I like the ability to vary between making a carafe or just a single cup of coffee. I also like the frother and the measuring spoon attached. This coffee maker is very versatile. A little pricy, but worth every cent!!

This coffee maker makes a full pot or a cup at a time! The thermal Carafe keeps the coffee hot for awhile! We love it!

The coffee tastes great and the carafe keeps it warm for quite a while without over cooking it. However, it is a constant battle to keep the grounds from overflowing the basket. If the water heated a little slower this wouldn't be a problem.

This thing is amazing and we already saved all the money we would have spent at A coffee shop on this in a month. It is so easy to make coffees and teas. I don’t even use the iPod portion because if you get a recyclable filter you can basically just use the grains a few times. The ease of switching from coffee to water (boiling or hot) it does everything the really expensive ones do. Super durable! Great buy!

I love this coffee maker, so convenient, and really nice design for small or bigger space. but, make sure you buy extended warranty, most of this brand coffee makers fails after one year of use. I don't understand why.

Love dual brewing system. Easy to use. I don’t need to go to specialty shops when a have coffee maker at home that makes the same coffee.

The Ninja DualBrew Specialty was my choice for coffee makers for my new condo. I love the ability to switch between k-cups and the carafe. I also love that hot water comes from a different hole in the unit, which prevents any left over coffee grounds from mixing in with hot water. I have not tried the brother as of yet. I would purchase this at full price, but for the Black Friday sale this was a no brainer!

Love the thermal carafe vs the hot plate that can get burnt / sticky. Best buy is the only retailer I've seen with this item.

I've had this for about 8 months now. This coffee pot is a brilliant idea that, sadly, seems to have had zero user-testing. From little things like the inability to disable the loud beeping when a pot is brewed early in the morning to the carafe's design ensuring you'll dribble coffee all over your counter 9 of 10 pours, the execution just isn't there. The features all technically work, and some work well: heating up water is great, the various amounts of brew by oz. is cool, and the actual brewed coffee tastes great (i found 37oz to be the best performer). The attached measuring spoon, the fold-down mug holder, and a re-locatable water tank are all great features they deliver on well. However, there's just too many misses, primarily with the carafe. * The carafe really only keeps coffee hot for an hour or so (though I'll say using the hot water feature to pre-heat a mug with 4oz of boiling water pre-pour is pretty cool). * Where the black band and metal lip meet isn't sealed well, so over time coffee makes its way in. Not a huge deal, until you notice as the coffee pot gets hot, old gross coffee water you can't wash out leaks out as you pour into your coffee. Eww. * Their product design team went ham on the actual appearance of the carafe (it does look great) but performance is awful. There's no actual spout so the coffee often dribbles down the front. The tiny air hole gets air-lock/a bubble/something that causes the coffee to slowly pour until it builds enough vacuum and then coffee pours out too fast. A few other things: * For how fancy the display is, I'm surprised I can't mute the loud beeping when coffee is brewed. As much as I want to broadcast I'm an early riser, my family would rather I not. * I'm surprised there aren't temperature controls for the coffee - seems easy to make this cater to the tinkerers out there. * I tried using the dunkin brand pods and this would blow through the interior lining leaving a cup full of grounds - the starbucks ones worked well tho. While it makes good coffee, the cons are too many and too significant to recommend this product, let alone give it a better rating.

Since purchasing, it has easily been the coffee maker I've had. The ease of switching from k cups to regular coffee as well as the ability to make iced coffee or tea has made this a no-brainer repurchase an recommendation.

It’s a very nice coffee maker, but the coffee and the water is not hot enough. It should be boiling for the amount of money that you pay for it. Should be better!!!
