Working very well but it makes too much noise while working

I haven't gotten the hang of this blender yet. When I make drinks with ice, it doesn't get thick, the drinks are a little watered. I sometimes use my older one, same brand. I'll give it a few more shots. Everything else is cook

The Ninja Detect Power Blender Pro with BlendSense Technology is one smart blender! It has the power to blend anything you throw at it - fresh fruit, ice, veggies, etc. And the best part, the blender senses what you want to blend and automatically adjusts the speed, time, and pulses. With the large 72oz pitcher, there is plenty of room to make your favorite drinks, salsas, or smoothies. The blender itself is sleek and I love the suction cups on the bottom to help keep it from moving around the counter. The pitcher and blade are dishwasher safe so cleanup is a breeze. After getting the blender, the first thing I blended was a fruit smoothie. I tossed in all the frozen fruit, some ice, and a splash of milk. The blender sensed that the items were frozen and went to work blending. It was smart enough to adjust itself through the blend and in the end, created an amazing smoothie. No worrying about setting the speed, time, or pulses. Just start the blender and after a short wait, enjoy a perfectly blended smoothie. Given Ninja's focus for quality, I expect the blender to last a number of years without issue. The last Ninja blender I had lasted 6 years before the pitcher finally cracked. Overall, I was very skeptical of the blendsense technology, but have been impressed with it so far.

This is a large blender & comes with suction cups on the bottom to hold it in place. Multipurpose lid has a pour spout and locks into place. Everything on the new unit is self explanatory. I inserted all the ingredients for the vegetable smoothie. The smoothie is smoother and came together faster. The unit is also significantly quieter. I used the Blend Sense setting. More of the smoothie was on the cover but it was easily removed with a spatula. This would be great for making frozen drinks with the 72 oz pitcher for when you have guests. It also can be used to make nut butters. This blender has smart technology that can automatically adjust speed and time for perfectly smoothie results. The Ninja Total Crushing & Chopping give you perfectly crushed ice for your smoothies and frozen drinks. For chopped vegetables it has Large chop, Small Chop and Mince. For holiday parties, this would be great. Mine did not come with the 2 24-OZ. SINGLE-SERVE CUP and I plan to add those since it would be easier for clean-up. Containers, lids, and blades are all top-rack dishwasher safe BUT the Manual cautions you not to use with heat dry cycle so this would be a problem for me. I have a huge kitchen with lots of counter space, however this blender is so big, I am not sure we’re to locate this since leaving it out competes with items that are used every day. I think this is best designed for families that make several smoothies in the morning.

We got this to replace an old worn out basic blender that we had for many years. It was time to upgrade. We wanted a blender that would do smoothies and also chop vegetables and everything else. This is definitely not your basic everyday blender. The setup out of the box was simple and the owners manual was great and easy to read. It is a heavy blender that isn't going to walk across the counter when it is being used like a cheap blender. This Ninja Detect Power Blender Pro will do anything that you want it to do. This machine will speed up when it is needed and will slow down to let whatever you are blending to settle back down, then speeds back up again until your milkshake, smoothie or whatever you're making is perfectly smooth without being overly blended. The BlendSense Technology seems to work really well when making smoothies or frozen margaritas or anything else. The blades were very sharp and disassembly of the pieces for cleanup was easy to do. This is a very modern looking, hi-tech blender that will last you a long time.

This is a powerful blender and very easy to use. It works great for blending drinks, making smoothies, mixed drinks, salsas and the like, however, the chopping leaves something to be desired. It easily blends mixes to the desired consistency with the touch of a button, but also gives you control over the consistency if your preference is different. As with any blender, you need to add the ingredients in the proper order. This blender, though, is set apart from others as it senses the ingredients to blend together into a smooth mixture. And it does a wonderful job doing that. If you desire to make a nut spread or other mixture that you prefer to be more chunky it gives you the control to do so. The chopping feature I do not find to be consistent though. Using this feature to chop vegetables has not given me any consistency yet. I get vegetables chopped consistent for salsa on the bottom while having almost untouched vegetable chunks on top. But it's not the main job of a blender for me anyway, so not that important. If I were making a salsa, this would still do fine. I also really like the pour spout and handle on the lid. This is a well built, well functioning, quality blender that I would recommend to anyone.

Decided to try a cheaper Ninja since the Vitamix that I usually buy is so much more expensive. Took it out of the box and it won't work because it does not register that the container is locked in. It just keeps flashing install.

