Customers are pleased with the Combi All-in-One Multicooker's ease of use, fast cooking times, and effective air fryer function. Many appreciate its compact size and stylish design, while some found the capacity suitable for family-sized meals. However, a few users experienced issues with the toasting function and found the instructions somewhat unclear. Overall, the positive feedback on ease of use and cooking speed outweighs the negative comments regarding toasting and instructions.

Plenty going on
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently had a chance to check out this multi-cooker. There’s a lot going on with it, in a good way, and I’ll try to cover as much as I can here. Out of the box, this isn’t anything fancy, very much a what you see is what you get situation with the device, cooking pan, trays, instructions/recipe guides, etc. No fancy packaging which is more than common for kitchen appliances, especially Ninja, so I’m not docking them for that. The device itself is sleek with a black/stainless steel look and a digital display that should compliment most modern kitchens. In regards to a Lehmans comparison in sizing, this is akin to a large air fryer or convection oven but smaller than most microwaves. It’ll take up a lot of counter space but not a deal breaker. I cleaned the pans/device (as you should) with soap and water after unpacking. While you’ll always need to hand-clean the device, the internal accessories can just go in the dishwasher which is nice. The main two selling points here is that the device can do so much. Without listing everything, it can air fry, bake, toast, broil, sear, etc. Due to its versatility, you can really rest easy and rely on the device to replace many other devices you may already be using. Secondly, and arguably most importantly is that it can do two things at once, such as you can bake some chicken on the top of the interior shelf while cooking pasta or steaming rice on the bottom part. There’s a little lever on top of the device that you’ll move back and forth depending on if you’re wanting the device to run a singular function or use the multi-cooker. Again, it all loops back to being versatile and using this as an easy replacement for other devices. Cooking was a snap and I tried a few recipes out of the guide, my favorite of which was the Italian sausage and marinara pasta (so far). All of the recipes are easy to do, give proper timing and measurements, including serving size and ease of recipe as well so you can start slow and work up to more “difficult” recipes. I was particularly surprised at how the pasta and rice have always turned out as they’re never wet, never overcooked, never sticky, and really operate as a well tuned machine. The display lets you pick your method of cooking, temperature, time, has a light display, start/stop, and a power button. Times will preemptively populate if you’re selecting something like pizza, and you can even select how many slices you’re reheating, which is an easy win. A few small things I noticed that I liked too was that at any point during cooking, you can open the door to check on/stir food and while closing it, the timer will just pick up where you left off. Additionally, the light always seems to come on with 30 seconds left, making it easy to determine if your food is ready without having to open up and lose the heat. Afterwards, I was pleased to find that nothing was overcooking or dirtying up the device which made interior cleanup a breeze while I just threw the accessories in the dishwasher. My only gripes here come to the sizing as you could probably get away with cooking for 3-4 people but likely 1-2 is what you’re going to end up with at this size of a machine. It was a little unclear when steaming/preheating how long things will take and the status of that, but it seems to be a progress bar that loads up and seemingly most things end up taking around 5min to preheat but again, it’s not too clear. While I can certainly get behind the device, the folks who will get the most out of it are those using it in a smaller kitchen space or wanting to downside. If I didn’t have an oven for example or even stove and wanted an air fryer, this is perfect as it replaces so much. That said, there’s always a lot going on with the device so a bit of a learning curve regarding what accessories you’ll need to use and what shelf they need to go on and what setting you’ll need to cook at, so you’ll definitely want to use the recipe book for a long while until you’re used to it. All in all, two thumbs up from me!

