This was a purchase to replace an average drip machine that replaced an over-the-hill single K-cup brewer. Wife was going to buy a nicer pot and I suggested the Ninja after an email from BB made me aware of the product and a deep discount to boot. Lots of options and positive press persuaded us to order . com and in store pick up. You will need to experiment to find the right grind but this coffee bar will make a great cup with a little patience. After the wife perfected her daily beans she made a weekend carafe and discovered the hot pad that should remain on for two hours shuts off. We tested a couple of pots and realized we had a defect after only a week. Going to Ninja's website revealed this was not an isolated issue but a number of complaints were logged. We exchanged at a different location, but found the same defect across two stores. Contacting support revealed another glitch in the second model: rep suggested we place more water than necessary for our setting, why that would make the warmer act differently is a mystery, but instead of drawing only the water needed for the selection as programmed it drained the overage as well, diluting the pot. This too was not always the case during our tests, but random, and of course provided no solution for the quirk we were troubleshooting. Even a lowly Mr Coffee is programmed to keep the deck warm for longer than 15-20 and manages to do so. Regrettably with the unpredictability documented by others on their support page as well, we elected to return the second unit. It is an ambitious coffee maker that seems to hold a few bugs. I will wait a year to see if a model refresh gets it right as this could be a wonderful product, but currently requires work arounds and indifference to it's flaws to remain on my counter. I do thank BB for allowing our first exchange w/o a box; we were sold on the unit and recycled our packaging before the problems crept up-- great customer service!

Bought this for my wife because she is the only coffee dranker in our house. She loves it. She can make one cup or a pot depending on her needs and it’s quick.

coffee is good with lots of strength/size options. tends to drip on counter when you slide out basket to empty. water resivior is easy to remove and fill.

Bought this ninja coffee maker for my wife and she uses it everyday to make coffee before work. Haven't really tried to make anything to extravagent but will try soon.

I bought this to replace my old keurig. The coffee tastes so much better than the stuff that came from the k cups. I love that I can choose between different sizes.

Had been using a Keurig until I bought this Ninja. I still can make a single cup or a whole or half pot and it's a better coffee than those K-cups, too.

The ability to select a size based on how much brew I need is wonderful. I also love that I can change the strength of the brew with just a simple selector knob.

Love this coffee maker. Unfortunately this is my second one because the first one would never get out of the clean mode. Hopefully this one lasts longer than first one.

Great coffee machine for one cup, a travel mug, half pot or full pot. Also does cold coffee ( which I'm not a fan of, but is a hit when people are over)

Absolutely love this coffee maker! It does all the coffee house style coffees for way cheaper! My kids even love it! Buy it and u won't be disappointed!

This is, by far, my favorite coffee maker. Specialty brew, regular and bold. Espresso, over ice... it has all the options!

Wife is huge coffe lover and the fact that she can make ice coffee and espresso shots won her over this machine. We returned a nespresso for this!

We've had for about 2 months and two things to note: one, the basket filter seems flimsy and the handle has already broken. Two, the clean light came on after only 2 weeks of usage. We use filtered water and have cleaned it twice with straight white vinegar (since the light came on) and the light will not go off. My next step will be descaling solution, but it's hard to believe the sensor is that sensitive and that quick to accumulate!?!? I like the frother and the ability to make one cup at a time, or a half pot of coffee.

I bought it for my sister-in-law for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. She likes tha fact that she can make hot or cold coffee in an instant.

Not the best and surely not worth anything over $75. I paid well over $100 and simply dislike it. It's nice and slimline and it'll brew a pot super quick. But the coffee flavor is never consistent regardless of the ratios. Also, be sure to look at the size of the pot. It's not 10 or 12 cups. It's more like 5-6 cups. And I'm talking MEASURING cups, not cups of coffee. Other than that it's a regular coffee maker that is undersized and inconsistent yet brews very quickly. Save your money and buy a regular coffee pot.
