The coffee measuring spoon attaches right to the side of the unit and is almost invisible. You can take the coffee grounds out and not worry about drips because they have a two piece filter system - one permanent filter that fits inside a removable non-drip plastic sleeve. Really great idea. It also heats the water differently from their older units and it works great. The final item is it has a heated coffee pot that stays warm longer than their older models’ thermal carafe.

Good drip coffee maker

The mesh filter is good. Some grounds get through, but I like it a lot. It stays warm for up to 4 hours. The only negative is that it is a bit high.

I would have liked if the coffee was made a bit hotter. If you can get It on sale, go for it.

Best looking coffee pot I’ve ever had!