The most useful thing in my kitchen
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really didn't think I'd like a piece of kitchen hardware this much, but I do. It's just so versatile. I haven't even got done exploring all this thing has to offer because quite frankly I don't even know what to do with some of it, like the sous-vide cooker. But here's what I can say about what I actually know how to use. The Combi Meals function is great. I've mainly made things like spaghetti and meatballs or alfredo Mac and Cheese with chopped bratwurst, but it's been really great for this. It feels like some of the flavor of the meat usually manages to get into the pasta while cooking, but what I can say for more certain is that the instructions to cook the pasta in its sauce have led to much more flavor in the pasta as well as a whole lot less time standing about and staring at a pot - which is appreciated, because I'm busy these days. The air fryer function is also nice, as is the bake option, etc. While, in my opinion, the Combi Meals and Combi Bake functions are the real stars of the show, it's just nice to have all of these functions in one machine so I don't have to have so many different appliances scattered about. The functions all work well, and selecting what you want it to do is fairly intuitive. Ninja made the entire work flow pretty easy, to be honest: pick your mode, select your temperature, hit the start button. There's also a little button to toggle the interior light, which is nice to have when you're wondering if something is getting close to done. I think my favorite thing about the Combi is that Ninja included a pretty detailed instruction manual and recipe book. There are just so many things you can cook with this! It's honestly impressive to look at, particularly since the recipes in the book are of course just a subset of what you can actually do. But the important thing is, there's enough in there that it's easy to get an understanding of what exactly this machine is capable of and start working from there. The pans included are great. The nonstick coating is just absolutely perfect. I've never had an issue trying to get them clean after making a meal. However, make sure you're careful with them - I made some pasta to share with a guest and they scratched the bottom pan with a metal spoon while filling their plate. They said that they didn't use a lot of force and were surprised when it was scratched, so I'm just avoiding using metal utensils near it at all. I imagine this is probably considered common sense for nonstick cookware, but it was something that slipped my mind and ended up leading to the thing getting scratched. I think the only thing I dislike about the Combi is that you have to be careful where you put it. There's an exhaust vent on the top, and it can put out a *lot* of steam. This can damage your cabinets if you put it under them, so I have to move it forward when I use it. Overall though, I think the Ninja Combi is an absolutely great piece of hardware. I really love having it in my kitchen, and everyone seems to like the meals I make with it when I have guests over. More than a few of my guests openly stated they were jealous and wanted one for themselves. So, yeah - I think this is a really good purchase to make. I'd *highly* recommend it.

This Ninja is a cooking Ninja!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was anxious to give this Ninja a try because it has a wide variety of cook functions, including Combi meals, Combi crisp, Combi bake, air fry, bake, broil, pizza, steam, proof, rice/pasta, toast, sear/saute, slow cook and sous vide. That sounds overwhelming, but it is very easy to use and the directions for each function are fairly simple. I started with a simple Combi Crisp of boneless chicken breasts. It cooked them perfectly with a grilled type finish on the outside, and a juicy interior. The recommended cook time worked well with no need for additional minutes. Next, I tried the air fry function with some thinly sliced potatoes. Again, the instructions were simple and thorough, and the fries were slightly crunching on the outside and soft on the inside. Loved them. My final test was a Combi Meal. This involves a starch cooked in liquid in the bottom pan, and vegetables and a protein on the top shelf. All cooked at once in a short amount of time. I chose a boxed long grain and wild rice, carrots and boneless chicken breasts. The instructions indicated an amount of water with the rice that was slightly less than the box instructions. I split the difference on the water amount as I was afraid the rice wouldn’t be fully cooked. The carrots and chicken were perfectly roasted, the rice had a bit too much water. I was able to take out the carrots and chicken and cook the rice a few more minutes to resolve that issue. I should have followed the instructions in the Combi cook chart! I haven’t tried the other functions yet, but the results from the three I have tested indicate that the other functions will work as desired. The oven seems to hold a constant temperature as needed, the steam element works well in the Combi process and it browns meat well. The recipes in the Inspiration Guide, which is included, indicate serving 4-6 or 6-8 people. I feel like based on the oven size and the amount of food that fits well in the trays, this is much more suited for 2-4 servings. The best part about this device is that it takes the guess work out of preparing a balanced meal and does so quickly, with great results. This multi cooker is perfect for those new to cooking and those with limited time to prepare meals. It is also a great purchase for those looking for one device that will cover a wide variety of functions. I highly recommend the Ninja Combi All-in-One Multi Cooker!

