I grew up with one of those ice cream makers that was a wooden bucket that you would fill with rock salt and ice, then crank the cream filled container for a few minutes to freeze. This is basically the way ice cream is made at industrial scales. Then I was introduced to nitrogen ice cream. This process places the cream in one of those KitchenAid mixers and adds liquid nitrogen directly into the cream is being stirred. The cream freezes so fast that ice crystals don't have enough time to freeze in larger sizes, creating the smoothest and creamiest ice cream you'll ever have! Seriously, try it, it's not a gimmick. Slushies follow a similar principle, but the idea is that constant stirring while freezing is the way the frozen treats are made. Enter the Ninja Creami. My daughter bugged me for one of these for years, but I had dismissed it as a gimmick; boy way I wrong! The Creami goes about making frozen treats in a novel way, at least from my perspective. You first freeze the cream, THEN THE CREAMI BEATS THE ICE CRYSTALS TO SUBMISSION!!! Yes, I was wrong. The Creami works, and it works exceedingly well! The treats are as smooth and velvety as you want them to be (ingredients are important here!). Buy the machine, you won't regret it! Oh, and I got my daughter the swirl version, because I prefer soft serve :D

It work so good, easy to assemble, easy to use, overall the best thing the ice came up so creamy and delicious. The option to come ice cream is my favorite part of it.

This thing is amazing! I worked at a famous soft serve ice cream business as my first job. I remember over 20 years ago wishing for an in home soft serve machine. My dream has come true. The ice cream is super easy to make. Mix your ingredient and freeze in the provided container for 24 or more hours to really get solid. Then put in machine and select the proper function, it mixes it for the allotted time. You can respin if not smooth or adding more liquid. Then pop another lid thing on and place on the soft serve side and pull handle. The healthy options too, are endless on this thing! The only thing that would make it better would be to not wait so long for freezing.

This thing is amazing! I have used it every other day since the day I got it. I'm able to make protein ice-cream and Acai bowls/ and so much more. I love that Im able to know what is going into my sweet treats. A side note that's a bonus is my PICKY toddler loves sorbet option, I'm able to add much more fruit and veg to his diet without him knowing! its been such a plus

TLDR: We made the best chocolate soft serve that even Joe Biden would enjoy! Prep the day before then in 24 hours enjoy! The machine is loud! The style is modern but the build quality is all plastic. Expanded review: Everything is included except the ingredients needed to make the best soft serve you ever had! The family was super excited to make their first batch. We used the included recipe book to make some chocolate ice cream. Once the ingredients were mixed we put the container in the freezer and patiently waited 24 hours to make soft serve. 24 hours later we put our previously frozen ice into the machine to convert it to soft serve. Wow the machine was as loud as a jack hammer. That is probably my only major complaint. The ice cream itself was delicious. Cleanup was easy and we just hand washed everything and cleaned the machine. The waiting time is another gripe we had. We couldn’t have instant ice cream. So if you are having a party you have to make the ice cream the at a minimum 24 hours before. The build is all plastic and it doesn’t scream luxury. It was easy to clean and wipe down.

Easy to use! With the variety of combinations and recipes available online it is a must have gadget for the kitchen. After a few experiments, the texture and flavor match if not surpass the major ice cream brands.

Easy and fun to make both hard and soft serve ice cream. Works really well.

Super easy to do. Lots of variety preparations and including açaí bowls. Device is very easy to clean too. Texture and flavor of the recipes have been top notch. Actually worried it might impact brick and mortar shops. It’s that good. The only downfall is that 95% recipes require you to prep the recipe to set for 24hrs. It comes with several containers to allow you to batch appropriately but it’s not instant.

So far so good. We use it few times. Pretty bulky sitting on countertop, but I guess that's how it should be. Also, you have to be prepared to spend some time prior to use it, like prep and freeze your ice-cream. Overall, my family likes it.

It’s incredibly easy to use with just one touch, and it makes soft serve, ice cream, milkshakes, and more. I love how smooth and creamy everything turns out. Cleaning it is a breeze, which is a big plus. My kids are loving all the different ice cream flavors we’ve been making—it’s such a fun way to spend time together as a family!

Easy to use. Easy to clean. You can make better ice cream than anything you buy in the store and come up with yor own flavors.

Wonderful machine. Does absolutely everything it says it does. Main benefit is the soft-serve ice cream, which comes out excellent. Just make sure to have your ice cream freezing for 24 hours before making or otherwise it will not work. Only downside is the machine is HUGE. If you don't have anywhere to store it or insufficient counter space, this won't work for you.

Ice cream machine that's super easy to use. The included recipe book is also a great baseline to use to create your own recipes. It doesn't have a compressor, so you have to freeze your combined ingredients before processing. However, so far it's worked far better than similar machines that have you freeze the bowl. The swirl function is good as well, but not sure if it's worth the price considering how much more the Swirl is compared to the regular CREAMi and it's Deluxe variant.

The soft serve feature is nice. The blending features are similar to any other ninja blender we have owned. Functions as expected. It is a large appliance.

This is an excellent ice cream maker. Handy makes really good treats. Love the soft serve feature.
