Love the Ninja coffee make. The thermal carafe keeps my coffee hot all day.

Ninja does a lot of good things, but coffee pots are not those good things. Ninja replaced this coffee pot 2x with a like model, and 1x with the upgraded model, and they all failed. If I were reading this I would assume that it might be the user, but really, it's not hard to use a coffee maker. Each machine had the same issue - it would brew for about 5seconds, and then shut off. Ninja gains the bonus start for good customer support, and because i did actually like each coffee pot for the few months that they worked, but for $170, you would hope to get more than a a combined years worth of use (that's right, 1 year for all 4 coffee makers in total). I finally decided it was not worth sending it back for replacement and bought a behmor (which I am in love with even 1.5 years later)

This coffee bar is awesome. Love being able to brew a pot or a cup with one unit.

Minus 2/4 star because I can never get the "clean" light to go out, no matter how many times I clean it. Minus another 1/2 star because I paid extra for the thermal carafe version and it doesn't keep the coffee hot or warm, at all. Finally, minus 2 full stars because it is temperamental: It will frequently no complete the brew cycle. I believe this is related to the "clean" issue noted above. To compensate, I often have to set the serving size to 1/2 or full pot, then just fill the receiver with only a single cup's worth of water. This mostly works. However sometimes it will simply refuse to brew: I start it and it will immediately beep (as if brewing is complete) and shut off. It didn't start this behavior until after the return period expired, else I would have returned it. It's a shame because the above issues detract a lot from an otherwise very good coffee maker.

I really like the easy to clean stainless steel coffee pot.

This is just an OK unit which is surprising for a Ninja. The water that you place in the tank doesnt coincide with what is brewed. The unit we purchased needed to be replaced as it stopped working within the first month. Best Buy replaced it without a hitch.

The problem with the product is that it works only 50 percent of the time. To make my morning coffee I have to stand next to the machine to restart it all the time. I get this 7 beep sound for no reason, even when the machine has just been cleaned.

Got a great deal (Deal of the Day) so definitely worth it for $100.