A versatile machine
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bottom Line: The Ninja Combi All-in-One can bake, steam, and air fry, but it’s not quite as easy to use or efficient as the individual appliances it intends to replace. Pros: versatile all-in-one; can cook complete (Combi) meals at one time. Cons: needs careful placement if steaming; not intuitive or as efficient as using individual appliances. Review: The Ninja Combi delivers on its advertised features of offering multiple cooking modes and multi-cooking 15 minute meals. It does this with two heating elements: a top broiler (and fan) and a bottom element that directly heats the Combi pan (a deep pan). The unit also includes a shallow baking tray and a crisper tray that fits inside the Combi pan to elevate food off the bottom (essentially what you would get in a typical air fryer). There are two tray levels, which, when combined with different heating options, leads to several, versatile cooking options. In our experience, the air frying works just as well as a standalone unit, and we’ve successfully made everything we’ve tried from the included booklet/inspiration guide. I was also pleasantly surprised at how well Combi meals turned out, which allows you to cook a grain (rice/pasta) in the Combi pan while also cooking vegetables and proteins on the baking try at the same time. That said, the Combi meals generate a lot of steam, which vents out of the top of the unit. We had to place the unit on the edge of our countertop and turn it at an angle so the steam wouldn’t hit the front of our cabinets. Last, one of the challenges of a multi-function appliance is that it is not as intuitive or as efficient as individual appliances. For instance, toast gets made in the Combi pan placed on level 2, and takes slightly over six minutes. My wife attempted to heat up a Pop Tart on the the baking tray on level 1 and ended up charring most of it, so there is a learning curve to using the machine.

Wonderful!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simply another superb product from Ninja! I’ve had a chance to use this product now for about a month and have cooked numerous meals from the recipe book that this product contains inside. It is rather quite amazing that it cooks different items at the same time and does it very well! The unit is very solidly built and comes with a crisper pan, bake pan and the combi pan, all of which seem to be made with the same quality as the unit itself. I have tried just about all the settings on this unit over the month and after the first few meals I got the hang of the machine quickly enough to not have to refer to the operating instructions. Having made about 15 of the meals in the handy recipe book, I can safely say that they all turned out wonderful except for one little mishap on my part during making a pizza. I was skeptical that one could cook chicken or fish on one tray and potatoes, pasta, vegetables on another and have it come out cooked well and finish at the same time. This unit performs very well on both aspects. After the above mentioned meals, I have experimented with my own recipes and cook times which have also come out well. On a side note, I have an adult son with special needs who does not use a stovetop or oven but cooks with an air fryer and microwave on his own. I taught him some simple recipes using this machine and he loves using it. As we begin transitioning him to his own place with our help, this unit will be going with him so he can make his favorite meals. All in all, Ninja has a winner with this product!

Easy, Simple, One Appliance Meals
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow. This has changed the game for me with meals I can cook for myself easily. Especially for pasta based dishes. It's always so annoying having to work with multiple pots and appliances and try to time everything up together so it all comes out fresh at the same time... but not anymore! Simply put seasoned meat and veggies on the top and your base (pasta or rice generally) on the bottom and set for the recommended time and temperature in the manual and you're good to go. This unit also makes a pretty solid air fryer even if it lacks in capacity compared to most dedicated air fryers. If you want easy meals for the whole family with minimal cleanup required, this is a must have for any kitchen. I do often cook for just 1-2 people so another drawback that applies to me specifically is that the recommended time and temperature settings are designed for meals feeding 4-6 and it can be a bit difficult to adjust. That's a very very minor inconvenience however as simply monitoring what you're cooking offsets this issue. Instructions are simple, keypad interface is easy to use, and the included cooking surfaces are easy to clean. Definitely pick this up for simple, weeknight cooking.

This is a must have for single guy!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I coulda admit that I was a little skeptical really didn't expect to much from this air fryer because I was so happy with my Ninja Foodie, and I hate to say it, but this is definitely replacing Ninja Foodie! I'm not a person who typically cooks and try to use a whole bunch of different features. I usually have about two or three different features that I like to cook with. Air fry, sear/ sauté, and steam are the ones I use the most as of right now. I think because I'm used to either boiling or baking my bratwurst, I really don't like it cooked and this oven. I think it comes out a little bit too crispy and I don't like my bratwurst like that. You also have to make sure that you put the right pans in the right areas inside the oven or your food will not turn out right as I learned the hard way. My favorite meal to make is baked chicken with roasted potatoes, carrots, and onions! Today I went shopping just buy different foods to make. I'm going to try country style ribs and butter noodles and I'm also going to try air fried chicken with rice. Almost everything I've made to this point, except when I put the wrong pans in the wrong places, came out really fast and really good! I definitely recommend trying this out if do you love to cook but don't have the time like myself.

