Makes coffee, it can make one cup only, a travel mug size, half of a pot and a full pot of coffee. I have had many different cheap coffee makers that work just fine. This coffee maker works ok, BUT if you make a full pot of coffee on a regular brew strength, the water overflows the filter and you get grounds in your coffee. If you use the reusable filter that comes with the machine it hasn't overflowed on me yet but you get fine grounds with it. I have tried a few different makes of filters and have had no luck. The only real nice thing is the water container is removable and dishwasher safe. So yes it makes ok coffee but not worth $150 or whatever it was, my old $30 coffee makers are just as good

Great coffee maker! WE are very happy with the performance. Makes coffee quickly and tastes great! Ninja is putting out some quality products out there, would certainly recommend to a friend!

Love the thermal carafe. Frother is manual and just ok. Chose this one for the carafe. Keeps coffee warm for a couple hours. Other option is to get other model with built in frother and buy a thermal carafe because it comes with glass.

I haven't used all of the setting yet, but the classic and rich brews are excellent! This does brew a little bit more coffee per cup than most single cup brewers. It warms up fast, and brews a nice cup of coffee nice and hot.

Splurged on this instead of buying another cheap coffee pot. It's great having so many options. We've used it daily for a few weeks now and it's been great from full pots to specialty drinks.

I have had 2 keurig die on me in the past 2 1/2 years. Thought I would give this one a try. Love the versatility of making a cup for me or making a full pot when I have house guests. I wish the water reservoir was larger but overall happy with it.

This is the best coffee maker I have owned. The versatility is what sets it apart. It makes a great cup of coffee and the carafe keeps the coffee hot for a couple of hours.

This is an excellent coffee maker in comparison to regular drip coffee. Has a convenient variety of amount of coffee needed from a cup, few cups to a whole pot. The metal carafe keeps coffee warm and keeps it fresh.

Purchased because I was tired of resetting the timer on my other pot. Brews very strong coffee. Took some practice to get it right. Carafe keeps coffee hot for hours.

Really like this coffee maker as it uses a carafe to keep the coffee warm or sometimes even hot. Does not keep heating the coffee & making it taste burnt

I purchased this to replace a Keurig coffee maker and have not been disappointed! It makes wonderful coffee and even came with a device to make froth for a more delicious drink!

Easy to use and makes hot coffee fast thanks to preheat feature. We use filtered water and still had to run a clean cycle after three months. I am assuming it will last a long time if the sensor is that sensitive.

I swapped this item for my Keruig. Thought I'd try it out for real tasting coffee and acoid dealing with kcups and havnt looked back. Easy to use, fast and quick!

This is replacing my stove top espresso coffee maker. It has the same great taste and the stainless steel crafte keeps the coffee warm for hours. Highly recommended.
