Love my NInja brew system!

However, it is a constant battle to keep the grounds from overflowing the basket. If the water heated a little slower this wouldn't be a problem.

I don't understand why.

I always bought keurig and every year I would need a new one. This machine is easy to use. Easy to clean. Has many options for different brews. I love it. You can use pods or ground.

Almost all my small appliances are Ninja brand. My husband loves the k-cup thing for coffee and i used the basket part to make iced tea. Will definitely buy again.

Yes I would recommend this coffee maker to every one that enjoys coffee!!!

Almost Perfect

I like the taste of pour-over type coffee. Hence we went with the Ninja duo to get a little bit of both. This machine serves both of our wants/needs when it comes to coffee. For the most part, during the week, we use the "delay" feature to program our morning brew, and we both drink from the same brew. On the weekends when I sleep in later, my hubby uses a pod, and I make more coffee when I wake up. I also love the frother attachment. The taste of the coffee is superb -- much better than other drip coffee makers that we have. The quality of coffee taste is similar to that which I would get from a slow pour or a french press without the headache. A major con for this machine is that no reusable pod is compatible with the pod adapter. We tried several different types and even tried to modify the standard/universal reusable pod without success. Since we don't use the pod adapter often, we don't mind using pre-filled pods, but we would rather have something reusable to save on waste and expense. A less offensive con is that the metal carafe version of the duo does not have the "smart" heated plate option. Thus, the coffee does not stay warm for much more than an hour. Our only other issue was that finding a reusable filter for the main coffee holder was nearly impossible. None of the #4 metal filters will fit this, and the Ninja brand has been out of stock since we purchased the machine. We did find reusable cloth filters that work just fine, and I actually prefer those now that we have been using them.