Has promise for a more experienced cook
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If this just billed itself as an air fryer, it might do better. It does seem to be really trying to be an answer to all the meal services by enabling people to easily make a whole meal in one fell swoop. Unfortunately, the recipes and instructions are off. I feel like with time I’ll figure it out and make adjustments needed to use it more successfully. But, if you are not a cook already with some instincts and are looking for instructions to follow to the letter, you may get inconsistent cooks. As an air fryer, which is really what I wanted it for, it seems to work well. Again, you just have to watch things or know how long to cook them without following the instructions that come with the Combi. One of the best differentiators of this air fryer is that the basket is not plastic. I’ve hesitated to get an air fryer because I hear people complain that their food tastes plastic. So, this is a big plus. The first thing I did was “fry” some tofu. I googled how long to cook it since it was my first time and it came out great. In fact, it was crispier than actual fried tofu I had gotten at a Chinese restaurant recently. I then read in the little quick start machine guide that when you’re air frying you should put water in the tray below the fryer rack. I did this with some potato wedges and it worked well and the timing recommended in the recipe book seemed accurate. Then I made the brussel sprouts recipe from the book. The instructions in the recipe do not say to put water in the tray, so I didn’t. I don’t know if water would have helped but the toppings you toss the sprouts in were starting to burn and the sprouts were definitely done before the time was up. I then fried a regular batch of brussel sprouts following the cooking guide, putting water in the pan and frying for 10 minutes, then tossed them with my balsamic and parmesan after cooking, and it worked great. So, while the result can be good with the air fryer function, the instructions are inconsistent so you just have to go with some instinct and watch the food. I then was pleasantly surprised to see the machine has a sous vide function. I’ve contemplated getting a sous vide so was excited to try it. The instructions here are pretty short-changed. Since this was the first time I’d done anything sous vide, I had no instincts to go no. I wanted to try it on a single chicken breast. The instructions are for 4 breasts and to cook for 1-3 hours. That’s a big range. I started with just one hour and measured the internal temp but it wasn’t where chicken should be so put it back in for another 30 minutes and checked again to find the internal temp had not gone up at all but it felt very done. And it was done – actually overdone, so I think the nature of sous vide may change how you check for doneness. I will have to do more research if I want to use this feature again. Since the machine is really billing itself as a Combi cooker, I thought maybe the instructions for the meals would be more reliable. Not so. I made the Salmon with brown rice and broccoli. I questioned brown rice cooking with that little water and that little time but thought maybe there was something about the Combi that cooked it differently, so I followed the instructions to the letter. It did not work out at all. The rice need way more water and way more time to cook. The salmon needed way less time to cook. I’m not even sure about the broccoli it looked like it had been boiled too long but was still very al dente. The flavor of the recipe was good; just the instructions are off. My recommendation is follow your instincts. If you know brown rice doesn’t cook with a 1:1 ration of liquid to rice and for less time than regular white rice, adjust the recipe. This could prove challenging for a less experienced cook. So, all in all, I feel it has promise and could be a great option for someone with limited space or time to cook. But, the recipes and instructions need work if it wants to be so many things. I will probably just use is as an air fryer.

Wonderful appliance!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m loving this Ninja - Combi All-in-One Multicooker, Oven, & Air Fryer, Combi Cooker + Air Fry - Stainless Steel product! Having 14 functions is a blessing as it is capable of combination meals, crisping, baking, pasta and rice, and then some! This Ninja product is a super and it’s awesome and modern looking. It fits my kitchen decorum perfectly which is stainless steel. This oven really can replace all of the other appliances I own and looks great on my countertop. This appliance is capable of all types of functions such typical baking and does an outstanding job at air frying and crisping. The controls are easy to use and master. I love the fact that you can prepare a complete meal in about fifteen minutes and can combine various items at the same time saving valuable time with the food preparation. I like the hyper-steam and air fry combination which cooks my food perfectly. This combination ensures even cooking and does a wonderful job while crisping. I tried some chicken strips, fries and pasta for starters. The results were fantastic and I was very pleased with the results. Clean up was quick and easy with the pan. A little soap and water worked fine for me. This item comes standard with a recipe book which I found to be very helpful, a pan and a bake tray. I highly recommend this appliance.

Awesome combo kitchen appliance
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really exciting product and it performs very well. I want to get out of the way why I rated at 4 stars vs five...the size. It is a large appliance and can be difficult to find a place to store when not in use. Other than that, it cooks flawlessly, the air fryer is great, but the combi function really has the ability to do so so much. If you take some time to read the instructions and recipe guide, it is amazing how many different meals you can make and how many different cooking styles there are to get the meal made right. The controls are a simple design that are user friendly and it is hard to mess up the settings, temp, and time you desire. The pans it comes with are a fairly heavy duty build and I anticipate a long life of making amazing meals without waiting for the main oven to preheat forever. If you are cooking for two or have kids that like quickly prepared frozen foods like chicken nuggets, pierogies, pizza, etc, this makes the process easier, quicker, and much faster than the oven. Drop the old air fryer and grab this for some multifunction cooking!

