This is my first cold press juicer, I have a centrifugal juicer I stopped using due to the hassle, clean up, and difficulty of use. The Ninja Cold Press Juicer fixes all of those issues. In the box is a housing with power cord, auger, food tray, press, juice chamber with interchangeable pulp filters (none, some, and lots of pulp), a drip eliminator, juice container, and pulp container. Assembly was easy, plug in housing, set filter in chamber, press to insert auger, twist to install chamber into housing, and set containers in place. For my first test, I selected the orange colored insert, which is for lots of pulp, to make orange juice. Peel orange, quarter them, and then quickly feed through the press. I was able to get a full cup of juice out of one medium sized orange. The amount of juice per orange is a huge improvement over my centrifugal juicer and lots of pulp is the same as you'd expect from a high pulp juice at the store. Another great feature is the ability to juice something, pour it into a cup and not make a huge mess. On the side of the chamber is a drip barrier, you flip into place to stop juice flow, and then flip open to resume juicing. Since orange juice went so quickly, I decided to throw a bit more at it, literally. I wanted to try homemade V8. I left the high pulp filter on, and started with tomatoes. They were a bit slower going, as I had to stop a few times, and use the button on the back of the housing to reverse the auger. Being patient was the key, and after letting the auger run for a minute without adding more food, the remaining juice filtered through. Next were the carrots, instructions advise on 2 inch sections, which the juicer powered through with ease. I then proceeded to juice celery, garlic, onion, all with ease and no clogging. I've also made a few other juices, to include the ginger / carrot / orange juice recipe that comes with the juicer, all of it turns out great. The only reason I took off a star is the fact that you have to pause and wait for the auger to work to get all of the juice out of the chamber. After waiting, as well as reversing the auger, it would always clear after one to two minutes. I don't know if I would have the same success making V8 with medium or no pulp filters. The other mildly annoying item is the location of the power and reverse button on the back of the housing versus on the side so its easy to see and reach from where you need to be to juice, not having to reach around to locate them. I think the biggest pro is that this juicer is able to power through anything you can fit in the feed tube, from carrots to strawberries and yields far more juice than other types of juicers on the market. Afterwards disassembly and clean up is easy, remove juice chamber, pulp filter, and auger to wash.

The Ninja, Cold Press Juicer Pro is a fairly simple and straightforward Juicer to use. Assembly isn't complicated, nor is its operation. The unit comes with the basic tools required to do a good job of juicing your favorite products and is easy to clean up when you're finished. A few notes about the operation I took notice of in the week or so of trying this thing out. One, the general guideline laid out in the manual is that 1 lb. of product will produce around 8 oz. of juice. Obviously this is highly dependent on the juiciness of the what you are processing and the time of season. I ran through several pounds of very juicy mandarin oranges and that 'rule of thumb' applied, 1 lb. equaled 8 oz. of highly concentrated juice. This was with the 'some pulp' filter. Honestly, I can't imagine ever using the 'no pulp' option as it would get pretty clogged up - fast - just like the 'some pulp' did. And the amount of pulp that made its way into the pitcher was still light with the middle filter attachment. Another thing I learned in using the Ninja Cold Press Juicer Pro and never really thought about previously is that the resulting extraction is going to be very concentrated. What's the obvious remedy? Simply add some filtered water to your liking. When you factor this in, the true end result is much more drinkable juice for the effort involved. Lastly, the Ninja Cold Press Juicer Pro is going to be require a lot more effort & produce to generate a fair amount of apple or carrot juice. So be prepared. Using this machine will open your eyes to the what really goes into producing prepackaged, high quality juices from the grocery store. Pros: Easy to setup and operate Easy to clean Produces consistent juice texture with the 'some' and 'lots' of pulp filter inserts Cons: Becomes clogged up easily, requiring frequent debridement The 'no pulp' filter is almost completely unusable because of this At this price point, I would only recommend the Ninja Cold Press Juicer Pro to the most ardent of homemade juice lovers.

This was very disappointing. We even read reviews. However it struggles with items like pineapple and other softer fruits and vegetables. It does better with things like carrots and apple. We even use the lots of pulp and still have problems with it juicing. We wished that we would have gone with the other brand that was the centrifuge. This product needs some major upgrades to make it efficient.

