesn’t do anything special to stand out from the crowd, and thus it’s difficult to justify the price you’re paying compared to similar units that cost way less.
