Love the coffee maker. Really like the flexibility of being able to use k cups and specialty drinks.

This coffeemaker has amazing flexbility and worked great with all its features from full and partial brewed pots to k-cup travel mugs. The water reservoir is easy to use, the carafe doesnt leak or drip on pours, and the touchscreen is useful and intuitive. Unfortunately this experience was short-lived when it stopped working about 15 months in, 3 months after the warranty expired. The machine tries to brew, the brew light flashes once, and then shuts off. There are no error codes on the screen and no documentation for troubleshooting with Ninja or anywhere else online that I can find for this model. It’s now a $200 paperweight, and I’m disappointed that Ninja’s quality on this coffeemaker is no better than a $40 Coffeemate.

So at 1st we were very impressed with this coffee maker. Then we realized that the plate on the bottom wasn't getting warm and even though it's a stainless steel carafe after a while the coffee cools. After checking the user manual for instructions on the warmer plate that clearly stated there was a button for that we could not locate one on the machine. We called customer service who advised us that because it's the machine with the stainless steel thermal carafe it doesn't have a Warming plate. What a freakin cheap rip off. For a high end company with high end appliances this machine sucks I highly recommend you don't buy it

Coffee maker is a great buy. Coffee is made quick and very hot. Would purchase again.

Maybe ours was defective, but it just was such a step down for the ninja 12 cup (no pod) coffee maker ($50-$70ish). The first time we brewed, we used the same amount of coffee as we did with our last ninja coffee maker, as they us the same coffee filter. The coffee grounds overflowed all over the top of the pot and base. Also, we used the rich settings, and it just used less water and was still less strong; where as the basic ninja made a much richer roast. We tried the regular setting the next morning and less grinds (so it wouldn't overflow). The coffee was even weaker and there were coffee beans were still all over. We tried a few more times, and the coffee was just weaker than the regular ninja and we couldn't get the beans to not over flow unless we were only putting less than 3 big scoops (where it mentions 7 should be the max). We returned it and bought a new basic 12 cup ninja and LOVE it again.

Works great had a hard time with some of our pods but we just had to push the button again and it worked fine. Good purchase