The Ninja Cold Press Juicer Pro adds to my collection of Ninja products that truly are impressive. The motor base of the juicer is built very well and has a good amount of weight to it. Once you wash all the plastic pieces and dry them well it is pretty simple to put everything together an start juicing. Once you have your fruit or vegetables cut up into 2 inch pieces as suggested then you simply place the fruit in the chute and allow the juicer to do it's magic. I initially made a refreshing carrot ginger and apple juice that was absolutely better than any juice you can buy at the store. Once you are done juicing you can slide the cover closed under the extraction spout so that juice does not leak onto your counter while you pour it This juicer definitely extracts much more juice than my centrifugal juicer however you have to understand that you will need a decent amount of fruit/veg to make a lot of juice. As a bonus you can use the pulp and bake some delicious muffins or bread so that nothing goes to waste. The main reason that I don't like using my centrifugal juicer is because clean-up is a hassle. The same can not be said about this juicer. Dismantling and clean-up of this juicer was very easy, so easy in fact that I have had no issue using this juicer everyday since I received it. I look forward to making some delicious juices everyday and I would recommend this juicer to anyone looking for a way to make some healthy juices at home

The Ninja Cold Press juicer pro surprised me a bit. Its not an expensive option if you look at the juicer landscape but it doesn't cut costs at areas that have a negative effect to the consumer in my opinion. It is a simple to use juicer, no one should have an issue of what button to press or what speed to run it in etc. Its a matter of turning it on or off(it also has a reverse feature). If you are not planning on keeping it on your counter then the good thing is it seems to be very compact for storage, but on the other hand it is also a very good looking product and I have no issue leaving it on my counter. The size is a very big + for me. Sound? well its a juicer so you cant make it stealthy silent but no different then other juicers out there. Keep in mind it is a powerful high torque motor, otherwise you would be fighting with getting juice out of it. Use: Very quick and does an awesome job. I mostly use it for apples, bananas and beets as my staple of what I make so I have no problem at all. Cleaning: I like the brush that comes with it as it is nice to get to the hard to reach areas. Overall it is sooooooooo easy to clean. Just make sure like anything you clean it after each use and you wont have any issues. Great product and nice color option too I love the graphite look with my dark counter space.

    Excellent Addition To Any Kitchen

I've owned a few juicers over the years, yet prior to getting this one, there hadn't been one among my kitchen appliance setup in quite some time. The reason is simple. The low to midrange priced options usually either juice well -or- are easy to clean. You rarely see a moderately priced option that is both. This offering from Ninja, however, solidly bucks that trend. All components are well made and sturdy. Nothing at all feels remotely cheap. The motor is strong and easily provides the necessary torque to juice anything you throw into the chute. I've made orange, apple, carrot, and cucumber juice thus far and all came out perfectly. Where this machine really shines though, is how absolutely dead simple it is to clean. Other than the base containing the motor all parts are dishwasher safe if you prefer to go that route. I will say, however, that hand washing the components takes practically no time at all and the included cleaning brush is a big help. All in all, I am very satisfied with this juicer and I can see it having a permanent home among my countertop appliances. I love Ninja products, and they're pretty reliably awesome. So I had pretty high expectations for this juicer. The juicer comes with different sieve pieces that allow for no pulp, low, mid, and high pulp from the juicer. A spiral corkscrew mechanism pushes the pulp into the bin while the juice flows out of the spigot into the juice cup. All the pieces are labeled as being dishwasher safe, but I'm just not sure about potentially ruining the various pieces. That being said, we probably make things a bit more difficult for ourselves by not just tossing everything in the dishwasher after we're through. Pulp pieces will sometimes slide into the corkscrew, working its way into the tube of the juicer. The seal just isn't strong enough to prevent all food from working its way into the channel. Orange juice and carrot juice are staples in our house these days, and they work well. And then we can give the pulp for baking. So the byproducts can even be used. But for us, the main sticking point is the sheer number of pieces that have to be cleaned after each use. TL;DR: If you're ok just throwing everything into the dishwasher after every use, then this will be another Ninja slam dunk. If you're a handwashing-type, then this machine may give you stress.

The juicer is extremely easy to use and more importantly the juice is rich and pulp free. I used the centrifugal juicers before and they were a pain to clean and juice was always foamy and you had to let it settle before drinking. I genuinely love the space saver design and the ease at cleaning the parts makes you want to use it again and again. I genuinely have no complaints so far and the included recipe book allows for some delicious creations. Great Juicer and great quality!