The Ninja Blender Detect has exceeded my expectations in the auto blend department. I've made several smoothies thus far and every time the Ninja blends perfectly without any intervention. Now the big difference I see is in the blade design. Most blenders have a spinning blade that sits at the bottom and creates a vortex to allow ingredients at the top to make its way down. More often than not, that vortex created only blends the bottom half of the entire blender jar. The Ninja has a towering blade that stands almost as tall as the blender jar. This allows for blending at all levels of the large 72oz blender jar, and it works really well. The Detect aspect of this blender is pretty sleek. It is able to detect how much effort is needed to blend your ingredients and apply a blending profile automatically. They call it Blend Sense, and it will adjust the blender's speed, pulses and run time. With a peak wattage of 1800, this blender doesn't shy away from the most tough foods. Ninja is telling us to trust the machine to do the work the best way that it can. Using the blender is very easy. I love that you have to lock in the blender jar to the base in order for you to turn it on. This assures that the motor is in full contact with the blade mechanism. Then you simply turn on the blender using the power button, then press the big center button and let Blend Sense do it's thing. The blade itself is removable from the blender jar, so after you're done blending your ingredients, you can simply pull the blade out of the jar and you'll be left with your blended goodness. No need to fish for that little bit of smoothie underneath the fixed blade like other manufacturers. For those power users, yes you can still choose from manual settings just like most blenders on the market. The blender is actually on the quiet side, and that's always a plus. Based on how the blender is constructed I thought it might be hard to clean. Fortunately Ninja thought this through and made the blades removeable for easy cleaning. I’m also thrilled that it’s all dishwasher safe. I will usually give everything a good rinse before I put it in the dishwasher, but that’s just to get the excess debris loosened up. I’ve not had any issues with the blender elements getting clean in the dishwasher. I am really impressed even with its price point this is highly recommended! Nice job, Ninja!

First of all, it’s a large heavy-duty blender as its footprint measures roughly 8 x 8 inches and it stands 17 inches tall. The blender settings are all handled by a horizontal panel of touch buttons which include power off/on, manual (variable speed), blend-sense, mode (mince and chop), and pulse. The large circular knob acts as a submenu selector of manual and mode options and in some cases used to start and stop the blending. The pitcher is made of clear plastic with a locking lid and pour spout. The base features suction cup feet to prevent the blender from vibrating off the countertop. The suction cups make moving the blender a bit of a challenge, but you will quickly appreciate having them when you run the blender with a full pitcher. The removeable blade system is one of the more unique standout features, comprised of a series of three vertically stacked blades. The three blades are no doubt the reason why this blender excels at making exceptional smoothie drinks. The other standout feature is the auto-sense blending technology, which somehow figures out what you are blending and then intelligently operates the blender to get the best results. Based on my personal experience using this blender, the BlendSense technology seems to make the best creamy smoothies of any blender I have ever used. In fact, the accompanying brochure clearly states it’s “the blender that automatically adjusts speed and time for perfectly smooth results”. My wife and I tried making a slushy ice drink with coffee liquor, ice, and milk using the BlendSense setting and it turned it into a creamy smooth drink. If you prefer a drink with more ice though, then possibly using the pulse setting might be a better setting choice. With the chop settings, using the blender as a food processor only adds to its repertoire as a well-rounded kitchen appliance. I have learned from experience to trust Ninja to make some of the best small appliances around…including air fryers and grills, pots and pans, and coffee makers, all of which I currently own and use. The Ninja Detect Power Blender Pro continues that tradition of quality and function at affordable prices. It is the perfect addition to making healthy nutritious recipes at home.

Ninja's Detect Power Blender Pro is a powerful blender with some intelligent features. Operation is intuitive and the motor can drive the blender through any task. And aside from being useful for standard blending tasks like making frozen drinks or smoothies, this blender has modes that can help with food prepping tasks like chopping vegetables or processing meat for burgers. It comes with a short, but useful, manual that provides simple recipes designed to help you understand the different modes. The large plastic pitcher locks securely onto the base and the lid locks securely onto the pitcher - both of these are safety measures that must be in place for the blender to operate. Overall, the secure engagement of the pitcher and the base make this blender feel like a professional bartender's blender. My own preference is for a blender to have a removable "cap" in the lid that allows you to introduce additional ingredients while the blender is running but I understand that these caps can be dangerous in some situations where you are blending hot ingredients. For manual blending, like emulsifying a salad dressing, the Ninja behaves like almost any other blender (except it really doesn't have a speed that is "slow"). In chopping mode, I was surprised how quickly and evenly it was able to process onions into large or small dice from a quartered onion - and the built-in intelligence sensed when to stop processing. And in the BlendSense mode it took frozen drinks to the next level - it was able to process the ice to the point where drinks were smooth as silk (not drinky/crunchy). Many blenders that feature special modes of operation seem gimmicky and the features feel unnecessary, but I think this Ninja has delivered a few very intelligent features that work as advertised and that users will appreciate and actually use. Awesome machine!

