Creami Deluxe Pros: 1. Its the best ice cream maker with just three easy steps. Prepare the base, freeze it overnight and process. I was quite amazed by the power of this machine. I was wondering how this machine is going to perform with the base being frozen for over 24 hours. But this machine really crushed the ice in couple of minutes and i was surprised to see the ice cream already ready. All that we need is patience for 24 hours to get the base frozen. Later it is just a few minutes that we have to spare to get delightful ice cream or frozen drink. 2. 2 Large Containers (24 oz. each) with wide variety of options like Ice cream, Lite Ice cream, Sorbet, Gelato, Frozen Yogurt, Italian Ice, Creamicinno, Frozen Drink, Slushi, Milkshake. Some of the options like Frozen Yogurt, Italian Ice, Creamicinno, Frozen Drink are present only in this Deluxe version and not in the Standard version. 3. Easy to install jar. In the standard version it was required to slide the pitcher underneath the shaft, move the pitcher left and right so that it locks and then lock it. There are chances that we might hit the shaft on the top or ridges on the bottom on the standard version. Very easy to line it up on the Creami Deluxe, push it straight and lock it. 4. Illuminated Touch buttons on the Standard version has been replaced with the Dial on the Deluxe. Also the alignment of Scoopable options (Ice cream, Lite Ice cream, Sorbet, Gelato, Frozen Yogurt, Italian Ice) on the left and drinkable options (Creamicinno, Frozen Drink, Slushi, Milkshake) on the right makes it easy to choose. 5. Progress bar on Standard version has been replaced with the minutes indicator which gives an idea how much time it is going to take for each setting. 6. Mix in option - For mixing M&Ms or Chocolate chips or Oreo cookies. Very good option to get a professional/industrial task done but from the home. 7. Respin option - Used when we need to respin if the ice cream looks more granular. This setting is realy quick and doesn't take much time. 8. Containers, lids, and paddle are top-rack dishwasher safe and easy to wash. 9. Recipe book is included and hundreds of recipes are available online Cons: 1. This machine is a little loud but you cannot complain much if you really love ice cream. 2. Only one color option to choose from instead of 4 different colors(Blue, Red, Cloud Silver and White) in the Standard version Differences between Creami Standard and Deluxe version 1. Illuminated Touch buttons on the Standard has been replaced with the Dial 2. Deluxe has Large container, bigger lid, bigger blades - 3 cups (24 ozs) instead of 2 cups (16 ozs). 3. Deluxe has nice Jar design 4. Deluxe has the ability to process Full or Top half or the Bottom half of the container. Option to just process just the top half and save the rest for the future is a nice feature which might be helpful for many. 5. Progress bar on Standard version has been replaced with the minutes indicator which gives an idea how much time it is going to take for each setting. 6. Upgrade decision from Creami to Creami Deluxe: 1. Only if you need a bigger container go for the Creami Deluxe First time buying: If you really don't worry about the quantity and if don't want to spend 20$ extra, you can go for Creami Standard model. If you want 3 cups instead of 2 cups and don't worry about spending the extra 20$, Creami Deluxe is the one for you.

Best buy app defaulted to my original address....even though i had changed it at time of order. I called them. They said they changed the shipping address for me and that it would still be delivered on time. However the next day, shipping showed delivery was pushed back for 2 weeks. So i called back in to customer service and had the order cancelled. Just found out that the item was delivered to the wdong address. Several states away. Dont have the watch or my refund. Lost $400

Good for making shakes but for icecream there are still ice cristals

Very disappointed! This machine is so loud when in use. It only makes small amounts of ice cream. Ninja let me down with this.

You can’t go wrong with ninja products. Works great and very satisfied with the appliance. Only issue is I wish it was delivered inside an additional box due to the original box coming damaged and it was a Christmas gift that was seen by the recipient.

It makes some weird version of frozen cream that has the texture of butter. 10 batches later not one edible batch of ice cream. I have tried many versions of recipes using heavy cream, whipping cream, half and half, whole milk. All of them come out the same, gross with vanilla or chocolate settled on the bottom and icicles on the side. The texture is the worst part. This thing may make good sorbet or protein shakes, whatever, I wanted ice cream. It does not really make ice cream. $2 store brand is far better. I am so disappointed after waiting months to get one. Now I wish I could return it but I cant. And I will never believe this thing gets 4.8 stars on reviews. Something going on there with review controls.

Works great. It the extra storage cups because you are going to need them. The kids have a great time creating healthy snacks

As this system only has one blade, I didn't find that it transitioned between the variations easiky. All products made presented as a thick milkshake.

If you love really rich smooth ice cream, you’ll be in heaven with the ‘Creami Deluxe,” and that’s just the start. It comes with a 74-page colorful recipe booklet with dozens of different dessert and drink recipes. I unboxed it and opened the “Quick Start” guide. The little booklet gave all the instructions I needed to get going and it contained one ice cream recipe. I was headed out to the grocery store anyway, so I made sure I had all the ingredients required. I got home, followed the step by step recipe, (it was easy, and I am the opposite of a chef) poured the mixture in one of the two plastic pint containers and put it in the freezer. The next day, I placed the container in the device, dialed up the ‘ice cream’ settings and just let it work. In two minutes, it stopped and the “ENJOY” light came on. The ice cream was as smooth as rich as I could imagine. I took out enough for my wife and me and snapping the plastic lid on the container, put the rest back in the freezer. Clean-up is really easy. You can put everything in your dishwasher upper rack or of course wash by hand. The Creami unit itself didn’t need any cleaning at all, except maybe a damp cloth around the spindle under the control panel. Looking around online I found literally HUNDREDS of recipes for the Creami, there are lots of folks who love the unit and have come up with many ideas for it. Just Google “Ninja Creami Recipes” and you’ll see for yourself. many of them are also dairy-free if that’s what you’re looking for. The only thing frustrating about the device is usually you need to wait 24 hours for your ice cream or drink to freeze before you can enjoy it, although there are recipes like for milk shakes that you can enjoy immediately after mixing. Bottom line: The Creami is NOT a blender, you can’t put in ice cubes. You can’t make a smoothie by putting in hard ingredients, only soft fruit like oranges, pineapple or bananas. But following the recipes, it does make the best desserts and fun drinks you’ve ever tasted. I think you and your family will love it.