Very nice airfryer/cooker combo
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this ninja combi up to utilize in place of my older 8 quart standard airfryer. As my kids have grown, the amount of food to feed then has gone up, so that one was not making enough stuff at a time. This is able to do 2 levels of chicken strips, or a pizza on top and ships below. A standard 12 inch frozen pizza fits in this. There are settings for pizza and toast and several other things on there. The thing that I was most curious to try was the cooking rice feature. 2 cups of brown rice, 4 cups of water (or broth or whatever), put on combicook and push rice and go. About 25 minutes and it was done perfectly. Not able to do that with the old airfryer. This comes with a airfry bake tray, airfry pan, and the airfry crisper tray. There is a light in there and a clear front that you can look at the progress of your food. So far, I really like the capacity, and the cleanup with the pans makes it so much easier than my old bin style one. I can do 2 pizza's in here if i want, (upper and lower rack). Overall, pleased with this purchase and will continue to use it often.

Now Enjoy High-End Restaurant Taste at Home
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This wonderous kitchen gadget has revolutionized cooking, and gets you eating faster. Cookies in 11 mins without parchment paper or oven burns. Chicken wings or drumsticks in 22 minutes. Can cook a 5 lb chicken in 30 mins. whereas the oven takes 2 hours. It can bake, broil, saute, slow cook, make toast, etc. It has about 14 different features to prepare foods with the Combi setting with steam, or with the air fryer setting. All choices are listed permanently on the door. The cooking manual includes easy to follow temperature and time settings, as well as cooking suggestions, and recipes. It also comes with nonstick cookware, and all the unit needs is a basic wipe down after use to keep it clean. It has totally replaced my air fryer. I honestly can't remember the last time I used my apt's stove.

Jack of all trades, master of none
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ninja is at it again with a “miracle” all in one cooker that promises to replace several kitchen appliances in a single device, and even cook differently for different areas at once. Can it live up to this lofty goal? Let’s find out. In the box is the cooker, manual, and the various trays and accessories that it needs to perform is cooking functions. It has a nice display and control panel area, along with a ton of selections for the different cooking methods this unit provides. Essentially, this unit is a table top convection oven with a high power fan and heating element to air fry. The air fryer pan is not deep, so some of the utility is limited. The manual also suggests shaking the contents from time to time, which is easy with a traditional air fryer with a basket and a handle, but a big challenge for a shallow pan in an oven. My real issue lies with the “steam” and sous vide modes, which are accomplished by just baking water in a pan. In the case of steam, it boils the water and makes steam, but it isn’t made outside of the unit and released in or taking the direct heat of a cooktop. For sous vide, it’s almost comical. Essentially you are warming things in bags in a pan of still water. Sous vide requires an immersion circulator that is in the water, circulating it continually over your food, and is able to provide ultra accurate temperature control. An oven with no circulation simply can’t replicate the results of a proper immersion circulator, and it’s a bridge too far for this unit. All of this leaves me somewhat confused about what the purpose of this thing is. If you need a tabletop oven that can also air fry and only have space or budget for a single appliance, this might be a fit for you. For everyone else, there are much better ways to air fry, sous vide, and otherwise prepare meals, many of which are provided by Ninja’s other products.

This is an awesome air fryer/oven combo!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have really enjoyed this air fryer/toaster oven combo. It is very easy to use out of the box. First, it is an air fryer. The settings are very easy to use. I have air fried chicken, burritos, vegetables, French Fries and fish. They all turned out delicious. The air fryer settings are very easy to use. The space for air frying has large volume for excellent amount of food at one time. Each crispy item came out perfect. The air fryer pan is extremely easy to clean. Second, the toaster oven function is second to none. I have baked chicken, pizza, cookies and pork chops! The preheating is very quick and then setting your time, presto done perfectly! The cooking test is plenty big to fit an entree for a family of four. Also, clean up is a snap! Now a feature that really blew my mind is you can air fry and bake at the same time! This is awesome for a main course and a side to be ready together at the same time. It allows you to have all of your meal ready at the same time using one unit. This is an amazing product that if you are looking for an air fryer, toaster oven or combo you will absolutely love!