The Ninja Detect Power Blender Pro does exactly what I am intending it to do. It pulverizes ice cubes into a nice, crushed slush perfect for a margarita or any other beverage you have in mind. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it has a pulse option and I’m thinking of another appliance that will no longer be needed on the countertop thanks to the Ninja Detect Power Blender. The blender has a Blendsense option, and it pulverized those ice cubes perfectly. There is a Mode option that has mince, small chop, and large chop options. The Manual option lets you set a speed to blend at 1 through 10. I got up to 4 and got the same results with the ice cubes. I think the Blendsense option pulverized them a bit faster, but I confess, I didn’t actually time the two tests. Smoothies are easy peasy with the Ninja blender. The mixing container has liquid measuring scale. Fantastic! It is in both litre/Millitre as well as ounces/cups. Tooke me a minute to figure out you need to press the “release” button on the lid to put the lid on the container. The release button allows the handle to go up, which then allows the lid to fit on the container and you push the handle down, so it locks in place. The unit consists of three pieces, the base with the motor, the container, and the lid. The blade on the inside easily comes out for cleaning. Don’t turn the container upside down as the blade will fall out. The extension cord has an attached Velcro strap to wrap up the power cord. Great blender definitely earned a spot on the countertop.

Ninja is poor quality that you have to constantly replace.

We have a bar in the basement and I have been slowly equipping it with proper "bar appliances". One of the appliances that was missing was a decent blender. When I had the opportunity to get this Ninja Detect Power Blender Pro with BlendSense Technology, I jumped on it. Inital thoughts are it is classical Ninja consumer quality. I have had several NInja devices from kitchen appliances to vacuums and I have yet to be disapointed. The Ninja Detect Power Blender Pro continues that trend. It is a handsome device with a quality look and feel. Operation is as expected, intuitive and simple. I mean it's a blender. For our first use, we had a few friends over to watch the Avalanche season opener. For the first round of drinks, we did the classic margarita. The Ninja Detect Power Blender Pro hadled it no problem and offered a very nice, even blend from first pour to last. We then did a series of daiquiri's and topped it off with a pina collada. Will all rounds, the outcome was the same. Even, smooth drinks delivered with plenty of power. End of the day, I am glad I took the opportunity. This is a great addition to back of the basement bar!

Huge fan of Ninja as a brand. This may be a good blender - but, for our use case, this wouldn't grind as finely as we need. Didn't work for us.

Overview: The Ninja Power Blend Pro is a really solid appliance. Build: The build quality is very nice. Looks great, chops, dices, blends, smoothies, shakes, bowls, protein drinks, no issue with this device. Little suction cups on the bottom of the appliance keeps it from sliding all over the place. Style: The styling of the blender looks top notch. Fits on my counter without taking up too much space and isn’t too tall. Stainless with black looks amazing and goes with the rest of my appliances in my kitchen. Chopping, cutting, blending: I used this to make my fish food. Placed Shrimp, Scallops, Calamari, Pollock, and flake food in the blender. I added some water and turned this on. It comes on and goes off, then on and then off to make sure the ingredients comes back down to the base so it can continue to chop and cut the ingredients into a puree. I also used it to make a protein shake for two with the same results. Did a great job of making the ingredients consistent and smooth. It also took very little time to make these things. Easy pour spout to keep from making a big mess, easy to take a part and clean. Highly recommend this appliance to anyone who is in the market for a great blender.

