I have made both Kcups and a full pot and it has worked perfectly! The pot keeps the coffee hot for quite some time and the kcup option you receive a full 12 oz cup in less than 30 seconds. The frother is amazing too within 45 seconds the milk is frothed I would definitely recommend this coffee machine to others.

ALWAYS BREWING

Wasn't aware Ninja made coffee pots. The coffee is sooo smoothe. The froth is amazing and so easy to use. I've been converted to an ice coffee drinker. I start my day with my piping hot special brew and leave for work with a refreshing ice coffee. My wife who drinks coffee in a blue moon is a true convert brewing a cup daily.

Disposable ones work just fine, however. Have used this machine for a couple months and am enjoying the flexibility and design.

Best over-all coffee maker

Makes coffee fast, and I love that I can go back and forth between using K-cups and coffee filters. For the price of this machine I just wish it came with a reusable filter, but I got a nice stainless steel one off Amazon for cheap. It does great with making iced coffee, and the frother is a nice addition.

Thermal carafe does NOT keep coffee warm

It didn't last as long as i expected it to. The 3 star review is due to the fact that the thermal carafe does not keep the' xe 3rd Ninja thermal carafe system I've purchased. All three kept coffe warm about 30 minutes. The first I hoped was a fluke. The second was a requested gift. The third just died. I won't purchase another Ninja thermal carafe system. I did buy a glass carafe system with a heating element to keep coffe warm. The coffee making system is great. But the stainless steel carafe deserves negative stars. Very disappointing Ninja item

I don't understand why.

Disappointing

However, it is a constant battle to keep the grounds from overflowing the basket. If the water heated a little slower this wouldn't be a problem.

Fantastic cup of coffee - worth the $$

Using the same grounds as we do in our more "basic" pot, the flavor was far better than what we had before. The coffee in thermal carafe stayed warm for ~10 hours which was amazing! I tried out the iced coffee feature and was impressed with the flavor. The Frother is fantastic! Super easy to use and highly recommend. the only thing I was disappointed in (and it likely was in the details and I missed it) is that you cannot use a reusable K-Cup with this device.

Last coffee pot you'll ever need!

We've had it for over a year now and couldn't be happier! Coffee stays hot for over two hours - the pot is perfect and the machine is too! Easy to add K cup insert for individual cups, but also can brew a single cup from the basket. Set the delay start every day and works without fail. Easy to set the clock and timer, easy to wash the pot...really, it's a great machine!