It seems like AI and automatic systems are the new wave in everything these days. The Shark Detect Power Blender Pro is a blender - mixer - dicer that automatically adjusts the blade speed to generate the desired consistency. The dial has a glossy black front that, when turned on, then shows a digital display. You rotate the actual dial to select your target, then the blender senses and takes care of the rest. We noticed no banging or rocking of the blender base during use. Speaking of the blender, the blades are removable which allows for easy and thorough cleaning of both the blades as well as the pitcher. The blender lid has a spout cover with a wire in the middle which prevents big chunks of ice or fruit or whatever you’re blending from plopping out. It’s a really simple yet elegant way to prevent an annoyance. When you set the blender and turn to lock, it clicks in place so you know for sure it’s secured. The blender lid similarly clicks into place with an audible and tactile cue. No issues with a slightly off blender or lid leading to a smoothie getting whipped all over the kitchen. Everything just works, which was quite nice. Highly recommend

I am a huge fan of all of the Shark/Ninja products I started out years ago with the original Ninja blender, and it has grown to vacuums, carpet cleaners and robot vacuums The price point on their products get your attention, but the attractive designs, innovative features and lasting dependability keeps you coming back to the brand As mentioned that I already have a Ninja blender, but when we became a grandparent, we needed something a little different to make our own baby food. I also wanted something completely dedicated to the little one to avoid any cross contamination Un boxing is typical - it is shipped as a box in a box, with sufficient dunnage to protect in transit The owners manual is outstanding. Explains the features and how and when to use them. Want to blend fine? Let the blender take out the guesswork for you Chop? Select how fine or course you want it, and let the blender do the rest Didn't get enough blending? Use the manual mode or pulse to reach your desired consistency Like all Ninja blenders, the blades are sharp, so be careful handling and washing Lastly, I have not found anything that the motor can not power through

I'm not a frequent blender user. That said, when the opportunity arose to test out the Ninja Detect Power Blender Pro with BlendSense Technology, I checked my cabinet. I do have a random blender from goodness knows where, that was missing part of the lid and hasn't ben used in some time. Upon arrival, I immediately took it out, read the directions & then searched for some recipes! Immediate impression- it's an attractive appliance that I can leave out or break down easily for storage. LOVE the locking lid!! In my blending past, I have fallen victim more than once to the sitcom-like scenario where the lid pops off and your blended items fly all over! I made some homemade hummus and a smoothie for my dinner a few nights ago. The BlendSense Technology definitely picked different times and speeds for the two different recipes and made quick work of both the all-soft hummus ingredients and the partially frozen smoothie ingredients. If you're looking for a smart, modern take on a staple kitchen counter appliance, you're not going to go wrong with the Ninja Detect Power Blender Pro with BlendSense Technology.

This blender has been a great addition to our kitchen. It’s mighty powerful with 1800 watts of peak power through its sleek low-profile base. This brawny base and blades have no problem taking care of whatever you’re looking to blend, grind, chop, puree, etc. Save time, steps, and money by utilizing the chop in pitcher capability to put essentially full uncut/chopped ingredients straight into the blender’s pitcher without the need to pre-chop them to reduce size. The base/motor unit utilizes blend sense smart blending technology. This technology is basically automatic calibration and settings made in order to provide you with the perfect blend for any recipe. The base automatically detects portion size, the presence or absence of ice, as well as soft or frozen ingredients. This is all in order to detect what and how much is in the pitcher and sets power, speed, torque, pulses and all other settings to the appropriate levels to ensure the perfect blend. If the automated features aren’t your flavor, then there is a manual override for complete control of the blender through its 10-speed motor base. Build Quality seems up to the challenge. Utilizes solid, quality feeling materials in its construction. It appears to be sturdy and durable, seems able to withstand heavy regular use. A unique design/feature of this blender is the multiple blades that come up a central shaft in the center of the pitcher. This is a great feature that I’m surprised I’ve never seen before. It really makes for a better blending experience and allows you to put more ingredients in the blender without the need to constantly help things down to the blades at the bottom. Very nice and appreciated feature. Noise Level: the noise level produced during operation is very low, not much motor, unit, or gear noise to note. Now over noise of course depends on what’s in the pitcher, but the unit itself and for most applications of ingredients remains fairly quiet and tolerable. I’ve had some other high-powered blenders that were quite loud and a bit obnoxious in our home environment – especially if someone was trying to mix up a morning smoothie while others are still asleep. This blender certainly does not seem to have that problem. Capacity and Size is great. The large 72-ounce pitcher is definitely enough for anything I’ve ever made. Its footprint is small and very reasonable to leave this out on the counter all the time without claiming too much space to do so. If anything, it may seem a little tall for some kitchens, but we did not have this problem and it fits in well in our kitchen on the counter under the cabinets. Pitcher size is more than suitable for our needs and usage. Cleaning and Maintenance: Super easy to clean with all components being dishwasher safe. The blender/pitcher/blade are easy to disassemble for quick pain-free cleaning? Price and Value: I would consider the price of this blender to be pretty low in comparison to others I’ve had with similar features and performance. I think this unit offers GREAT value for the price point compared to other blenders with similar capabilities.
